Globally,public health interventions have resulted in a 30-year increase in women’s life ***,women’s health has not increased when socioeconomic status is ***’s health has become a major public health concern,for those women from developing countries are still struggling with infectious and labor-related diseases,and their counterparts in developed countries are suffering from physical and psychological *** recent years,complementary and alternative medicine has attracted wide attentions with regards to maintaining women’s ***,a crucial component of traditional Chinese medicine,has been used to treat many obstetric and gynecological diseases for thousands of years due to its analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects and its effects on stimulating the sympathetic/parasympathetic nervous *** fully understand the mechanism through which acupuncture exerts its effects in these diseases would significantly extend the list of available interventions and would allow for more reasonable advice to be given to general ***,by searching PubMed and CNKI regarding the use of acupuncture in treating obstetric and gynecological diseases,we aimed to summarize the proven evidence of using acupuncture in maintaining women’s health by considering both its effectiveness and the underlying mechanisms behind its effects.

Breast cancer,a predominant global health issue,requires ongoing exploration of new therapeutic ***(PAL),a well-known cyclin-dependent kinase(CDK)inhibitor,plays a critical role in breast cancer *** its efﬁcacy is recognized,the interplay between PAL and cellular autophagy,particularly in the context of the RAF/MEK/ERK signaling pathway,remains insufﬁciently *** study investigates PAL’s inhibitory effects on breast cancer using both in vitro(MCF7 and MDA-MB-468 cells)and in vivo(tumor-bearing nude mice)*** at elucidating the impact of PAL on autophagic processes and exploring the potential of combining it with trametinib(TRA),an MEK inhibitor,our research seeks to address the challenge of PAL-induced drug ***ﬁndings reveal that PAL signiﬁcantly decreases the viability of MCF7 and MDA-MB-468 cells and reduces tumor size in mice while showing minimal cytotoxicity in MCF10A ***,PAL also induces protective autophagy,potentially leading to drug resistance via the RAF/MEK/ERK pathway *** TRA effectively neutralized this autophagy,enhancing PAL’s anti-tumor efﬁcacy.A combination of PAL and TRA synergistically reduced cell viability and proliferation,and in vivo studies showed notable tumor size *** conclusion,the PAL and TRA combination emerges as a promising strategy for overcoming PAL-induced resistance,offering a new horizon in breast cancer treatment.

Spinel MnCo_(2)O_(4) is a promising energy storage candidate as anode materials in lithium-ion batteries owing to synergistic effects of two intrinsic solid-state redox ***,low conductivity,poor rate capacity and rapid capacity fading have seriously impaired its practical *** overcome the inferiorities,urchin-like MnCo_(2)O_(4)@C core–shell nanowire arrays have been fabricated directly within a porous copper current collector via a facile hydrothermal method followed by a chemical vapor deposition carbonization *** a typical nanowire,the core is composed of interconnected MnCo_(2)O_(4)nanoparticles and the shell shows as a thin amorphous carbon *** integrated MnCo_(2)O_(4)@C/Cu structure could act as working anodes without using additives or polymer *** MnCo_(2)O_(4)@C/Cu possesses slightly longer Li-ion insertion/desertion pathway than that of MnCo_(2)O_(4)/Cu,the carbon shell could effectively prevent the pulverization of MnCo_(2)O_(4) and lower down charge transfer resistance and actively participate in Li-ion *** rearrangement of carbon atoms during lithiation/delithiation cycling could inhibit the formation of passive solid electrolyte interphase *** a result,the MnCo_(2)O_(4)@C/Cu electrode presents superior rate capacity(600 mAh·g^(−1) at 1 A·g^(−1)) and better stability(797 mAh·g^(−1) after 200 cycles at 100 mA·g^(−1)).The excellent reversible Li ion storage capacity,cycling stability and rate capacity endow MnCo_(2)O_(4)@C/Cu great potential as stable and high output integrated anode materials in Li-ion batteries.

Porous silica nano-flowers(KCC-1)immobilized Pt-Pd alloy NPs(Pt-Pd/KCC-1)with different mass ratios of Pd and Pt were successfully prepared by a facile in situ one-step reduction,using hydrazinium hydroxide as a reducing *** as-synthesized silica nanospheres possess radial fibers with a distance of 15 nm,exhibiting a high specific surface area(443.56 m^(2)·g^(-1)).Meanwhile,the obtained Pt-Pd alloy NPs are uniformly dispersed on the silica surface with a metallic particle size of 4-6 nm,which exist as metallic Pd and Pt on the surface of monodisperse KCC-1,showing the transfer of electrons from Pd to *** as-synthesized 2.5%Pt-2.5%Pd/KCC-1 exhibited excellent catalytic activity and stability for the continuous dehydrogenation of 2-methoxycyclohexanol to prepare *** with Pt or Pd single metal supported catalysts,the obtained 2.5%Pt-2.5%Pd/KCC-1 shows 97.2%conversion rate of 2-methoxycyclohexanol and 76.8%selectivity for guaiacol,which attributed to the significant synergistic effect of bimetallic Pt-Pd alloy ***,turn over frequency value of the obtained 2.5%Pt-2.5%Pd/KCC-1 NPs achieved 4.36 s^(-1),showing higher catalytic efficiency than other two monometallic *** pathways of dehydro-aromatization of 2-methoxycyclohexanol over the obtained catalyst are ***,the obtained 2.5%Pt-2.5%Pd/KCC-1 NPs prove their potential in the dehydrogenation of 2-methoxycyclohexanol,while the kinetics and mechanistic study of the dehydrogenation reaction over the catalyst in a continuous fixed-bed reactor may provide valuable information for the development of green,outstanding and powerful synthetic pathway of guaiacol.

