Background and Aims:The study aimed to create a new staging model for radiotherapy-based treatment for prognostic hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)***:The training cohort comprised 658 patients receiving stereotactic body radiotherapy and external validation cohort comprised 533 patients receiving three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy and intensity-modulated *** established a modified staging system as follows:stage I,solitary nodule without macrovascular invasion,or 2–3 nodules no more than 3.0 cm apart,and performance status(PS)0–2(Ia:ALBI-1 grade;Ib:ALBI-2 or 3 grade);stage II:2–3 nodules with any one nodule more than 3.0-cm apart,or≥4 nodules,and performance status 0–2(IIa:ALBI-1 grade;IIb:ALBI-2 grade);stage III:macrovascular invasion,regional lymph node metastasis or distant metastasis,and performance status 0–2(IIIa:ALBI-1 grade;IIIb:ALBI-2 grade);stage IV:performance status 3–4,or performance status 0–2 with ALBI-3 *** analyzed longterm overall survival based on different ***:The staging model showed an excellent ability to discriminate patients according to four stages and seven substages with notably different curves in the training and validation *** median survival decreased from stages I to IV with 63.0 months in stage I(not reached in Ia,and 53.0 months in Ib),24.0 months in stage II(28.0 months in IIa,and 22.0 months in IIb),11.0 months in stage III(18.0 months in IIIa,and 9.0 months in IIIb),and less than 9.0 months in stage IV in the training ***:The modified staging model may provide an alternative for clinical radiation oncologists.

AIM: To evaluate the efficacy and toxicity of stereotactic body radiotherapy using Cyber Knife for locally advanced unresectable and metastatic pancreatic ***: From June 2010 to May 2014,25 patients with locally advanced unresectable and metastatic pancreatic cancer underwent stereotactic body *** patients presented with unresectable locally advanced disease and 16 had metastatic *** end-points of this study were overall survival,relief of abdominal pain,and ***: Fourteen patients were treated with a total dose of 30-36 Gy in three fractions and the remainder with 40-48 Gy in four *** follow-up was 11 mo(range: 2-25 mo).The median survival duration calculated from the time of stereotactic body radiotherapy for the entire group,the locally advanced group,and the metastatic group was 9.0 mo,13.5 mo,and 8.5 mo,*** survival was 37% and 18% at one and two years,*** pain relief was achieved within 2 wk of completing radiotherapy in the patients who received successful palliation(13 of 20 patients had significant pain).Five patients(20%) had grade 1 nausea,and one(4%) had grade 2 *** acute grade 3+ toxicity was ***: Stereotactic body radiotherapy using the Cyber Knife system is a promising,noninvasive,palliative treatment with acceptable toxicity for locally advanced unresectable and metastatic pancreatic cancer.

With the development of quantum computing technology, quantum public-key cryptography is gradually becoming an alternative to the existing classical public-key cryptography. This paper designs a quantum trapdoor one-way function via EPR pairs and quantum measurements. Based on this, a new quantum public-key cryptosystem is presented, which offers forward security,and can resist the chosen-plaintext attack and chosen-ciphertext attack. Compared with the existing quantum public-key cryptos,eavesdropping can be automatically detected in this new quantum public-key cryptosystem under a necessary condition, which is also detailed in the paper.

High-resolution non-emissive displays based on electrochromic tungsten oxides(WOx)are crucial for future near-eye virtual/augmented reality interactions,given their impressive attributes such as high environmental stability,ideal outdoor readability,and low energy ***,the limited intrinsic structure of inorganic materials has presented a significant challenge in achieving precise patterning/pixelation at the micron ***,we successfully developed the direct photolithography for WOx nanoparticles based on in situ photo-induced ligand *** strategy enabled us to achieve ultra-high resolution efficiently(line widthsulting device exhibited impressive electrochromic performance,such as fast response(3600 cycles),as well as promising applications in electronic logos,pixelated displays,flexible electronics,*** success and advancements presented here are expected to inspire and accelerate research and development(R&D)in high-resolution non-emissive displays and other ultra-fine micro-electronics.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the interaction between dispersed and elongated bubbles in horizontal slug flow utilizing the laser-induced fluorescence method. A Segmentation method based on the fuzzy C-mean (FCM) algorithm is proposed to effectively separate elongated bubbles from the liquid phase， and an extreme value extraction method is developed to calculate the number of dispersed bubbles in front of the nose of elongated bubbles. Moreover， the velocity offsets of elongated bubbles with and without dispersed bubbles are calculated separately based on contour extraction. In addition， the effect of dispersed bubbles on the fluctuating offsets of the nose tip position and velocity of elongated bubbles are statistically investigated under different flow velocities. The experimental results show that the increase of the gas-liquid flow velocity exacerbates the radial deviation of the nose tip and the fluctuation of axial velocity.

In this paper, a new reliable H-infinity filter design problem is proposed for a class of continuous-time sys- tems with sensor saturation and failures. Attention is focused on the analysis and synthesis problems of a full order reliable H-infinity filter such that the filtering error dynamics is asymptotically stable with a guaranteed disturbance rejection atten- uation level -y. It is shown that the filtering error dynamics obtained from the original system plus the filter can be modeled by a linear system with sector bounded nonlinearity. The design conditions are given in terms of solutions to a set of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）. These conditions are then considered in a convex optimization problem with LMIs constraints in order to design an optimal reliable H-infinity filter. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.

The design of robust H-infinity controller for uncertain discrete-time Markovianjump systems with actuator saturation is addressed in this paper. The parameter uncertainties are assumed to be norm-bounded. Linear matrix inequality （LMI） conditions are proposed to design a set of controllers in order to satisfy the closed-loop local stability and closed-loop H-infinity performance. Using an LMI approach, a set of state feedback gains is constructed such that the set of admissible initial conditions is enlarged and formulated through solving an optimization problem. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
