Hydrocarbon charge history of the Paleogene reservoir in the northern Dongpu Depression,Bohai Bay Basin,China

The hydrocarbon charge history of the Paleogene in the northern Dongpu Depression was analyzed in detail based on a comprehensive analysis of the generation and expulsion history of the major hydrocarbon source rocks, fluorescence microscopic features and fluid inclusion petrography. There were two main stages of hydrocarbon generation and expulsion of oil from the major hydrocarbon source rocks. The first stage was the main hydrocarbon expulsion stage. The fluorescence microscopic features also indicated two stages of hydrocarbon accumulation. Carbonaceous bitumen, asphaltene bitumen and colloidal bitumen reflected an early hydrocarbon charge, whereas the oil bitumen reflected a second hydrocarbon charge. Hydrocarbon inclusions also indicate two distinct charges according to the diagenetic evolution sequence, inclusion petrography features combined with the homogenization temperature and reservoir burial history analysis. According to these comprehensive analysis results, the hydrocarbon charge history of the Paleogene reservoir in the northern Dongpu Depression was divided into two phases. The first phase was from the late Dongying depositional period of the Oligocene to the early uplift stages of the late Paleogene. The second phase was from the late Minghuazhen period of the Pliocene to the Quaternary. Reservoirs formed during the first period were widely distributed covering the entire area. In contrast,reservoirs formed during the second period were mainly distributed near the hydrocarbon generation sags. Vertically, it was characterized by a single phase in the upper layers and two phases in the lower layers of the Paleogene.

Effects of miR-200c on the migration and invasion abilities of human prostate cancer Du145 cells and the corresponding mechanism

microRNAs （miRNAs） have played a key role in human tumorigenesis, tumor progression, and metastasis. On the one hand, miRNAs are aberrantly expressed in many types of human cancer; on the other hand, miRNAs can function as tumor suppressors or oncogenes that target many cancer-related genes. This study aimed to investigate the effects of miRNA-200c （miR-200c） on the biological behavior and mechanism of proliferation, migration, and invasion in the prostate cancer cell line Du145. In this study, Du145 cells were transfected with miR-200c mimics or negative control miR-NC by using an X-tremeGENE siRNA transfection reagent. The relative expression of miR-200c was measured by RT-PCR. The proliferation, migration, and invasion abilities of Du145 cells were detected by CCK8 assays, migration assays and invasion assays, respectively. The expressions of ZEB1, E-cadherin, and vimentin were observed by western blot. Results showed that DU145 cells exhibited a high expression of miR-200e compared with immortalized normal prostate epithelial cell RWPE-1. Du145 cells were then transfected with miR-200c mimics and displayed lower abilities of proliferation, migration, and invasion than those transfected with the negative control. The protein levels of ZEB1 and vimentin were expressed at a low extent in Du145 cells, which were transfected with miR-200c mimics; by contrast, E-cadherin was highly expressed. Hence, miR-200c could significantly inhibit the proliferation of the prostate cancer cell line Du145; likewise, miR- 200c could inhibit migration and invasion by epithelial-mesenchymal transition.

Organo-chromium(III)complex is one of the chromium contaminant species,which would transform to high-toxic Cr(VI)during migrating in the *** natural organo-chromium(III)(NOCr)is difficult to remove by traditional degradation or precipitation methods,due to its high stability and ***,we demonstrated a novel NOCr removing method by transforming it to certain structures similar to Cr-Fe minerals in nature,through a self-circulating decomplex and immobilization mechanism with nano zero-valent iron(nZVI).Taking chromium glycinate(Cr-Gly)as a probe,nZVI showed a high Cr removal efficiency of 99.4%under ambient *** removal process included three stages of adsorption,decomplexation,and ***-Gly was first adsorbed on the surface of nZVI by chemisorption of the oxide ***,the adsorbed Cr-Gly was decomplexed and oxidized to Cr(VI)by·OH and 1O_(2),which were generated from molecular oxygen activated by ***,the released Cr(VI)could be in-situ adsorbed and re-reduced to Cr(III),which was further immobilized in form of Cr-O-Fe *** the Cr-O-Fe complexing structure was similar to that of Cr-Fe minerals(such as chromohercynite)in nature,this work explored a novel and efficient NOCr removing method that was potential to weaken chromium pollution in the environment.

Construction of High Expression Plasmid of Human Augmenter of Liver Regeneration(hALR), Expression and Purification of hALR

Experimental evidence has been presented to suggest that the human augmenter of liver regeneration （hALR） serves as a hepatotruphic growth factor during liver regeneration and as a generalized growth factor during pancreas transplant/regeneration. A prokaryotic expression plasmid, pRSET/6his-c-myc-hALR was constructed, by cloning synthesized hALR cDNA into pRSET/6his-c-myc that was improved on the basis of pRSET B by the group. As a result, the protein was highly expressed in E. coli BL21. The recombinant hALR was over 60% of the total protein in E. coli. Its validity was confirmed by means of Western Blotting. The protein was purified by Ni-NTA affinity chrumatography and this FAD-dependent sulthydryl oxidase activity was measured.

