Single-atom catalyst has garnered widespread attention to mimic mature enzymes due to its well-defined atomic structure and coordination environments. However, since the carbon–carbon（C–C） coupling reactions require synergistic catalysis of multiple sites, single-atom catalysts suffer from insufficient active sites and unclear reaction mechanisms. Controlling the reaction intermediates in a precisely targeted pocket through careful metal–organic cage design is therefore crucial. Here, we prepare a tetrahedral [Cu6L4]-type boron–imidazolate cage integrating highly active Cu sites and optimized cavity, which exhibits enzyme like specific catalytic performance in electrochemical CO2reduction reaction（CO2RR） to enhance the selectivity of *** analyses and computational calculations suggest that the single Cu site together with neighboring boron–imidazolate ligands provides suitably synergistic effects that enable the energetically favorable formation of an *COCHO intermediate, a key step determining selectivity. As a result, the [Cu6L4]-type cage of BIC-145 achieves a Faradaic efficiency of 28% for C2H4maintaining an average current density of -3.54 mA cm-2over a 5-hour electrolysis period. This work represents the first example for studying single-metal site catalysts with ultra-low coordination numbers through the rational design of metal–organic cages.

Mitochondrial Rho-GTPase 1 (MIRO1) is an outer mitochondrial membrane protein which regulates mitochondrial transport and mitophagy in mitosis. In present study, we reported the crucial roles of MIRO1 in mammalian oocyte meiosis and its potential relationship with aging. We found that MIRO1 expressed in mouse and porcine oocytes, and its expression decreased in aged mice. MIRO1 deficiency caused the failure of meiotic resumption and polar body extrusion in both mouse and porcine oocytes, which could be rescued by exogenous MIRO1supplementation. Mass spectrometry data indicated that MIRO1 associated with several cytoskeleton and cell cycle-related proteins, and MIRO1 regulated motor protein Dynein for microtubule-organizing centers (MTOCs) dynamics at germinal vesicle (GV) stage, which determined meiotic resumption. Furthermore, we found that MIRO1 regulated Aurora A and kinesin family member 11 (KIF11) for meiotic spindle assembly in oocytes. Besides, MIRO1 associated with several mitochondria-related proteins dynamic-related protein 1 (DRP1),Parkin and lysosomal-associated membrane protein 2 (LAMP2) for mitochondrial dynamics and mitophagy during oocyte meiosis. Taken together, our results suggested that MIRO1 played pivotal roles in meiotic resumption, spindle assembly and mitochondrial function in mouse and porcine oocytes, and its insufficiency might contribute to the oocyte maturation defects during aging.

The development in research, production, applications, and national standards of Chinese duplex stainless steel （DSS） in recent years was introduced in light of the worldwide development in the field of DSS. The results showed that the output of Chinese DSS increased greatly, and at the same time its grade gradually evolved into a collaborative developing series including the main grade type 2205 and other DSS types in recent years. Economical DSS and super DSS underwent rapid development, especially after 2010. In re- cent years, the application of Chinese DSS has been expanded further not only in traditional application ar- eas such as the petrochemical industry, but also in diverse new fields such as oil and gas transportation, chemical tanker manufacturing, nuclear power plants, and construction. Moreover, due to the increase in output and improvement in quality, as well as applications in Chinese projects, Chinese DSS has also been exported to the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and other regions.

Shape memory polymers （SMPs） as one type of the most important smart materials have attracted increasing attention due to their promising application in the field of biomedicine, textiles, aerospace et al. Following a brief intoduction of the conception and classification of SMPs, this review is focused on the progress of shape memory polymers for biomedical applications. The progress includes the early researches based on thermo-induced SMPs, the improvement of the stimulus, the development of shape recovery ways and the expansion of the applications in biomedical field. In addition, future perspectives of SMPs in the field of biomedicine are also discussed.

