With the great development of Multi-Target Tracking(MTT)technologies,many MTT algorithms have been proposed with their own advantages and disadvantages.Due to the fact that requirements to MTT algorithms vary from the application scenarios,performance evaluation is significant to select an appropriate MTT algorithm for the specific application scenario.In this paper,we propose a performance evaluation method on the sets of trajectories with temporal dimension specifics to compare the estimated trajectories with the true trajectories.The proposed method evaluates the estimate results of an MTT algorithm in terms of tracking accuracy,continuity and clarity.Furthermore,its computation is based on a multi-dimensional assignment problem,which is formulated as a computable form using linear programming.To enhance the influence of recent estimated states of the trajectories in the evaluation,an attention function is used to reweight the trajectory errors at different time steps.Finally,simulation results show that the proposed performance evaluation method is able to evaluate many aspects of the MTT algorithms.These evaluations are worthy for selecting suitable MTT algorithms in different application scenarios.

In this study,a structure-optimized two-phase microchannel heat sink with sintered submicron nucleation sites was developed and tested.The copper-based microchannels had a rectangular cross-section with an equivalent hydraulic diameter of 222μm.The subcooled flow boiling characteristics were comprehensively compared between pure HFE-7100 and a non-azeotropic,immiscible binary mixture of HFE-7100 and water,considering heating areas of 1 and 5 cm^(2).The total heating power input to the test section were 100–1500 and 250–3000 W for a 1 and 5 cm^(2)heat source,respectively,with a flow rate ranging from 50 to150 L/h.Compared to pure HFE-7100,the non-azeotropic immiscible binary mixture of HFE-7100/water in the sintered porous microchannels exhibited a much higher overall heat transfer coefficient and lower power consumption.To maintain the junction temperature of a high power electronic chip below 85℃,the proposed supercapillary microchannel heat sink could effectively dissipate the heat flux of 1275 W/cm^(2)over 1 cm^(2)heat source and 500 W/cm^(2)over 5 cm^(2)heat source.In addition,the volume ratio of the binary mixture strongly influence the two-phase flow heat transfer characteristics.An optimal volume ratio exist in terms of the thermal resistance–pumping power minimization(HFE-7100:water=2:8 is recommended in this study).The findings of this investigation on the flow boiling properties of non-azeotropic immiscible mixtures help fill a gap in the related field.

Background:Yiqi Peiyuan(YQPY)prescription,a composite prescription of traditional Chinese medicine,has been used to prevent or delay the continued deterioration of renal function after acute kidney injury(AKI)in some institutions and has shown considerable efficacy.Objective:This is the first randomized controlled trial to assess efficacy and safety of YQPY for improving short-term prognosis in adult patients with AKI.Design,setting,participants and interventions:This is a prospective,double-blind,multicenter,randomized,and placebo-controlled clinical trial.A total of 144 enrolled participants were randomly allocated to two groups according to a randomization schedule.Participants,caregivers and investigators assessing the outcomes were blinded to group assignment.Patients in the YQPY group received 36 g YQPY granules twice a day for 28 days.Patients in the placebo group received a placebo in the same dose as the YQPY granules.Main outcome measures:The primary outcome was the change in the estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)between baseline and after 4 and 24 weeks of treatment.The secondary outcomes were the change of serum creatinine(Scr)level between baseline and after treatment,and the incidence of endpoint events,defined as eGFR increasing by more than 25%above baseline,eGFR>75 mL/min per1.73 m2or the composite endpoint,which was defined as the sum of patients meeting either of the above criteria.Results:Data from a total of 114 patients(59 in the YQPY group and 55 in the control group)were analyzed.The mean changes in eGFR and Scr in weeks 4 and 24 had no difference between the two groups.In further subgroup analysis(22 in the YQPY group and 31 in the control group),the mean change in eGFR after treatment for 4 weeks was 27.39 mL/min per 1.73 m2in the YQPY group and 5.78 mL/min per1.73 m2in the placebo group,and the mean difference between groups was 21.61 mL/min per 1.73 m2(Poup and 5(16.1%)in the placebo group reached the composite endpoints(P=0.002).Du

Thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH)is important for the thyroid gland,development,growth,and metabolism.Defects in TSH production or the thyrotrope cells within the pituitary gland cause congenital hypothyroidism(CH),resulting in growth retardation and neurocognitive impairment.While human TSH is known to display rhythmicity,the molecular mechanisms underlying the circadian regulation of TSH and the effects of TSH-thyroid hormone(TH)signaling on the circadian clock remain elusive.Here we show that TSH,thyroxine(T4),triiodothyronine(T3),and tshba display rhythmicity in both larval and adult zebrafish and tshba is regulated directly by the circadian clock via both E′-box and D-box.Zebrafish tshba^(−/−)mutants manifest congenital hypothyroidism,with the characteristics of low levels of T_(4)and T_(3)and growth retardation.Loss or overexpression of tshba alters the rhythmicity of locomotor activities and expression of core circadian clock genes and hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid(HPT)axis-related genes.Furthermore,TSH-TH signaling regulates clock2/npas2 via the thyroid response element(TRE)in its promoter,and transcriptome analysis reveals extensive functions of Tshba in zebrafish.Together,our results demonstrate that zebrafish tshba is a direct target of the circadian clock and in turn plays critical roles in circadian regulation along with other functions.

