Dynamic recrystallization behavior and coincidence site lattice evolution in thermal deformation of 316H stainless steel used in nuclear systems

The hot deformation behavior of 316H stainless steel used in the 4th-generation nuclear systems was investigated by thermal compression tests at 1000–1150 C and 0.01–10 s^(-1).It was found that true stress firstly increased and then decreased with the increasing strain rate with a threshold of 1 s^(-1).Electron backscatter diffraction was used to analyze the microstructure *** dynamic recrystallization(DDRX)was the dominant dynamic recrystallization(DRX)mechanism,while continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX)was the supplementary *** happened before CDRX and provided additional nucleation sites for the *** grain boundaries(R3)appeared in DRX grains due to growth *** the length fraction of R3 increased,the coincidence site lattice(CSL)boundary transition began to occur,forming R9 and *** the occurrence of full DRX,the growth and annexation of DRX grains were easy to be promoted,in which progress both equiaxed grains and CSL boundaries *** ideal deformation microstructure with fine and uniform DRX grains,which was accompanied by a high length fraction of CSL boundaries,appeared at 1000℃–0.01 s^(-1),1050℃–0.01–0.1 s^(-1),1100℃–0.1–1 s^(-1) and 1150℃–1–10 s^(-1).That is,the deformation conditions mentioned above were the preferable thermal forming parameters for 316H stainless steel in actual productions.

A multiple coupling approach to produce high-performance SERS substrates

Creating hotspots with significantly enhanced electromagnetic(EF) field, efficiently placing target molecules in hotspot region, and achieving uniform and reproducible Raman signals are three critical issues for developing high-performance SERS substrates. In this work, large area gold nanoparticle cluster pillar array with a gold mirror at bottom was facilely fabricated by combined use of nanosphere lithography and self-assembly approach. It is both theoretically and experimentally found that through multiple coupling interactions, the electromagnetic fields at interparticle gaps within the gold clusters were significantly enhanced in our three-dimentional(3D) pillar array substrates, which can result in one order of magnitude stronger as compared with random gold clusters on a two-dimentional planar *** to the periodic stucture, our substrates also possess the capbility of producing highly uniform and reproducible SERS signals. Attractively, in our case, a photoresponsive polymer was used for the formation of pillar array structure. Its unique photoinduced deformation makes it possible to reversibly open and close the gaps of the closely packed Au NP array, thus enabling efficient placement or entrapment of probe molecules into hotspot sites between adjacent nanoparticles.

Microstructure and magnetic properties of Fe81.3Si4B13Cu1.7 nanocrystalline alloys with minor Nb addition

The amorphous matrix contAlning dispersive high number density （Na） α-Fe nuclei with average grAln sizes （D） of 4.3-6.2 nm was formed in the melt-spun Fe81.3-xSi4B13Cu1.7Nbx （x = 0-2） alloys, and the Nd and D values reduce with increase in the Nb content. The fine nanocrystalline structure with α-Fe grAlns of 14.0-21.6 nm in size was obtAlned for the annealed alloys, which showed high saturation magnetic flux density of 1.60-1.77 T and low coercivity （He） of 7.1-17.0 A/m. Addition of minor Nb significantly expands the optimum annealing temperature range for obtAlning good soft magnetic properties, while coarsens the α-Fe grAlns, leading to a slight increase in the Hc. The mechanism of the effect of Cu and Nb elements on the structure and magnetic properties was discussed in terms of the formation and growth of the α-Fe nuclei of the alloys.

The Fusion Model of Catalytic Combustion and Thermal Conductivity

The further development of catalytic elements has been plagued by activation and binary *** automatic shift model that has emerged in recent years helps components achieve full ***,the detection data still remains unstable in the shift area(7%∼13%).This paper proposes a Catalytic Combustion and Thermal Conductivity(CCTC)model for the specified range,which can be explained fromtwo aspects based on the existing *** the one hand,it uses iterative location search to process heterogeneous data,judges the prediction position of data points,and then givesweight *** the other hand,it corrects the abnormal points,determines the abnormal points in the horizontal direction,and gives the replacement value through the data of adjacent *** experimental results show that the CCTC model reduces the sum of variance from 17 of the automatic shift model to 13,and the comparison of experimental variance is reduced by 23%.In the full-scale real-time data,the experimental variance of CCTC model and automatic shift model is reduced by 18%.In conclusion,CCTC is a cross section stability framework for full-scale methane measurement,in which the specified heterogeneous combination and anomaly point correction methods improve the stability.

Dehydro-Diels-Alder(DDA)reaction is a textbook reaction for preparing six-membered rings in solution but is scarcely seen in solid-state *** this work,using multiple characterization techniques,we demonstrate that the bowl-shaped clusters C_(18)Te_(3)Br_(4)(Bu-O)_(6) might experience a DDA reaction at room temperature and high pressure between 5.5 and 7.4 *** 17.0 GPa,it is found that the bonding conversion from the intramolecular sp^(2) to the intermolecular spa occurred,in the form of pressure-induced *** recovered samples from 20.0 and 36.1 GPa showed incomplete reversibility,while the decompression-induced graphitization of glassy carbon was observed during decompression from 46.5 *** electrochemical impedance spectroscopy results indicated that the transport properties changed from grain boundary dominant to grain dominant due to the DDA reaction and the grain boundary effect disappeared as the intermolecular sp3 bonding building-up and carrier transmission channel formation above 17.0 *** results in this study open a new route to construct the crystalline carbon materials with different transport properties.

Incremental value of contrast echocardiography in the diagnosis of left ventricular noncompaction

Contrast echocardiography with left ventricular opacification （LVO） improves the definition of endocardium in two-dimensional echocardiography （2DE）. This study was aimed to determine whether LVO offered added diagnostic value in noncompaetion of left ventricular myocardium （NCVM）. A total of 85 patients （40± 20 years, 54 males） with suspected NCVM were subjected to transthoracic 2DE and LVO, and 40 healthy volunteers were examined with 2DE and assigned as control subjects. The location of NCVM, the thickness ratio of noncompacted to compacted myocardium （NCR）, and the cavity size and ejection fraction of LV were quantified. Results revealed that NCVM was mainly located in the LV medium （53.2%）, apical （46.2%） segments, and lateral wall （39.8%）. The NCR obtained through LVO was greater than that detected through 2DE （4.2 ±1.3 vs. 3.3 ±1.2, P 〈 0.001）, and higher inter-correlations and less intra- and inter-observer variabilities were determined in the former than in the latter. The NCVM detection rates were also increased from 63.5% via 2DE to 83.5% via LVO and 89.4% via 2DE combined with LVO （2DE ＋ LVO）（P = 0.0004）. The LV cavity size was greater and the LV ejection fraction （LVEF） was lower in the NCVM patients than in the control group （P 〈 0.01）. In the NCVM group, the LV cavity size was higher and the LVEF was lower in LVO than in 2DE （P 〈 0.01）. In conclusion, contrast echocardiography contributes significant sensitivity and reproducibility to routine transthoraeic echoeardiography in NCVM diagnosis. Therefore, this technique should be clinically performed to diagnose suspected NCVM.
