A Au/Bi4Ti3O12/n-Si structure is fabricated in order to investigate its current voltage （IV） characteristics in a temperature range of 300 K-400 K. Obtained I-V data are evaluated by the thermionic emission （TE） theory. Zero-bias barrier height （Ф0） and ideality factor （n） calculated from I-V characteristics, are found to be temperature-dependent such that ФB0 increases with temperature increasing, whereas n decreases. The obtained temperature dependence of ФB0 and linearity in ФB0 versus the n plot, together with a lower barrier height and Richardson constant values obtained from the Richardson plot, indicate that the barrier height of the structure is inhomogeneous in nature. Therefore, I-V characteristics are explained on the basis of Caussian distribution of barrier height.

We present a photometric analysis of the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite(TESS)light curve of contact binary system DY Cet and the behavior of its orbital period *** light curve and published radial velocity data analysis was performed using the Wilson-Devinney *** a result of simultaneous analysis of the light curve with radial velocity data,the masses and radii of the system’s components were determined as m_(1)=1.55±0.02 m_(⊙),m_(2)=0.55±0.01 m_(⊙) and R_(1)=1.51±0.02 R_(⊙),R_(2)=0.95±0.02 R_(⊙),*** degree of contact(f)and mass ratio(q)of the system were determined as 23%and 0.355±0.012,*** period analysis of DY Cet was conducted for the first time in this *** was observed that the orbital period has a sinusoidal change with decreasing *** explain the orbital period change,mass transfer between components is proposed with the assumption of conservative mass,and the transfer rate was calculated to be dm/dt=1.1×10^(-7) m_(⊙)yr^(-1).A possible third component is suggested for explaining the sinusoidal change,and the mass of the unseen component was determined as 0.13 m_(⊙).The age of the DY Cet system was estimated as 3.77 Gyr.

Polypropylene （PP）/titanium dioxide （TiO2） nano-composites were prepared by melt compounding with a twin screw extruder. Nanoparticles were modified prior to melt mixing with maleic anhydride grafted styreneethylene-butylene-styrene （SEBS-g-mA） and silane. The composites were injection molded and mechanical tests were applied to obtain tensile strength, elastic modulus and impact strength. Antibacterial efficiency test was applied on the injection molded composite plaques by viable cell counting technique. The results showed that the composites including SEBS-g-mA and silane coated TiO2 gave better mechanical properties than the composites without SEBS-g-mA. Antibacterial efficiency of the composites varied according to the dispersion and the concentration of the particles and it was observed that composites at low content of TiO2 showed higher antibacterial property due to the better photocatalytic activity of the particles during UV exposure.

There have been several developments in determining the spontaneous combustion liability of coal. most of the methods of concern have purely been based on the internal properties of the coal itself. The relation between the crossing-point method and the electrical resistance of coal was examined here to outline the spontaneous combustion tendency of coal, The electrical resistance property of coal was looked into as a decision-making parameter of the interaction matrix concept for the final decision on the spontaneous combustion tendency.

Rapid deglaciation is one of the most important challenges in the Earth science *** reason of this is specific supraglacial sediments–cryoconites,which represent carbon-containing dust with organomineral matter and living *** of physical and chemical characteristics of cryoconites in the Central Caucasus is necessary in order to understand their influence on alpine territories biogeochemical cycles,pollution and development in conditions of intensive glacial melting and active anthropogenic *** this research cryoconites as well as moraines,soil-like bodies and soils have been sampled from the alpine Bezengi Glacier and adjacent Khulamo-Bezengi *** physicochemical features(pH values,total organic carbon content,microbial respiration,particle-size distribution)as well as content of trace elements have been defined in sampled materials and several pollution indices(Geoaccumulation index,Contamination factor and Degree of pollution)have been *** obtained show low values of total organic carbon in cryoconites(max.0.23%)but high values(max.7.54%)in top horizon of soils located in floodplain,indicating its active fluvioglacial transfer which may further accelerate the development of *** activity in the studied soils was mostly influenced by additional input of labile organic carbon from cryoconites with water ***-size distribution was similar among the studied cryoconites,indicating dominance of sand fraction(up to 85.28%)while studied soils showed higher variability due to influence of *** the trace elements,cryoconites were mostly polluted by Zn(max.85.70 mg·kg^(-1))which corresponds to high pollution according to pollution indices;Pb(max.24.90 mg·kg^(-1))and Cu(max.17.40 mg·kg^(-1)),up to moderate pollution *** of polluted cryoconite material as well as local anthropogenic activities increased pollution of periglacial soils by Zn(max.89.20 mg·kg^(-1)),Pb(m
