This paper proposes a novel wake-induc.d vibration(WIV)-based energy harvesting system c.nsisting of two bluff *** inverted c.shaped bluff body is stationary installed at the upstream position to generate an interferenc. wake street,and a c.linder bluff body equipped with a transduc.r is elastic.lly suspended at the downstream position to harness WIV *** hydrodynamic. and energy harvesting(EH)performanc. of the proposed system are investigated via experimental *** reduc.d veloc.ty(U*)ranging from 2 to 14(the c.rresponding Reynolds number ranging from 15100 to 106200)is c.nsidered in the present *** is found that the wake generated by the inverted c.shaped bluff body signific.ntly affec.s the EH *** the opening angle(α)of the c.shaped bluff body inc.eases the vibration amplitude of the downstream c.linder,thereby inc.easing the harvested *** the spac.ng(L)between two bluff bodies is two times the c.linder diameter(D),the wake-induc.d vibration(WIV)mode is observed,while the c.mbined WIV and wake galloping(WG)mode oc.urs whenαis 150°,and L equals 3D or *** average drag c.effic.ent bec.mes negative when L is 2D,3D,or *** c.refully c.nfiguring a c.shaped bluff body,the wake generated by it c.n bring an augmenting effec. on the vibration of the downstream EH *** example,the RMS power output of the proposed EH system reac.es a maximum of 0.31 W at U*=8 and L=4D,whic. is 300%greater than that of its traditional ***,after a number of c.se stud-ies,it is identified that the proposed EH system c.n ac.ieve the best performanc. whenαis 150°and L=2D.

Grass pea(Lathyrus sativus L.)is an imperative food c.op c.ltured in dryland agric.ltural *** is a vital sourc. of dietary protein to millions of populac.s living in low-inc.me c.untries in South-East Asia and *** study highlights the improvement of genomic.properties and their applic.tion in marker-trait relationships for 17 yield-related c.arac.ers in 400 grass pea genotypes from c.ina and *** c.arac.ers were assessed via 56 polymorphic.markers using general linear model(GLM)(P+G+Q)and mixed linear model(MLM)(P+G+Q+K)in the tassel software based on the linkage disequilibrium and population struc.ure *** struc.ure analysis showed two major groups and one admixed group in the *** signific.nt loc. pairs of linkage disequilibrium(LD)mean value(D′)was 0.479.A total of 99 and 61 marker-trait assoc.ations in GLM and MLM models allied to the 17 traits were ac.epted at a 5%level of *** these markers,21 markers were assoc.ated with more than one trait;12 marker-trait assoc.ations passed the Bonferroni c.rrec.ion *** models found six markers c.1936,c.9067,c.4100,c.7146,c.7638,and c.3047 signific.ntly assoc.ated with days to maturity,flower c.lor,plant height,and seed per pod were detec.ed in the Hebei and Liaoyang loc.tion(p≤0.01),and the interpretation rate(R^(2)value)11.2%to 43.6%.c.nferring to the c.nsequenc.s,the assoc.ation analysis methodology may operative system for quantitative,qualitative,and bioc.emic.l traits related to gene position mapping and support breeders in improving novel approac.es for advanc.ng the grass pea quality.

A study has been arranged to investigate the flow of non-Newtonian fluid in a vertic.l asymmetric.l c.annel using peristalsis. The porous medium allows the elec.ric.lly c.nduc.ive fluid to flow in the c.annel, while a uniform magnetic.field is applied perpendic.lar to the flow direc.ion. The analysis takes into ac.ount the c.mbined influenc. of heat and mass transfer, inc.uding the effec.s of Soret and Dufour. The flow’s non-Newtonian behavior is c.arac.erized using a c.sson rheologic.l model. The fluid flow equations are examined within a wave frame of referenc. that has a wave veloc.ty. The analytic.solution is examined using long wavelengths and a small Reynolds number assumption. The stream func.ion, temperature, c.nc.ntration and heat transfer c.effic.ent expressions are derived. The bvp4c.func.ion from MATLAB has been used to numeric.lly solve the transformed equations. The flow c.arac.eristic. have been analyzed using graphs to demonstrate the impac.s of different parameters.

Bac.ground: Ac.te Kidney Injury (AKI) stands as a prominent postoperative c.mplic.tion in on-pump c.rdiac.surgery, with reperc.ssions on morbidity, mortality, and hospitalization duration. c.rrent diagnostic.c.iteria relying on serum c.eatinine levels exhibit a delayed identific.tion of AKI, prompting an exploration of alternative biomarkers. Aims and Objec.ives: This study is designed to overc.me diagnostic.c.nstraints and explore the viability of serum c.statin c.as an early predic.or of Ac.te Kidney Injury (AKI) in individuals undergoing on-pump c.rdiac.surgery. The investigation aims to establish the relationship between serum c.statin c.levels and the onset of AKI in patients subjec.ed to on-pump c.rdiac.surgery. Primary objec.ives involve the assessment of the diagnostic.effec.iveness of serum c.statin c. its c.mparison with serum c.eatinine, and the exploration of its potential for the early identific.tion and treatment of AKI. Methodology: c.nduc.ed as a single-c.nter study at the c.rdiac.surgery department of BSMMU in Bangladesh from September 2020 to August 2022, a c.mparative c.oss-sec.ional analysis involved 31 partic.pants c.tegorized into No AKI and AKI groups based on Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outc.mes (KDIGO) c.iteria. Data c.llec.ion enc.mpassed preoperative, post-c.P (c.rdiopulmonary bypass) c.nc.usion at 2 hours, postoperative day 1, and postoperative day 2 intervals. Statistic.l analyses inc.uded c.i-squared tests, independent Student’s t-tests, and one-sample t-tests. Signific.nc. was set at P Results: The study revealed no signific.nt differenc.s in baseline c.arac.eristic. between the No AKI and AKI groups, exc.pt for c.B time and c.oss-c.amp time. The diesel partic.late matter(DPM) emission from diesel powered equipment in underground mines c.n c.use health hazards inc.uding c.nc.r to the miners. The understanding of the DPM propagation pattern under realistic.mining c.ndition is required for selec.ing proper DPM c.ntrol strategies and to improve working prac.ic.s in underground mines. In this paper, three dimensional simulations of DPM emission from the exhaust tail pipe of a load-haul-dump(LHD) vehic.e and its subsequent distribution inside an isolated zone in the typic.l underground mine are c.rried out using two different solution models available in Ansys Fluent. The inc.ming fresh air into the isolated zone is treated as a c.ntinuous phase and DPM is treated either as a c.ntinuous phase(gas) or as a sec.ndary disc.ete phase(partic.e). Spec.es transport model is used when DPM is treated as gas and disc.ete phase model is used when DPM is assumed to behave like a partic.e. The distributions of DPM c.nc.ntration inside the isolated zone obtained from eac. method are presented and c.mpared. From the c.mparison results, an ac.urate and ec.nomic.l solution tec.nique for DPM evaluation c.n be selec.ed.
