A chemically closed-loop-recyclable biodegradable polymer,poly(p-dioxanone)(PPDO),is one of the ideal candidates for single-use plastic products due to its suitability for different application ***,when PPDO wastes can be collected,its monomer p-dioxanone(PDO) will be obtained through chemical recycling of these wastes;when cannot be collected,the wastes are able to be biodegraded into harmless ***,unsatisfied thermal stability and low crystallization rate of PPDO restrict its wider ***,based on end-group regulation,we simultaneously realized the significant enhancement of thermal stability and crystallization of PPDO through the simple melt processing with tributyl phosphite(TBP) or triphenyl phosphite(TPP).The model reactions were conducted to investigate the reaction mechanism and theoretical products during the preparation of PPDO/phosphite *** kinds of phosphites were proved to act as the end-capped reagent and chain extender in the melt processing,while TBP presented better *** a result,the activation energy of thermal decomposition was largely elevated,and the unprecedented T_(5%)(the temperature at a weight loss of 5%) and Tmax(the temperature at a maximum rate of weight loss) of PPDO were obtained,i.e.,T_(5%)of ~330 ℃ and Tmaxof ~385 ℃ in N_(2) atmosphere,T_(5%)of ~240 ℃ and Tmaxof ~317 ℃ in air atmosphere,***,the increased crystallization rate,crystallinity,crystalline orderliness,and realizable monomer recovery(yield >90%,purity >99.9%) of PPDO/phosphite compounds were confirmed.

BACKGROUND Drug-induced liver injury(DILI)is one of the most common adverse events of medication use,and its incidence is ***,early detection of DILI is a crucial challenge due to a lack of biomarkers and noninvasive *** To identify salivary metabolic biomarkers of DILI for the future development of noninvasive diagnostic *** Saliva samples from 31 DILI patients and 35 healthy controls(HCs)were subjected to untargeted metabolomics using ultrahigh-pressure liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass *** analyses,including partial least squares-discriminant analysis modeling,t tests and weighted metabolite coexpression network analysis(WMCNA),were conducted to identify key differentially expressed metabolites(DEMs)and metabolite *** we utilized least absolute shrinkage and selection operato and random fores analyses for biomarker *** use of each metabolite and metabolite set to detect DILI was evaluated with area under the receiver operating characteristic *** We found 247 differentially expressed salivary metabolites between the DILI group and the HC *** WMCNA,we identified a set of 8 DEMs closely related to liver injury for further prediction ***,the distinct separation of DILI patients and HCs was achieved with five metabolites,namely,12-hydroxydodecanoic acid,3-hydroxydecanoic acid,tetradecanedioic acid,hypoxanthine,and inosine(area under the curve:0.733-1).CONCLUsiON Salivary metabolomics revealed previously unreported metabolic alterations and diagnostic biomarkers in the saliva of DILI *** study may provide a potentially feasible and noninvasive diagnostic method for DILI,but further validation is needed.

NQO1 Mediates Lenvatinib Resistance by Regulating ROS-induced Apoptosis in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Development of RPA-Cas12a-fluorescence assay for rapid and reliable detection of human bocavirus 1

Human bocavirus(HBoV)1 is considered an important pathogen that mainly affects infants aged 6–24 months,but preventing viral transmission in resource-limited regions through rapid and affordable on-site diagnosis of individuals with early infection of HBoV1 remains somewhat ***,we present a novel faster,lower cost,reliable method for the detection of HBoV1,which integrates a recombinase polymerase amplification(RPA)assay with the CRISPR/Cas12a system,designated the RPA-Cas12a-fluorescence *** RPA-Cas12a-fluorescence system can specifically detect target gene levels as low as 0.5 copies of HBoV1 plasmid DNA per microliter within 40 min at 37℃without the need for sophisticated *** method also demonstrates excellent specificity without cross-reactivity to non-target ***,the method was appraised using 28 clinical samples,and displayed high accuracy with positive and negative predictive agreement of 90.9%and 100%,***,our proposed rapid and sensitive HBoV1 detection method,the RPA-Cas12a-fluorescence assay,shows promising potential for early on-site diagnosis of HBoV1 infection in the fields of public health and health *** established RPA-Cas12a-fluorescence assay is rapid and reliable method for human bocavirus 1 *** RPA-Cas12a-fluorescence assay can be completed within 40 min with robust specificity and sensitivity of 0.5 copies/μl.
