Clinical value of three-dimensional digital subtraction angiography in the endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms

BACKGROUND： The endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms requires clearly displayed anatomic structures of the aneurysm and the reference image of the aneurysm neck, the images of the form and structure of the aneurysm and the three-dimensional （3D） intracranial vascular structure are very important for the diagnosis and treatment of cerebral aneurysms. OBJECTIVE： To investigate the value of 3D digital subtraction angiography （3D DSA） in diagnosing intracranial aneurysm, and compare the reliability with two-dimensional （2D） DSA in evaluating the intracranial aneurysm suitable for the endovascular occlusion： DESIGN ： A double-blind case observation.SETTING ： Department of Interventional Radiology, Henan People＇s Hospita.PARTICIPANTS： The patients, who were suspected to have intracranial aneurysms, were examined with 2D DSA and 3D DSA in Henan People＇s Hospital from October 2004 to October 2005. Fifty intracranial aneurysms were detected in 44 patients （19 males and 25 females） of 30-75 years, with an average of 51 years, including 5 cases were multiple aneurysms, including 2 aneurysms in 4 cases and 3 aneurysms in 1 case. The aneurysms located respectively at internal carotid artery （n =19）, anterior cerebral artery （n =16）, middle cerebral artery （n =8）, basilar artery （n =6）, and posterior inferior cerebellar artery （n =1 ）. METHODS ： The 50 ruptured intracranial aneurysms were examined with 2D DSA and 3D DSA. The method of volume reconstruction was applied to reconstruct the 3D DSA images, and the automatically generated images could be shifted, rotated and magnified, besides, the corresponding processing could also be performed, including resecting the unnecessary structure and sharpening margin of the images. Simulating and validating the effects of slope frost heaving on canal bed saturated soil using coupled heat-moisture-deformation model

The lining canals in seasonal frozen soil areas can be severely damaged by frost *** freezing and thawing contributes to the continual change of the temperature field and moisture field beneath lining canal,which will seriously affect the safe operation of the *** order to study the frost heaving damage mechanism of lining canal and to solve the associated engineering problems,the permafrost body was regarded as an elastomer,and a three-field,coupled,partial differential equation describing the temperature,moisture and deformation fields for a saturated two-dimensional canal bed was derived and established based on the Harlan *** coupling equations were discretized using the finite element method in space and the finite difference method in *** parameters were simplified appropriately based on compliance with the actual conditions and were simulated using finite element *** results of a sample simulation showed that the simulated results and test results were basically consistent with variation laws,which proved the correctness of the numerical simulation theory and solution methods and the reliability of the *** model can simulate the water,heat and deformation issues in the side slope of saturated canal bed soil in a seasonally frozen area and forecast freezing damage in the canals.

Optimization of water use structure and plantation benefit of unit water consumption using fractional programming and conditional value-at-risk model

For optimizing the water-use structure and increasing plantation benefit of unit water consumption,a multi-objective model for water resources utilization was established based on fractional programming(FP).Meanwhile,considering the stochasticity of water availability in the study area,the impact of the risk factor(λ)from a quantitative and qualitative perspective was *** chance-constrained programming(CCP)and conditional value-at-risk(CVaR)models were introduced into five important major grain production areas in Sanjiang Plain,and the crop planting structure under this condition was *** results showed that,after optimization,overall benefit of cultivation increased from 42.07 billion Yuan to 42.47 billion Yuan,water consumption decreased from 15.90 billion m3 to 11.95 billion m3,the plantation benefit of unit water consumption increased from 2.65 Yuan/m3 to 3.55 Yuan/***,the index of water consumption,benefit of cultivation and plantation benefit of unit water consumption showed an increasing trend with the increase of violation ***,through the quantification ofλfrom an economic perspective,the increasing ofλcould not enhance plantation benefit of unit water consumption significantly.

Transfer and migration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in soil irrigated with long-term wastewater

In order to investigate the transfer and migration behavior of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)in soil with long-term wastewater irrigation,Groundwater Ubiquity Score(GUS)and fugacity method were respectively used to assess the potential entry into the groundwater and transfer capacity of *** results of assessment using GUS show that there is significant correlation between the GUS and organic carbon sorption coefficient(KOC)for PAHs and a simple assessment method with KOC was referred to evaluate contamination of *** fugacity method,evaluation results of transfer and migration of PAHs in soil suggest that the PAHs accumulation in the soil through long-term wastewater irrigation could be re-volatilized as secondary emission sources to atmosphere for the Low Molecular Weight(LMW)PAHs,in contrast to High Molecular Weight(HMW)PAHs for which the soil remains a sink that could absorb more *** net volatilisation flux was 0.39 g/d in upland and 0.32 g/d in paddy for LMW Nap(Naphthalene),and 0.97×10^(-3)g/d in upland and 0.37×10^(-3)g/d in paddy for LMW Phe(Phenanthrene).The net deposition was 0.72×10^(-4)g/d in upland and 0.10×10^(-3)g/d in paddy for HMW Fla(Fluoranthene),and 0.22×10^(-4)g/d in upland and 0.20×10^(-4)g/d in paddy for HMW Bap(Benzo[a]pyrene).Sensitivities of the model estimates to input parameters were tested,and the sensitivity coefficient was defined for the *** most influential parameters were the volumes of the air,water,and organic carbon fractions in soil and the thickness of the soil.

