A （2 ＋ 1）-dimensional generalized Bogoyavlensky-Konopelchenko equation that possesses a Hirota bilinear form is considered. Starting with its Hirota bilinear form, a class of explicit lump solutions is computed through conducting symbolic computations with Maple, and a few plots of a specific presented lump solution are made to shed light on the characteristics of lumps. The result provides a new example of （2 ＋ 1）-dimensional nonlinear partial differential equations which possess lump solutions.

The main purpose of this thesis is in analyzing and empirically simulating risk minimizing European foreign exchange option pricing and hedging strategy when the spot foreign exchange rate is governed by a Markov-modulated jump-diffusion model. The domestic and foreign money market interest rates, the drift and the volatility of the exchange rate dynamics all depend on a continuous-time hidden Markov chain which can be interpreted as the states of a macro-economy. In this paper, we will provide a practical lognormal diffusion dynamic of the spot foreign exchange rate for market practitioners. We employing the minimal martingale measure to demonstrate a system of coupled partial-differential-integral equations satisfied by the currency option price and attain the corresponding hedging schemes and the residual risk. Numerical simulations of the double exponential jump diffusion regime-switching model are used to illustrate the different effects of the various parameters on currency option prices.

This paper demonstrates that,for a moist baroclinic frontal system,the large-value deformation belt in the low-level atmosphere overlaps with *** precisely describe the relationship between deformation and heavy precipitation,deformation is introduced into the nongeostrophic Q^#-vector.Q^#is then decomposed into three parts:the divergence-related term,the vorticity-related term,and the deformation-related *** calculating the divergence of Q#and its components,it is found that in strong ascending areas within precipitation regions the nongeostrophic Q^#-vector divergence shows strong negative *** deformational component can contribute about 68%to these negative *** verifies that strong deformation in a precipitating atmosphere is favorable for the development of convection and *** addition,by calculating the correlation coefficients between the Q^#-vector(including its components)divergence and vertical motions,it is also found that the Q^#-vector divergence shows higher correlation with vertical motion within the precipitation belt and lower correlation in the non-precipitation areas,which indicates a larger contribution of Q^#to vertical motion when precipitation occurs and implies an effect of Q^#to the precipitation distribution or spatial *** the three components of the Q^#-vector,the correlation coefficients between the deformational component and vertical motion are the most similar in pattern to that of the correlation coefficients between the Q#-vector and vertical motion,which further reflects the important contribution of deformation to the large spatial variability of precipitation.

AIM:To investigate the relaxant effect of chromane HEF-19 on colonic smooth muscles isolated from rabbits,and the underlying ***:The relaxant effect and action mechanisms of HEF-19 were investigated using descending colon smooth muscle of the *** 1 cm long were mounted in 15-mL tissue baths containing Tyrode’s solution,maintained at 37±0.5℃and aerated with a mixture of 5%CO2in oxygen(Carbogen).The tension and amplitude of the smooth muscle strips were recorded after adding HEF-19(10-6,10-5and 10-4mol/L).After cumulative administration of four antispasmodic agents,including acetylcholine chloride(Ach)(10-4mol/L),histamine(10-4mol/L),high-K+(60 mmol/L)and BaCl2(8.2 mmol/L),HEF-19(3×10-7-3×10-4mol/L)was added to investigate the relaxant effect of ***2(10-4-2.5×10-3mol/L)was added cumulatively to the smooth muscle preparations pretreated with and without HEF-19(1×10-6or 3×10-6mol/L)and verapamil(1×10-7mol/L)to study the mechanisms ***,phasic contraction was induced with ACh(15×10-6mol/L),and CaCl2(4×10-3mol/L)was added to the smooth muscle preparations pretreated with and without HEF-19(3×10-6mol/L or 1×10-5mol/L)and verapamil(1×10-7mol/L)in calcium-free medium to further study the underlying ***:HEF-19(1×10-6,1×10-5and 1×10-4mol/L)suppressed spontaneous contraction of rabbit colonic smooth ***-19(3×10-7-3×10-4mol/L)relaxed in a concentration-dependent manner colonic smooth muscle preparations pre-contracted with BaCl2,high-K+solution,Ach or histamine with respective EC50values of 5.15±0.05,5.12±0.08,5.58±0.16and 5.25±0.24,thus showing a spasmolytic ***-19(1×10-6mol/L and 3×10-6mol/L)shifted the concentration-response curves of CaCl2to the right and depressed the maximum response to *** two components contracted by Ach were attenuated with HEF-19(3×10-6mol/L or 10-5mol/L)in calcium-free ***:HEF-19 inhibited rabbit colonic smooth muscle contraction,probably through in

Bilinear forms of the coupled Gerdjikov–Ivanov equation are derived. The $N$-soliton solutions to the equation are obtained by Hirota＇s method. It is interesting that the two-soliton solutions can generate the rogue-wave-like phenomena by selecting special parameters. The equation can be reduced to the Gerdjikov–Ivanov equation as well as its bilinear forms and its solutions.

An approximation of the orography gravity wave, which is induced by mountainous topography, is considered in this study. By assuming that the horizontal wind is a linear function with respect to the height, the approximating equation for the orography gravity waves is obtained. Four topography functions are considered in this study and the orography gravity wave are obtained. The dynamics of the orography gravity wave is then discussed by considering the effect of the surface topography and background horizontal wind.

Heavy precipitation events occur often over the western Sichuan Basin in summer, near the transition zone between the Sichuan Basin and the steep terrain of the Tibetan Plateau. One such event -- a heavy precipitation process that occurred on 18-20 August 2010, with clear nocturnal peaks -- is chosen as a case to tentatively explore how the convection associated with convectivescale precipitation is initiated and propagated. By utilizing the vertical momentum equation from the viewpoint of separating perturbation pressure into dynamic and thermal parts, it is demonstrated that the vertical momentum is induced by the imbalance of several forces, including the dynamic/buoyant part of the perturbation pressure gradient force and the buoyancy force, with the latter dominating during the nocturnal-peak period. Although a negative value of the dynamic perturbation pressure gradient force partly offsets the positive buoyant forcing inside the strong updraft, the pattern of vertical motion tendency is largely attributable to its buoyancy because of its larger magnitude. Relative to the buoyancy component, the dynamic part of the vertical perturbation pressure gradient is also examined, revealing a smaller order of magnitude. Thus, it is the thermal effect that should be responsible for the initiation and propagation of convection. As for the convective-scale precipitation, it always presents a trailing morphology relative to the strong leading-side updraft. Furthermore, overlapping strong signals of vertical motion and its tendency point towards strong precipitation in the future.
