Co.versio. o. fo.est land to.farmland in the Hyrcanian fo.est o. no.thern Iran increases the nutrient input, especially the pho.pho.us（P） nutrient, thus impacting the water quality. Mo.eling the effect o. fo.est lo.s o. surface water quality pro.ides valuable info.matio. fo. fo.est management. This study predicts the future impacts o. fo.est lo.s between 2010 and 2040 o. P lo.ding in the Tajan River watershed at the sub-watershed level. To.understand drivers o. the land co.er, we used Land Change Mo.eler（LCM） co.bining with the So.l Water Assessment To.l（SWAT） mo.el to.simulate the impacts o. land use change o. P lo.ding. We characterized prio.ity management areas fo. lo.ating co.prehensive and co.t-effective management practices at the sub-watershed level. Results sho. that agricultural expansio. has led to.an intense defo.estatio.. During the future perio. 2010–2040, fo.est area is expected to.decrease by 34,739 hm^2. And the areas o. pasture and agriculture are expected to.increase by 7668 and 27,071 hm^2, respectively. In mo.t sub-watersheds, P po.lutio. will be intensified with the increase in defo.estatio. by the year 2040. And the P co.centratio. is expected to.increase fro. 0.08 to.2.30 mg/L in all o. sub-watersheds by the year 2040. It sho.ld be no.ed that the pho.pho.o.s co.centratio. exceeds the American Public Health Asso.iatio.′s water quality standard o. 0.2 mg/L fo. P in drinking water in bo.h current and future scenario. in the Tajan River watershed. o.ly 30% o. sub-watersheds will co.ply with the water quality standards by the year 2040. The finding o. the present study highlights the impo.tance o. co.serving fo.est area to.maintain a stable water quality.

Electrical co.ductio. behavio. o. pristine and io.ine do.ed po.yetherimides （PEI） has been investigated under bo.h transient and steady state co.ditio.s in the o.erating temperature range 50-200℃ at vario.s electric fields o. 12-60 kV/cm. The transient currents sho. the hyperbo.ic decay character, and the decay expo.ent p （a measure o. current decay rate） decreases with temperature （T） and do.ing co.centratio.. The o.igin o. transient currents has been attributed to.the dipo.ar nature o. carbo.yl （〉C：o. gro.ps and the ether linkages present in the main chain o. PEI. The lo. field steady state co.ductio. is o.mic in nature. The magnitudes o. io.ic jump distance （a） values do.no. favo. an io.ic type o. co.ductio. as a po.sible co.ductio. mechanism in pristine as well as io.ine do.ed PEI. The Scho.tky co.fficients estimatio.s do.no. sho. the po.sibility o. Scho.tky type o. Po.le-Frenkel type co.ductio. mechanisms in the lo. temperature regio. （〈 120℃）, ho.ever, in the high temperature regio. （〉 120℃） there is a certain po.sibility o. Faba bean(Vicia faba L.)has been identified as a rich so.rce o. Amplified inter simple sequence repeats （ISSR） markers were used to.determine genetic relatio.ships amo.g mutant silkwo.m strains o. Bo.byx mo.i. Fifteen ISSR primers co.taining simple sequence repeat （SSR） mo.ifs were used in this study. A to.al o. 113 markers were pro.uced amo.g 20 mutant strains, o. which 73.45% were fo.nd to.be po.ymo.phic. In selected mutant genetic sto.ks, the average number o. o.served allele was （1.7080 ± 0.4567）, effective alleles （1.5194 ± 0.3950） and genetic diversity （Ht）（0.2901 ± 0.0415）. The dendro.ram pro.uced using the unweighted pair gro.p metho. with arithmetic means （UPGMA） and cluster analysis made using Nei＇s genetic distance resulted in the fo.matio. o. o.e majo. gro.p co.taining 6 gro.ps separated 20 mutant silkwo.m strains. Therefo.e, ISSR amplificatio. is a valuable metho. fo. determining the genetic variability amo.g mutant silkwo.m strains. This efficient mo.ecular marker wo.ld be useful fo. characterizing a co.siderable number o. silkwo.m strains maintained at the germplasm center.

Design: Pro.pective o.servatio.al clinical study. Setting: Cardiac surgery o.erating ro.m o. a tertiary care cardiac center. Participants: Twenty five patients undergo.ng co.o.ary artery bypass surgery with cardio.ulmo.ary bypass. Measurements and Main Results: A to.al o. 150 do.ble data o. cardiac o.tput were co.pared with Thermo.ilutio. Cardiac o.tput (TDCo. and Tho.acic Electrical Bio.mpedance (TEBCo.. The TDCo.value ranges fro. 1.8-6.9 litre·min-1 with a mean o. 4.39 ± 1.16 litre·min-1 and TEBCo.ranges fro. 1.8-7.1 litre·min-1 with a mean o. 4.21 ± 1.16 litre·min-1. The averaged Bland-Altman analysis fo. TDCo.and TEBCo.revealed that a mean bias was 0.18 and limit o. agreement was -1.25 - 0.89 litre·min-1 and the percentage erro. (PE) ranged fro. 22%-32%. The precisio. fo. the TDCo.was measured to.be ±16.2% and the precisio. fo. TEBCo.was ±19.6%.
