To the Editor:In the last decade,neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NAC)has become a well-accepted treatment option for breast cancer,although few detailed description of NAC in China has yet been reported.[1]A previous study found that among patients with clinically node-negative(cN0)breast cancer,97.7%(432/442)with breast pathologic complete response(bpCR)had ypN0(absence of metastases in the axillary lymph nodes);and 71.6%(882/1232)without bpCR achieved ypN0(P<0.001).As for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)positive or triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)that achieved bpCR.

Purpose:Under-foot impact loadings can cause serious lower limb injuries in many activities,such asautomobile collisions and underbody explosions to military *** present study aims to comparethe biomechanical responses of the mainstream vehicle occupant dummies with the human body lowerlimb model and analyze their robustness and applicability for assessing lower limb injury risk in underfoot impact loading ***:The Hybrid III model,the test device for human occupant restraint(THOR)model,and a hybridhuman body model with the human active lower limb model were adopted for under-foot impactanalysis regarding different impact velocities and initial lower limb ***:The results show that the 2 dummy models have larger peak tibial axial force and highersensitivity to the impact velocities and initial postures than the human lower limb *** particular,the Hybrid III dummy model presented extremely larger peak tibial axial forces than the human lowerlimb *** the case of minimal difference in tibial axial force,Hybrid III's tibial axial force(7.5 KN)isstill 312.5%that of human active lower limb's(2.4 KN).Even with closer peak tibial axial force values,thebiomechanical response curve shapes of the THOR model show significant differences from the humanlower limb ***:Based on the present results,the Hybrid III dummy cannot be used to evaluate the lowerlimb injury risk in under-foot loading *** contrast,potential improvement in ankle biofidelity and related soft tissues of the THOR dummy can be implemented in the future for betterapplicability.

The long-term safety and effectiveness of once-daily tadalafil is crucial,but limited data are available in Chinese patients witherectile dysfunction(ED).In this post-marketing,multicenter,randomized,open-label trial with 2-year follow-up,635 ED caseswere randomized to receive daily oral tadalafil 2.5 mg or 5 mg for 3 months,of whom 580 continued once-daily tadalafil 5 mg for21 ***-emergent adverse events in the 12-month and 24-month period were similar,with the most common beingviral upper respiratory tract infection,upper respiratory tract infection,and *** improvement from baseline inthe International Index of Erectile function-Erectile function(IIEF-EF)score was detected at month 12(least squares mean[LSM]change:7.9,95%confidence interval[CI]:7.5–8.4,Pfunction(IIEF-EF score≥26)were 43.7%and 48.0%at months 12 and 24,*** Assessment Questionnaire results showed improved erection function in 97.5%ofpatients and improved ability to engage in sexual activity in 95.9%of patients at month 12;these values were 96.1%and 95.0%at month 24,*** quality of sexual life score based on the Sexual Life Quality Questionnaire(SLQQ)was increased by52.2%at month 12 and by 55.3%at month 24(both P<0.001).The treatment satisfaction score determined by SLQQ(mean±standard deviation)was 62.4±21.0 at month 12 versus 65.9±20.2 at month ***-year daily application of tadalafil 5mg in Chinese men with ED showed a favorable safety profile and durable improvement in sexual performance and satisfaction.

在线教育中,学生实时动作能够准确反映学生当前的学习状态,在不影响学习注意力和保证个人隐私信息安全的情况下,准确识别学习动作是监测在线教育质量的关键要素.对此,提出一种基于无源RFID的网络学习动作识别系统LD-identify. LD-identify仅通过射频信号完成学生动作识别,所以识别系统可以很好地保护个人的隐私信息,且避免设备昂贵等一系列问题.通过提取相位和信号强度的有效特征和深度学习算法, LD-identify能够获得很好的识别准确率的性能.实验表明, LD-identify只需要在帽子的背面粘贴两个射频标签,就能很好地识别出抬头低头、左右摇头、前倾后倾3种动作.为了进一步验证系统性能,研究6名志愿者在不同的场景中的动作识别的准确率,实验结果显示LD-identify能够在不同的场景下很好地识别所有用户的3种动作,利用卷积神经网络构建分类模型来识别动作可以取得很好的识别率,识别准确率达到95.5%以上.

BACKGROUND The neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR)are novel inflammatory indicators that can be used to predict the severity and prognosis of various *** categorize acute pancreatitis by etiology into acute biliary pancreatitis(ABP)and hypertriglyceridemia-induced acute pancreatitis(HTGP).AIM To investigate the clinical significance of NLR and PLR in assessing persistent organ failure(POF)in HTGP and *** A total of 1450 patients diagnosed with acute pancreatitis(AP)for the first time at Shanxi Bethune Hospital between January 2012 and January 2023 were *** patients were categorized into two groups according to the etiology of AP:ABP in 530 patients and HTGP in 241 *** collected and compared the clinical data of the patients,including NLR,PLR,and AP prognostic scoring systems,within 48 h of hospital *** The NLR(9.1 vs 6.9,P<0.001)and PLR(203.1 vs 160.5,P<0.001)were significantly higher in the ABP group than in the HTGP *** the HTGP group,both NLR and PLR were significantly increased in patients with severe AP and those with a SOFA score≥***,in the ABP group,NLR and PLR were significantly elevated in patients with severe AP,modified computed tomography severity index score≥4,Japanese Severity Score≥3,and modified Marshall score≥***,NLR and PLR showed predictive value for the development of POF in both the ABP and HTGP *** NLR and PLR vary between ABP and HTGP,are strongly associated with AP prognostic scoring systems,and have predictive potential for the occurrence of POF in both ABP and HTGP.