Blasting in surface mines aims to fragment rock masses to a proper size.However,flyrock is an undesirable effect of blasting that can result in human injuries.In this study,support vector regression(SVR)is combined with four algorithms:gravitational search algorithm(GSA),biogeography-based optimization(BBO),ant colony optimization(ACO),and whale optimization algorithm(WOA)for predicting flyrock in two surface mines in Iran.Additionally,three other methods,including artificial neural network(ANN),kernel extreme learning machine(KELM),and general regression neural network(GRNN),are employed,and their performances are compared to those of four hybrid SVR models.After modeling,the measured and predicted flyrock values are validated with some performance indices,such as root mean squared error(RMSE).The results revealed that the SVR-WOA model has the most optimal accuracy,with an RMSE of 7.218,while the RMSEs of the KELM,GRNN,SVR-GSA,ANN,SVR-BBO,and SVR-ACO models are 10.668,10.867,15.305,15.661,16.239,and 18.228,respectively.Therefore,combining WOA and SVR can be a valuable tool for accurately predicting flyrock distance in surface mines.

Owing to its high theoretical capacity and low cost,Sn has attracted significant attention in sodium-ion batteries.However,the slow kinetics of electrochemical reactions and the rapid decay of capacity resulting from drastic changes in the volume of Sn,as well as persistent side reactions between Sn and the organic electrolyte during the(de)sodium process,have limited its commercialization.To improve the electrochemical performance of Sn-based materials,the bottom-up method is normally used to prepare carbon-coated nanoparticles.However,its complex preparation processes and harsh conditions make it unsuitable for practical applications.Herein,a carbon-coated hybrid crystal composite(Sn/SnO_(x)@C)was prepared using an up-bottom method with commercial Sn/SnO nanoparticles.Various effects accelerate the electrochemical kinetics and inhibit the coarsening of Sn crystals.The Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite electrode exhibited capacity retention of 80.7%even after approximately 1000 cycles(360.4 mAh·g^(−1)) at a current density of 1 A·g^(−1).The high-load Na_(3)V_(2)(PO4)3||Sn/SnO_(x)@C full cell presents a capacity retention rate of 91.7%after 150 cycles at the current density of 0.5 A·g^(−1).This work may significantly accelerate the commercialization of the Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite in sodium-ion batteries with high energy density.

In the practical environment,it is very common for the simultaneous occurrence of base excitation and crosswind.Scavenging the combined energy of vibration and wind with a single energy harvesting structure is fascinating.For this purpose,the effects of the wind speed and random excitation level are investigated with the stochastic averaging method(SAM)based on the energy envelope.The results of the analytical prediction are verified with the Monte-Carlo method(MCM).The numerical simulation shows that the introduction of wind can reduce the critical excitation level for triggering an inter-well jump and make a bi-stable energy harvester(BEH)realize the performance enhancement for a weak base excitation.However,as the strength of the wind increases to a particular level,the influence of the random base excitation on the dynamic responses is weakened,and the system exhibits a periodic galloping response.A comparison between a BEH and a linear energy harvester(LEH)indicates that the BEH demonstrates inferior performance for high-speed wind.Relevant experiments are conducted to investigate the validity of the theoretical prediction and numerical simulation.The experimental findings also show that strong random excitation is favorable for the BEH in the range of low wind speeds.However,as the speed of the incoming wind is up to a particular level,the disadvantage of the BEH becomes clear and evident.

Clostridioides difficile is a leading cause of healthcare-associated infections,causing billions of economic losses every year.Its symptoms range from mild diarrhea to life-threatening damage to the colon.Transmission and recurrence of c.difficile infection(CDl)are mediated by the metabolically dormant spores,while the virulence of C.difficile is mainly due to the two large clostridial toxins,TcdA and TcdB.Producing toxins or forming spores are two different strategies for C.difficile to cope with harsh environmental conditions.It is of great significance to understand the molecular mechanisms for C.difficile to skew to either of the cellular processes.Here,we summarize the current understanding of the regulation and connections between toxin production and sporulation in C.difficile and further discuss the potential solutions for yet-to-be-answered questions.

Effects of Xiaoyao San on exercise capacity and liver mitochondrial metabolomics in rat depression model

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of Xiaoyao San(XYS), a herbal medicine formula, on exercise capacity and liver mitochondrial metabolomics in a rat model of depression induced by chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS).Methods: A total of 24 male SD rats were randomly divided into four groups: control group(C), CUMS control group(M), Venlafaxine positive treatment group(V), and XYS treatment group(X). Depressive behaviour and exercise capacity of rats were assessed by body weight, sugar-water preference test, open field test, pole test, and rotarod test. The liver mitochondria metabolomics were analyzed by using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS) method. TCMSP database and Gene Cards database were used to screen XYS for potential targets for depression, and GO and KEGG enrichment analyses were performed.Results: Compared with C group, rats in M group showed significantly lower body weight, sugar water preference rate, number of crossing and rearing in the open field test, climbing down time in the pole test,and retention time on the rotarod test(P oups compared with M group(P oup, a total of 18 different metabolites were changed in the liver mitochondria of rats in M group.Nine different metabolites and six metabolic pathways were regulated in the liver mitochondria of rats in X group compared with M group. The results of network pharmacology showed that 88 intersecting targets for depression and XYS were obtained, among which 15 key targets such as IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF were predicted to be the main differential targets for the treatment of depression. Additionally, a total of 1 553 GO signaling pathways and 181 KEGG signaling pathways were identified, and the main biological pathways were AGE-RAGE signaling pathway, HIF-1 signaling pathway, and calcium signaling pathway.Conclusion: XYS treatment could improve depressive symptom