Metal-insulator-metal(MIM)cavity as a lithography-free structure to control light transmission and reflection has great potential in the field of optical ***,the dense top metal layer of the MIM prohibits any external medium from entering the dielectric insulation layer,which limits the application of the cavity in the sensing ***,we demonstrate a series of monolithic metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)based MIM cavities,which are treated by plasma etching to provide channels for chemical diffusion and to advance *** modulate the bandwidth of the MIM filters by controlling the MOF thickness as insulator *** plasma-etching is applied to build channels on the top metal layer without altering their saturation and brightness for chemical sensing *** etching time regulates the number and size of channels on the top metal *** behavior is demonstrated on the plasma-etched MOFs-based MIM cavity when external chemicals diffuse in the *** addition,we generate patterned structure of the MOFs-based MIM cavity via plasma-mask method,which can transfer to different substrates and produce a controllable structure color change for chemical *** MIM cavity may promote the advancement and applications of structural color in security imaging,color display,information anticounterfeiting,and color printing.

Given a k×n integer primitive matrix A(i.e.,a matrix can be extended to an n×n unimodular matrix over the integers)with the maximal absolute value of entries‖A‖bounded by an integer λ from above,the authors study the probability that the m×n matrix extended from A by appending other m-k row vectors of dimension n with entries chosen randomly and independently from the uniform distribution over{0,1,…,λ-1}is still *** authors present a complete and rigorous proof of a lower bound on the probability,which is at least a constant for fixed m in the range[k+1,n-4].As an application,the authors prove that there exists a fast Las Vegas algorithm that completes a k×n primitive matrix A to an n×n unimodular matrix within expected O(n^(ω)log‖A‖)bit operations,where O is big-O but without log factors,ω is the exponent on the arithmetic operations of matrix multiplication.

Global climate change poses a severe threat to mountain *** plasticity and local adaptation are two common strategies for alpine plant to cope with such *** may facilitate organismal adaptation to contrasting environments,depending on the influences of the environment or genotype or their interacted *** this study,we use an endemic alpine plant(Rorippa elata)in the Hengduan mountains(HDM)to unravel its phenotypic basis of adaptation strategy and evaluate the relative contributions of environment and genotype to its *** transplanted 37 genotypes of *** into two common gardens across low and high elevations(2800 vs.3800 m)during *** fitness-related traits were measured,including flowering probability and glucosinolates(GS)*** estimated the environmental or genotypic contributions to the phenotype and identified the main environmental *** results revealed that both environment and genotype-by-environment interactions contributed to the phenotypes of *** heterogeneity was identified as a key factor that explained 24%of the total phenotypic *** particular,genotypes of the northern HDM showed significantly higher plasticity in flowering probability than those of the southern ***,within the southern HDM,GS content indicated local adaptation to herbivory stresses for *** genotypes along *** conclusion,our results suggest that *** may have adapted to the alpine environment through species-level plasticity or regional-level local *** processes were shaped by either complex topography or interactions between genotype and mountain *** study provides empirical evidence on the adaptation of alpine plants.

BACKGROUND Tourette syndrome(TS)is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by the presence of motor and vocal tics,typically beginning in *** signifi-cant research efforts,the exact pathophysiology of TS remains incompletely *** studies suggest that inflammation may play a role in the severity and progression of TS,pointing to the potential influence of dietary and lifestyle factors on the ***,research on the specific connection between dietary inflammatory index(DII)and TS is still in its early stages,requir-ing additional clinical and epidemiological studies to validate the strength and specific mechanisms of this *** A total of 207 children diagnosed with TS in the pediatric department of Qingdao Chengyang People’s Hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were *** were divided into stable and unstable groups based on follow-up *** enrollment,general information of the children[age,gender,body mass index(BMI),guardian’s education level,DII score,medical history,family history,academic stress,electronic device usage,medication,and disease progression]was assessed,and serum inflammatory levels were measured during follow-up *** scores and Yale Global Tic Severity Scale(YGTSS)scores were ***,based on YGTSS scores,the children were classified into mild,moderate,and severe *** DII,interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP),and tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)levels in each group were *** Follow-up surveys were completed by 207 children and their *** them,117 children were in the stable group,and 90 were in the recurrent *** found no statistically significant differences in age,gender,comorbidities,BMI,and disease duration between the two groups(P>0.05).However,academic stress,electronic device usage,medication,guardian’s education level,and DII scores showed statistically significant differences between the groups(P
