In this paper, we investigate the Gross-Pitaevskii (GP) equation whic. desc.ibes the propagation of an elec.ron plasma wave pac.et with a large wavelength and small amplitude in a medium with a parabolic.density and c.nstant interac.ional damping by the c.variant Prolongation Struc.ure Theory. As a result, we obtain general forms of Lax-Pair representations. In addition, some hidden struc.ural symmetries that govern the dynamic. of the GP equation suc. as SL(2,R), SL(2,c., Virasoro algebra, SU(1,1) and SU(2) are unearthed. Using the Ric.ati form of the linear eigenvalue problem, infinite number of c.nservation laws of the GP equation is explic.tly c.nstruc.ed and the exac. analytic.l soliton solutions are obtained by employing the simple and straightforward Hirota’s bilinear method.

Modulational instability c.nditions for the generation of loc.lized struc.ures in the c.ntext of matter waves in Bose-Einstein c.ndensates are investigated analytic.lly and numeric.lly. The model is based on a modified Gross-Pitaevskii equation, whic. ac.ount for the energy dependenc. of the two-body sc.ttering amplitude. It is shown that the modified term due to the quantum fluc.uations modify signific.ntly the modulational instability gain. Direc. numeric.l simulations of the full modified Gross-Pitaevskii equation are performed, and it is found that the modulated plane wave evolves into a train of pulses, whic. is destroyed at longer times due to the effec.s of quantum fluc.uations.

In this paper, we investigate the Rotating N Loop-Soliton solution of the c.upled integrable dispersionless equation (c.DE) that desc.ibes a c.rrent-fed string within an external magnetic.field in 2D-spac.. Through a set of independent variable transformation, we derive the bilinear form of the c.DE Equation. Based on the Hirota’s method, Perturbation tec.nique and Symbolic.c.mputation, we present the analytic.N-rotating loop soliton solution and proc.ed to some illustrations by presenting the c.ses of three- and four-soliton solutions.

The prolongation struc.ure methodologies of Wahlquist-Estabrook [H.D. Wahlquist and F.B. Estabrook, J. Math. Phys. 16 （1975） 1] for nonlinear differential equations are applied to a more general set of c.upled integrable dispersionless system. Based on the obtained prolongation struc.ure, a Lie-Algebra valued c.nnec.ion of a c.osed ideal of exterior differential forms related to the above system is c.nstruc.ed. A Lie-Algebra representation of some hidden struc.ural symmetries of the previous system, its Biic.lund transformation using the Ric.ati form of the linear eigenvalue problem and their general c.rresponding Lax-representation are derived. In the wake of the previous results, we extend the above prolongation sc.eme to higher-dimensional systems from whic. a new （2 ＋ 1）-dimensional c.upled integrable dispersionless system is unveiled along with its inverse sc.ttering formulation, whic. applic.tions are straightforward in nonlinear optic. where additional propagating dimension deserves some attention.

In the wake of the rec.nt investigation of new c.upled integrable dispersionless equations by means of the Darboux transformation [Zhaqilao,et al.,***.B 18(2009) 1780],we c.rry out the initial value analysis of the previous system using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta's c.mputational *** a result,while depic.ing its phase portraits ac.ordingly,we show that the above dispersionless system ac.ually supports two kinds of solutions amongst whic. the loc.lized traveling wave-guide *** addition,paying partic.lar interests to suc. loc.lized struc.ures,we c.nstruc. the bilinear transformation of the c.rrent system from whic. sc.ttering amongst the above waves c.n be deeply studied.

In this study, wind c.arac.eristic. and wind power potential are analyzed for three meteorologic.l stations in the Sudanese zone of c.ad for the period of 35 years (from 1975 to 2010). Assessment of the wind power potential was c.rried out using the two parameters of Weibull distribution. Results of the study shows that the average annual wind speeds at 10 m above ground for Moundou, Pala and Sarh are 2.69, 2.33 and 1.91 m/s, respec.ively. The mean annual value of the Weibull shape parameter k and sc.le parameter c.range from 2.376 to 3.255 and 2.099 to 3.007, respec.ively. The maximum annual power density of 204.85 W/m2 was obtained at Moundou. Results of this study further shows that the selec.ed loc.tions are not suitable for large-sc.le wind energy produc.ion at 10 m altitude. However, by extrapolation, assessment of wind speed at 67 m altitude c.mbines with wind turbine Vestas 2 MW/80 that adapts to the Sudanese loc.l c.nditions, and the wind power potential c.n be exploited for water pumping, heating and produc.ion of elec.ric.ty.

Growth in arthropods in general and in insec.s in partic.lar, is supposed to be disc.ntinuous and oc.urs during moulting. In c.lic.dae in general and Anopheles in particular, the number of moults is five with the fourth which gives the pupae. It is known that moulting in insects is a genetic and physiological phenomenon. Most physiological reactions are triggered by chemical or physical stimuli. The pressure exerted by the growth of the larval body on the exocuticle is one of the triggers of moulting. The objective of this work was therefore to determine the exact timing of the first three moults that determine the growth of An. gambiae larvae from egg hatch to pupation to highlight the role of increased larval size in the stimulation of moulting. We therefore, undertook to rear larvae of this anopheline species in the laboratory under conditions close to their natural environment from hatching to pupation. The length and width of the head, thorax and abdomen were recorded daily. Data analysis showed that the size of the head and thorax remained constant for the first three days (D0 to D2) of development and abdomen’s length for the first two days and then increased daily until day seven (D7) when it stopped. These observations led us to say that the M1 moult occurs at end of the third day of development and the M3 moult at end of the eighth day;the M2 moult could not be determined.
