Provenance of the Early Permian bauxitic claystone in Huayingshan region,Sichuan Basin,South China:Constraints from U-Pb ages and trace elements of detrital zircons

The Early Permian bauxite in the Sichuan Basin is an important part of karst-type bauxite deposits in South China Block and its provenance is poorly *** we present results of mineralogy,wholerock geochemistry,detrital zircon U-Pb ages and trace element compositions of the bauxitic claystone from the Lower Permian Dazhuyuan Formation and those of the siltstone from the underlying Lower Silurian Hanjiadian Formation in Huayingshan region,Sichuan Basin,South China Block to constrain the provenance of the bauxitic *** zircons from bauxitic claystone and siltstone have similar age spectra,and the ages of bauxitic claystone are classified into five groups of 2600-2200 Ma,1800-1600 Ma,1200-900 Ma,900-650 Ma,and 650-400 Ma *** of the siltstone are classified into four groups of 2600-2200 Ma,1200-900 Ma,900-650 Ma,and 650-400 Ma *** propose that the bauxitic claystone in the study region has mixed sources:the siltstone of the Lower Silurian Hanjiadian Formation probably constitutes the dominant source,and the Late Paleoproterozoic magmatic rocks along the western margin of the Yangtze Block are probably the secondary ***,the source materials of the Hanjiadian Formation siltstone are mainly sourced from Grenville-aged magmatic rocks in the Cathaysia Block and Neoproterozoic magmatic rocks in the jiangnan orogen,with minor contributions from the underlying clastic sediments in the Cathaysia Block and Pan-African magmatic rocks in the orogen in eastern Gondwana.

On-resin peptide modification renders an easy-to-operate method that combines solid-phase peptide synthesis efficiency and avoids tedious purification procedures. Herein, we report the transition-metal-free and redox-neutral approach for solid-phase Met diversification with substrate diversity, which could be applied to synthesize cyclic peptides of different sizes.

Interference Cancellation Based Neural Receiver for Superimposed Pilot in Multi-Layer Transmission

In this paper,an interference cancellation based neural receiver for superimposed pilot(SIP)in multi-layer transmission is proposed,where the data and pilot are non-orthogonally superimposed in the same time-frequency ***,to deal with the intra-layer and inter-layer interference of SIP under multi-layer transmission,the interference cancellation with superimposed symbol aided channel estimation is leveraged in the neural receiver,accompanied by the pre-design of pilot code-division orthogonal mechanism at *** addition,to address the complexity issue for inter-vendor collaboration and the generalization problem in practical deployments,respectively,this paper also provides a fixed SIP(F-SIP)design based on constant pilot power ratio and scalable mechanisms for different modulation and coding schemes(MCSs)and transmission *** results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed schemes on the performance of block error rate and throughput compared with existing counterparts.

Wearable pressure sensors capable of adhering comfortably to the skin hold great promise in sound ***,current intelligent speech assistants based on pressure sensors can only recognize standard languages,which hampers effective communication for non-standard language ***,we prepare an ultralight Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene/chitosan/polyvinylidene difluoride composite aerogel with a detection range of 6.25 Pa-1200 k Pa,rapid response/recovery time,and low hysteresis(13.69%).The wearable aerogel pressure sensor can detect speech information through the throat muscle vibrations without any interference,allowing for accurate recognition of six dialects(96.2%accuracy)and seven different words(96.6%accuracy)with the assistance of convolutional neural *** work represents a significant step forward in silent speech recognition for human–machine interaction and physiological signal monitoring.

New progresses of fine-grained sediment gravity-flow deposits and their importance for unconventional shale oil and gas plays

