Studies have proposed that there is evidence for cosmological coupling of black holes(BHs)with an index of k≈3;hence,BHs serve as the astrophysical source of dark ***,the data sample is limited for the redshifts of≤*** recent years,the James Webb Space Telescope(JWST)has detected many high-redshift active galactic nuclei(AGNs)and *** the JWST NIRSpec-/NIRCam-resolved AGNs,three are determined to be in early-type host galaxies with a redshift of z~***,their m_(*)and mBH are in tension with the predicted cosmological coupling of black holes with k=3 at a confidence level of~2σ,which challenges the hypothesis that BHs serve as the origin of dark *** work on high-redshift AGNs using the JWST will further assess such a hypothesis by identifying more early-type host galaxies in the higher mass range.

To reduce the usage of classical lubricants in deep drawing,a new tribological system based on volatile lubricants was ***,a volatile medium is injected under high pressure into the interstice between drawing tool and sheet *** on temperature and pressure,the temporary lubricant may exist in its gaseous or liquid *** this study,a novel high fluid pressure tribometer was designed to investigate the friction and wear of dry steel contacts under comparable conditions like in dry deep ***,a new ball-on-disc tribometer was designed and integrated into a high-pressure *** specifically investigate the effects of different environments(technical air,liquid and gaseous carbon dioxide,nitrogen,argon)at atmospheric and high pressure(0.1 mPa,6 mPa)on tribology,the specimens and all components were operatin. *** the experiments,the friction was measured *** show that the highest friction occurs in air and the lowest in carbon dioxide *** to the experiments,the wear of the specimens was assessed along with changes in surface chemistry related to tribochemical ***,the tribology of the dry sliding contacts is correlated to changes of the surface *** differences as well as similarities regarding the different fluid environments are *** the results show,the differences between the media used are most pronounced at elevated ***,this work gives clear indications on the suitability of volatile lubricants in dry friction or rather gas lubrication,especially for dry deep drawing.

A nine cyclic peptide(TCP-1)showed excellent specificity for colon ***-1 binds with human tumor tissues at early stages and mice tumor with diameters of 1-4 mm,suggestin. that TCP-1 may be used for early diagnosis of colon *** mechanism of the targeted binding of TCP-1 to colon cancer was also studied using immunoprecipitation,LC-mS and *** screening and identifying of the possible binding target proteins of TCP-1,keratin.typeⅡcytoskeletal 5 was speculated to be the specific binding target protein of TCP-1 in human tumor *** studies were conducted to investigate the target-mediated drug disposition of the new tumor-specific peptide by LC-mS/*** tissue distribution study showed that TCP-1 was found only in colon tumors(the target site)in tumor mice did not bind to any other *** TCP-1 to tumor markedly increased its removal rate from blood circulation but mildly extended its staying time in *** tumor mice,a lower AUC of TCP-1(reduced by almost 35%)and 2-fold higher clearance were found compared to that of normal *** proposed metabolic pathway of TCP-1 in the kidney was also determined using LC-mS^(n)-*** high specificity and low toxicity of the peptide may be caused by its extremely tight binding to the *** applications for future clinical use,including mRI and PET/CT were also explored,and this research may promote the development of colon cancer diagnostic technology research and provide new ideas and technical routes for tumor diagnostic technology.

The Orthopoxvirus genus,especially variola virus(VARV),monkeypox virus(mPXV),remains a significant public health threat *** development of therapeutic antibodies against orthopoxviruses is largely hampered by the high cost of antibody engineering and manufacturing ***-encoded antibodies have emerged as a powerful and universal platform for rapid antibody ***,by using the established lipid nanoparticle(LNP)-encapsulated mRNA platform,we constructed four mRNA combinations that encode monoclonal antibodies with broad neutralization activities against *** vivo characterization demonstrated that a single intravenous injection of each LNP-encapsulated mRNA antibody in mice resulted in the rapid production of neutralizing *** importantly,mRNA antibody treatments showed significant protection from weight loss and mortality in the vaccinia virus(VACV)lethal challenge mouse model,and a unique mRNA antibody cocktail,mix2a,exhibited superior in vivo protection by targetin. both intracellular mature virus(ImV)-form and extracellular enveloped virus(EEV)-form *** summary,our results demonstrate the proof-of-concept production of orthopoxvirus antibodies via the LNP-mRNA platform,highlightin. the great potential of tailored mRNA antibody combinations as a universal strategy to combat orthopoxvirus as well as otheremerging viruses.

mesoscopic superconductin. islands hostin. majorana zero modes(mZms), or majorana islands in short, offer a prototype of topological qubits. In this work we investigate theoretically the model of a generic majorana island tunneling-coupled to a singlepiece metallic substrate, hence an embedded majorana island. We show the crucial consequences of an interplay between the topological ground states nonlocally addressed by the mZms and the metallic bath with coherent electron propagation: on the one hand, the topological degeneracy on the majorana island can be preserved, by virtue of the particle-hole symmetry, despite the apparent bath-induced coupling between mZms; on the other hand, the electronic interference in the metallic bath may lead to profound alterations to the renormalization group behavior of the hybrid system towards low energy/temperature compared with conventional Kondo physics. This work serves to establish the model of embedded majorana islands as an experimentally relevant and theoretically intriguing problem particularly in the direction of topological quantum computation.

Antimicrobial resistance(AmR)has emerged as a significant challenge in human *** treatment plants(WWTPs),actin. as a link between human activities and the environment,create ideal conditions for the selection and spread of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)and antibioticresistant bacteria(ARB).Unfortunately,current treatment processes are ineffective in removing ARGs,resultin. in the release of large quantities of ARB and ARGs into the aquatic environment through WWTP ***,in turn,leads to their dispersion and potential transmission to human through water and the food *** safeguard human and environmental health,it is crucial to comprehend the mechanisms by which WWTP effluent discharge influences the distribution and diffusion of ARGs in downstream *** this study,we examine the latest researches on the antibiotic resistome in various waterbodies that have been exposed to WWTP effluent,highlightin. the key influencing ***,recommendations for future research and management strategies to control the dissemination of ARGs from WWTPs to the environment are provided,with the aim to achieve the“One Health”objective.

In recent years,researchers have investigated the evaporation of Schwarzschild black holes using various forms of the generalized uncertainty principle(GUP),metric quantum correction,and noncommutative geometry,***,there are differences between the GUP correction and the other two methods in terms of describing the later stages of black hole ***,some studies argue that the GUP with a negative parameter cannot effectively correct black hole evaporation,while others contend that the positivity or negativity of the GUP parameters should not affect the correction *** the above into consideration,we reconsider black hole evaporation with the generalized uncertainty principle including a linear term(LGUP),and examine the case of negative *** results indicate that the evaporation behavior of both Schwarzschild black holes and Reissner–Nordstr?m black holes,under LGUP correction,is consistent with the results of metric quantum correction and non-commutative ***,the negative parameter LGUP can also effectively correct for black hole evaporation.

Recently,it has been realized that in some systems internal space rotation can induce energy amplification for scattered waves,similar to rotation in real *** particularly,it has been shown that energy extraction is possible for a Q-ball,a stationary non-topological soliton that is coherently rotatin. in its field *** this paper,we generalize the analysis to the case of boson stars,and show that the same energy extraction mechanism still works for boson stars.