CNN-LSTM based incremental attention mechanism enabled phase-space reconstruction for chaotic time series prediction

To improve the prediction accuracy of chaotic time series and reconstruct a more reasonable phase space structure of the prediction network,we propose a convolutional neural network-long short-term memory(CNN-LSTM)prediction model based on the incremental attention ***,a traversal search is conducted through the traversal layer for finite parameters in the phase ***,an incremental attention layer is utilized for parameter judgment based on the dimension weight criteria(DWC).The phase space parameters that best meet DWC are selected and fed into the input ***,the constructed CNN-LSTM network extracts spatio-temporal features and provides the final prediction *** model is verified using Logistic,Lorenz,and sunspot chaotic time series,and the performance is compared from the two dimensions of prediction accuracy and network phase space ***,the CNN-LSTM network based on incremental attention is compared with long short-term memory(LSTM),convolutional neural network(CNN),recurrent neural network(RNN),and support vector regression(SVR)for prediction *** experiment results indicate that the proposed composite network model possesses enhanced capability in extracting temporal features and achieves higher prediction ***,the algorithm to estimate the phase space parameter is compared with the traditional CAO,false nearest neighbor,and C-C,three typical methods for determining the chaotic phase space *** experiments reveal that the phase space parameter estimation algorithm based on the incremental attention mechanism is superior in prediction accuracy compared with the traditional phase space reconstruction method in five networks,including CNN-LSTM,LSTM,CNN,RNN,and SVR.

Comparative analyses of petroleum generation potential,reservoir volume,frackability,and oil mobility were conducted on 102 shale cores from the Dongpu *** show the shale has high organic matter contents composed of oil-prone type I and type II kerogens within the oil *** types of pores and fractures exist in the shale,with a porosity of up to 14.9%.The shale has high brittle mineral contents,extensive fractures,and high potential for oil mobility due to high seepage capacity and *** the petroleum generation potential of the shale at Well PS18-8 is relatively greater than that at Well PS18-1,oil content of the latter is greater due to the greater *** porosity and fracture density observed in Well PS18-1 are greater and more conducive to shale oil *** the shales in Wells PS18-1 and PS18-8 have similar brittle mineral contents,the former is more favorable for anthropogenic fracturing due to a higher preexisting fracture ***,the shale at Well PS18-1 has a higher seepage capacity and overpressure and therefore a higher oil *** fracture density and overpressure play key roles in shale oil enrichment.

Halite and gypsum minerals in saline shale make the retention mechanism and chemical fractionation of residual oil unique. The Dongpu Depression in North China is a typically saline lacustrine basin with developing halite and gypsum. The effect of gypsum minerals on residual oil content and chemical fractionation remains unclear. In this study, shale samples with different gypsum contents were used in organic geochemical experiments, showing that the high total organic matter (TOC) content and type II kerogen leads to a high residual oil content, as shown by high values of volatile hydrocarbon (S1) and extractable organic matter (EOM). XRD and FE-SEM result indicate that the existence of gypsum in saline shale contributes to an enhanced pore space and a higher residual oil content in comparison to non-gypsum shale. Additionally, the increase in the gypsum mineral content leads to an increase in the saturated hydrocarbon percentage and a decrease in polar components percentage (resins and asphaltene). Furthermore, thermal simulation experiments on low-mature saline shale show that the percentage of saturated hydrocarbons in the residual oil is high and remains stable and that the storage space is mainly mesoporous (> 20 nm) in the oil expulsion stage. However, the saturated hydrocarbons percentage decreases rapidly, and oil exists in mesopores (> 20 nm and < 5 nm) in the gas expulsion stage. In general, gypsum is conducive to the development of pore space, the adsorption of hydrocarbons and the occurrence of saturated hydrocarbon, leading to large quantities of residual oil. The data in this paper should prove to be reliable for shale oil exploration in saline lacustrine basins.

Interfacial solar evaporation technology is considered one of the most promising strategies for alleviating the scarcity of freshwater ***,solar-driven evaporation technology cannot eliminate the pollutants in the residual *** solve this problem,we have prepared a two-in-one solar-driven evaporation/photocatalysis system by decorating MoS_(2)/covalent organic framework(COF)heterojunctions on wood(MoS_(2)/COF-wood).Thanks to the unique porous structure of wood,it provides a strong guarantee for water transport and vapor release during the evaporation *** introduction of MoS_(2) and COFs can promote the breaking of hydrogen bonds between water molecules,which leads to a significant decrease in the enthalpy of evaporation,achieving a water evaporation rate as high as 2.17 kg m^(-2)h^(-1)under 1 sun ***,the resulting MoS_(2)/COF-wood exhibits good salt resistance and *** addition,the heterojunctions formed between COFs and MoS_(2) can effectively inhibit charge carrier complexation and improve the photocatalytic degradation ability of pollutants(over 99%).This study highlights the construction strategy of bifunctional wood-based materials for freshwater production and wastewater remediation.

Women’s empowerment and food consumption:Evidence from female-headed households in Tanzania

Despite the growing recognition of women’s increasing role in the household and corresponding empowerment programs in sub-Saharan Africa,intensive research on the relationship between women’s influence and household food consumption is *** the most recent(2017-2018)national household survey data from Tanzania,this study examined the influence of women’s empowerment on household food ***,we compared the monthly consumption of eight food categories between female-headed households(FHHs)and male-headed households(MHHs)using both descriptive statistics and the propensity score matching(PSM)***,we adopted the two-stage Linear Expenditure System and Almost Ideal Demand System model(LES-AIDS)to estimate income and price elasticities for the two household *** results show that FHHs consume bread and cereals,fish,oils and fats,vegetables,and confectionery(sugar,jam,honey,chocolate,etc.)more than ***,FHHs have a significantly higher income elasticity of demand for all food groups than *** are also more price elastic than MHHs in meat,fish,oils,fats,sugar,jam,honey,chocolate,etc.