Fine-grained sediments are widely distributed and constitute the most abundant component in sedimentary systems, thus the research on their genesis and distribution is of great significance. In recent years, fine-grained sediment gravity-flows(FGSGF) have been recognized as an important transportation and depositional mechanism for accumulating thick successions of fine-grained sediments. Through a comprehensive review and synthesis of global research on FGSGF deposition, the characteristics,depositional mechanisms, and distribution patterns of fine-grained sediment gravity-flow deposits(FGSGFD) are discussed, and future research prospects are clarified. In addition to the traditionally recognized low-density turbidity current and muddy debris flow, wave-enhanced gravity flow, lowdensity muddy hyperpycnal flow, and hypopycnal plumes can all form widely distributed FGSGFD. At the same time, the evolution of FGSGF during transportation can result in transitional and hybrid gravityflow deposits. The combination of multiple triggering mechanisms promotes the widespread development of FGSGFD, without temporal and spatial limitations. Different types and concentrations of clay minerals, organic matters, and organo-clay complexes are the keys to controlling the flow transformation of FGSGF from low-concentration turbidity currents to high-concentration muddy debris flows. Further study is needed on the interaction mechanism of FGSGF caused by different initiations, the evolution of FGSGF with the effect of organic-inorganic synergy, and the controlling factors of the distribution patterns of FGSGFD. The study of FGSGFD can shed some new light on the formation of widely developed thin-bedded siltstones within shales. At the same time, these insights may broaden the exploration scope of shale oil and gas, which have important geological significances for unconventional shale oil and gas.

Effects of 2,5-Norbornadiene （NBD） on Physiological and Biochemical Responses of Fresh-cut Winter Squash

Ethylene is one of the most important plant hormones that regulate physiological responses, maturity and senescence of postharvest fruits and vegetables. The determination of its role in the wound-healing response of fruits and vegetables is helpful in understanding the wound responses. 2,5-Norbornadiene （NBD）, inhibitor ethylene binding were used to determine the effect of ethylene action on wound-induced response of fresh-cut winter squash, a kind of vegetables known to produce ethylene markedly after cutting. The effect of NBD on the physiological and biochemical changes of fresh-cut winter squash was investigated in this experiment. The results showed that NBD had great effects on physio-biochemical metabolism of fresh-cut winter squash. Ethylene production was inhibited significantly by NBD. NBD also had an inhibition effect on polyphenol oxidase （PPO）, peroxidase （POD） and phenylalanine ammonia lyase （PAL） activity. The effect of NBD on lipoxygenase （LOX） activity and superoxide dismutase （SOD） was not obvious. NBD treated sample showed a more rapid increase in catalase （CAT） activity, which may help in healing the damage of the tissue. These information are important in understanding the fundamental biology of wound response and in the development of new technology to hasten wound-healing and, thereby, to minimize costly wound-related problems in fresh-cut industry.

The vibration response and noise caused by subway trains can affect the safety and comfort of *** study the dynamic response characteristics of subway stations and superstructures under train loads with a hard combination,a numerical model is developed in this *** indoor model test verified the accuracy of the numerical *** influence laws of different hard combinations,train operating speeds and modes were studied and evaluated *** results show that the frequency corresponding to the peak vibration acceleration level of each floor of the superstructure property is concentrated at 10–20 *** vibration response decreases in the high-frequency parts and increases in the lowfrequency parts with increasing distance from the ***,the factors,such as train operating speed,operating mode,and hard combination type,will affect the vibration of the *** vibration response under the reversible operation of the train is greater than that of the unidirectional *** operating speed of the train is proportional to its vibration *** vibration amplification area appears between the middle and the top of the superstructure at a higher train *** vibration acceleration level will exceed the limit value of relevant regulations,and vibration-damping measures are *** the scope of application,this study provides some suggestions for constructing subway stations and superstructures.

Insight into catalytic performance and reaction mechanism for toluene total oxidation over Cu-Ce supported catalyst

Herein,three supported catalysts,CuO/Al_(2)O_(3),CeO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3),and CuO-CeO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3),were synthesized by the convenient impregnation method to reveal the effect of CeO_(2)addition on catalytic performance and reaction mechanism for toluene *** with CuO/Al_(2)O_(3),the T_(50)and T_(90)(the temperatures at 50%and 90%toluene conversion,respectively)of CuO-CeO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3)were reduced by 33 and 39°C,respectively.N_(2)adsorptiondesorption experiment,XRD,SEM,EDS mapping,Raman,EPR,H_(2)-TPR,O_(2)-TPD,XPS,NH_(3)-TPD,Toluene-TPD,and in-situ DRIFTS were conducted to characterize these *** excellent catalytic performance of CuO-CeO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3)could be attributed to its strong coppercerium interaction and high oxygen vacancies ***,in-situ DRIFTS proved that CuO-CeO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3)promoted the conversion of toluene to benzoate and accelerated the deep degradation path of *** work provided valuable insights into the development of efficient and economical catalysts for volatile organic compounds.