Impact factors and dynamic simulation of tillage-layer temperature in frozen-thawed soil under different cover conditions

Based on a winter field experiment between 2016 and 2017,four treatments(bare land(BL),natural snowfall coverage(NS),5-cm-deep straw+natural snowfall coverage(SC5),and 10-cm-deep straw+natural snowfall coverage(SC10))were established to determine the effects of the different treatments on soil temperature at the soil surface and at depths of 10 cm,20 cm,and 30 *** environmental factors of ambient temperature,ambient humidity,water vapor pressure,10-min wind speed,total radiation,net radiation,and long wave radiation were obtained from the weather station in the study *** correlation,multiple regression,and stepwise regression analysis,models for dynamic simulation of the tillage-layer soil temperature were constructed for analyzing the relation between tillage-layer soil temperature and environmental *** results showed that the environmental factors were all significantly correlated with tillage-layer temperature at the 0.01 level;when the impacts of other environmental factors were excluded,the correlations decreased *** dynamic simulation models for tillage-layer soil temperature under different coverage conditions were different,and the larger the coverage amount,the fewer the environmental factors that could affect the tillage-layer *** coefficients of determination of the prediction results of the dynamic models for the tillage-layer soil temperature under the four treatments(BL,NS,SC5,and SC10)were 0.8385,0.7110,0.7283,and 0.6216,*** prediction had a high accuracy and can accurately depict the dynamic changes of the tillage-layer soil *** results provided a theoretical basis for the efficient utilization of farmland soil water and heat resources.

Treatment of cavernous sinus dural arteriovenous fistula using different surgical approaches:Analysis of 32 consecutive cases

Objective:Transarterial and transvenous embolization methods are considered effective and safe approaches for the treatment of cavernous sinus dural arteriovenous fistula(CSDAVF).Here.,we report the angioarchitectural features and clinical outcomes of CSDAVF in patients treated with either the inferior arterial approach(IAA) or the inferior petrosal sinus approach(IPSA).Methods:The clinical data of 32 patients with CSDAVF treated at our institution from May 2008 to May 2014 were retrospectively *** patients underwent routine diagnostic digital subtraction angiography(DSA) before *** was performed using the IPSA through the internal jugular vein or IAA,based on angioarchitectural ***:Of the 32 patients with CSDAVF,24 underwent embolization treatment through the internal jugular veinIPSA and 8 patients underwent treatment through *** patients in the IPSA group experienced mild headache,which improved after specific *** immediate postembolization angiographic results revealed complete occlusion in 26 cases(18 IPSA and 8 IAA) and almost complete occlusion in 6 cases(IPSA).Complications that occurred during the procedure included abducens nerve palsy(n=1,IPSA) and prosopoplegia(n=1,IAA).One patient developed tinnitus,which was diagnosed as anterior cranial fossa new-onset dural arteriovenous fistula on DSA,whereas the symptoms of other patients all improved with no ***:On the basis of the angioarchitectural features of CSDAVF,IAA can be considered the primary treatment when the blood-supplying artery and fistula are relatively singular,and when the microcatheter can easily reach the fistula through the *** venous approach should be selected as the primary approach when the fistula is indistinguishable and blood is supplied by multiple arteries through small plexiform *** the optimal surgical approach may increase the success rate of intravascular CSDAVF surgery and may help a

Utilization threshold of surface water and groundwater based on the system optimization of crop planting structure

Based on the diversity of the agricultural system, this research calculates the planting structures of rice, maize and soybean considering the optimal economic-social-ecological aspects. Then, based on the uncertainty and randomness of the water resources system,the interval two-stage stochastic programming method,which introduces the uncertainty of the interval number, is used to calculate the groundwater exploitation and the use efficiency of surface water. The method considers the minimum cost of water as the objective of the uncertainty model for surface water and groundwater joint scheduling optimization for different planting structures. Finally, by calculating harmonious entropy, the optimal exploitation utilization interval of surface water and groundwater is determined for optimal cultivation in the Sanjiang *** optimal matching of the planting structure under the economic system is suitable when the mining ratio of the surface is in 44.13%–45.45% and the exploitation utilization of groundwater is in 54.82%–66.86%, the optimal planting structure under the social system is suitable when surface water mining ratio is in 47.84%–48.04% and the groundwater exploitation threshold is in 67.07%–72.00%. This article optimizes the economicsocial-ecological-water system, which is important for the development of a water- and food-conserving society and providing a more accurate management environment.

Safety and efficacy of the Separ GateTM balloon-guiding catheter in neurointerventional surgery: Study protocol of a prospective multicenter single-arm clinical trial

Background: The balloon-guiding catheter(BGC) reportedly reduces the number of retrievals and occurrence of distal emboli, achieving superior revascularization results and improved clinical outcomes in acute stroke. This study will aim to examine the efficacy and safety of the new Separ GateTM ***: This prospective multicenter single-arm clinical trial will aim to include 128 patients who fulfill its inclusion and exclusion criteria. All patients will receive endovascular interventional therapy with BGC *** primary endpoint will be the immediate surgical success rate, while the secondary endpoint will be product performance.