Urban water-related problems associated with rapid urbanization, including waterlogging, water pollution, the ecological degradation of water, and water shortages, have caused global concerns in recent years. In 2013, in order to mitigate increasingly severe urban water-related problems, China set forth a new strategy for integrated urban water management(IUWM) called the "Sponge City". This is the first holistic IUWM strategy implemented in a developing country that is still undergoing rapid urbanization, and holds promise for application in other developing countries. This paper aims to comprehensively summarize the sponge city. First, this paper reviews prior studies and policies on urban water management in China as important background for the sponge city proposal. Then, the connotations, goals, and features of the sponge city are summarized and ***, the challenges, research needs, and development directions pertinent to the sponge city are discussed based on investigations and studies conducted by the authors. The sponge city in China has a short history—given this, there are many issues that should be examined with regard to the stepwise implementation of the Sponge City Programme(SCP). Accordingly, the authors perceive this study as only the beginning of abundant studies on the sponge city.

Recently,metal-graphene nanocomposite system has aroused much interest due to its radiation tolerance ***,the related atomic mechanism for the metal-graphene interface is still ***,stainless steels with Fe as main matrix are widely used in nuclear ***,in this study,the atomic behaviors of point defects and helium(He) atoms at the Fe(110)-graphene interface are investigated systematically by first principles *** results indicate that graphene interacts strongly with the Fe(110) *** comparison with those of the original graphene and bulk Fe,the formation energy values of C vacancies and Fe point defects decrease significantly for Fe(110)-***,as He atoms have a high migration barrier and large binding energy at the interface,they are trapped at the interface once they enter into *** theoretical results suggest that the Fe(110)-graphene interface acts as a strong sink that traps defects,suggesting the potential usage of steel-graphene with multiply interface structures for tolerating the radiation damage.

We introduce the predictive control theory into predictive control algorithm based on a neural network model the study of chaos control and propose a direct optimizing The proposed control system stabilizes the chaotic motion in an unknown chaotic system onto the desired target trajectory. Compared with the existing similar algorithms, the proposed control system has faster response, so it requires much shorter time for the stabilization of the chaotic systems. The proposed approach can control hyperchaos and the algorithm is simple. The convergence of the control algorithm and the stability of the control system can be guaranteed. The theoretic analysis and simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.

A multi-modal action control approach is proposed for an autonomous soccer robot when the bottom hardware is unchangeable. Different from existing methods, the proposed control approach defines actions with the principle of ＂perception-planning-action＂ inspired by human intelligence. Character extraction is used to divide the perception input into different modes. Different control modes are built by combining different control methods for the linear velocity and angular velocity. Based on production rules, the motion control is realized by connecting different perceptions to the corresponding control mode. Simulation and real experiments are conducted with the middle-sized robot Frontier-I, and the proposed method is compared with a proportional-integral-derivative （PID） control method to display its feasibility and performance. The results show that the multi-modal action control method can make robots react rapidly in a dynamic environment.

District energy systems(DESs)have become a popular form of satisfying comprehensive energy demands for different types of loads in multiple local *** DFISs,the operational flexibility could be maintained by energy conversion and storage *** paper proposes a hierarchical optimization framework for leveraging and aggregating the DES flexibility to provide contingency *** characterize and quantify the flexibility in individual DESs,the concept of available reserve profile,which is measured by a set of indices,is established.A two-stage robust optimization(RO)model is developed for calculating the indices,which considers the uncertainties associated with wind power and ambient *** lower stage of the two-stage model is managed by district energy system operators(DESOs)which submit reserve profiles to the district energy system coordinator(DESC)at the upper stage,which is responsible for the coordination ***,information privacy is preserved using a coordinated data-sharing *** reserve profiles submitted by multiple DESOs,the DESC applies the proposed coordination model to provide a certain reserve capacity schedule to DESs,which satisfies the stated *** coordination model is formulated and solved based on the special ordered set(SOS)technique and particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm.A test system is developed to illustrate the technical viability and economic feasibility of the proposed technique.
