Efficacy and Safety of Chinese Herbal Medicines Combined with Chemical Drugs for Alzheimer's Disease:A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Chinese herbal medicines(CHMs)combined with chemical drugs for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease(AD).Materials and Methods:Databases were searched to retrieve randomized controlled trials(RCTs)of CHMs combined with tacrine,galantamine,rivastigmine,donepezil,or memantine,following strict inclusion and exclusion *** research papers published in English,Chinese,and Japanese were *** primary outcome was the mini-mental state examination(MMSE)score and the secondary outcomes were AD assessment scale cognitive subscale(ADAS-Cog)score and safety ***-analysis was carried out using Rev Man 5.3 and subgroup analysis was conducted to identify the sources of ***:A total of 15 RCTs with 1386 participants were included in this *** donepezil was used in the retrieved ***-analyses showed that the combination of CHMs with donepezil led to significant improvement in the MMSE score(Z=9.45;Plieved adverse events such as insomnia(risk ratio[RR]=0.20,95%CI:0.06-0.68;P=0.01)and hive(RR=0.10;95%CI:0.01-0.73;P=0.02).Conclusions:The combination of CHMs with a chemical drug like donepezil led to significant improvements in patient cognition as well as a better safety profile when compared to the application of a chemical drug alone.

Nanoscale ultraviolet photodetectors based on one- dimensional metal oxide nanostructures

Among the important optoelectronic devices, ultraviolet （UV） photodetectors show wide applications in fire monitoring, biological analysis, environmental sensors, space exploration, and UV irradiation detections. Research interest has focused on the utilization of one-dimensional （1D） metal oxide nanostructures to build advanced UV photodetectors through various processes. With large surface-to-volume ratio and well-controlled morphology and composition, 1D metal oxide nanostructures are regarded as promising candidates as components for building photodetectors with excellent sensitivity, superior quantum efficiency, and fast response speed. This article reviews the latest achievements with 1D metal oxide nanostructures reported over the past five years and their applications in UV light detection. It begins with an introduction of 1D metal oxide nanostructures, and the significance, key parameters and types of photo- detectors. Then we present several kinds of widely-studied 1D nanostructures and their photodetection performance, focusing on binary oxides with wide- bandgap （such as ZnO, SnO2, Ga203, Nb2Os, and WO3） and ternary oxides （such as Zn2SnO4, Zn2GeO4, and In2Ge2OT）. Finally, the review concludes with our perspectives and outlook on future research directions in this field.

产前MRI筛查胎儿透明隔间腔发育异常的价值

目的探究产前MRI筛查胎儿透明隔间腔发育异常的应用价值。方法回顾性分析2021年1月~2024年1月于我院进行产前检查465例产妇临床资料,所有样本均进行产前超声检测,超声结果提示60例胎儿透明隔间腔存在异常,进一步进行MRI检测。记录胎儿透明隔间腔发育异常的种类,同时对比两种检测手段的诊断效能。结果超声检测结果显示透明隔腔偏小16(26.67%),透明隔腔增宽12(20.00%),透明隔腔末显示10(11.67%),透明隔腔未显示并胼胝体发育不全9(15.00%),透明隔腔缺失6(10.00%),透明隔腔回声异常5(8.33%),无叶全前脑2(3.33%)。MRI检测显示透明隔腔偏小18(30.00%),透明隔腔增宽14(23.33%),透明隔腔未显示11(18.33%),透明隔腔未显示并胼胝体发育不全10(16.67%),透明隔腔缺失7(11.67%)。MRI检查敏感度显著高于超声检查,漏诊率显著低于超声检查(P<0.05)。结论 MRI能提高产前胎儿透明隔间腔发育异常的准确率,适合临床应用推广。

A new integrated model of deformation resistance and its application in prediction of rolling force of a thick plate

The prediction accuracy of existing models of the rolling force of a thick plate is always very *** address this problem,a high-precision genetic algorithm-backpropagation network(GA-BP)model of deformation resistance was built,and its integration with the traditional fitted model was further ***,a novel rolling force model was obtained by embedding the integration model of deformation resistance in the original model of rolling *** to this research idea,the industrial data are normalized at *** this basis,the interactions among the process parameters were disclosed through the variance analysis,and then described by various virtual *** factors are set as part of input ***,the optimal structure of the GA-BP model of deformation resistance was determined and an integration model of deformation resistance was ***,a novel rolling force model is obtained by substituting the traditional fitted deformation resistance into the Sims model with the integration model of the deformation *** results proves that the introduction of virtual factors can increase the hit rate of±5%from 75.8%to 78%and can reduce the root mean square error from 4.72%to 4.48%.Besides,it is found that the mean relative error of the traditional fitted deformation resistance is 0.142,while that of the modified deformation resistance is only *** addition,the mean relative error in the original rolling force model is 0.145,while that of the present model is only 0.03.

An analytical model of hot rolling force for a thick plate by combining globally optimal approximation yield criterion and egg-circular velocity field

For the sake of solving the problem that it is difficult to be integrated for the Mises specific plastic power due to its nonlinearity,a new linear criterion,named the globally optimal approximation criterion,is constructed by the polygonal approximation to the Mises *** new criterion is proved to be the linear function of the principal stress componentsσ1,σ2 andσ3 and the trajectory of it on theπ-plane is a non-equiangular but equilateral dodecagon intersecting the Mises *** theoretical results of the current criterion described by the Lode stress parameters are in excellent accordance with the experimental ***,according to the trend that the metallic flow velocity between rollers aggrandizes gradually from the inlet to the outlet during the hot rolling of a thick plate,a biomimetic velocity field is proposed in which the horizontal velocity component fits the egg-circular curve *** velocity field and its simulated results agree quite ***,using the determined linear criterion,energy analysis of the constructed velocity field is utilized to obtain the interior deformation power,while the vector decomposition approach is utilized to obtain the frictional power and shear *** this basis,the overall power is obtained and the analytical solutions are generated for the rolling torque,rolling force and the coefficient of the stress state under different egg curves by minimizing the neutral ***,the parameter optimization of the characteristic parameterρwhich affects the slope of the egg-circular curve is carried out and the best egg-circular curve which can minimize the energy consumption is *** best agreement between the theoretical and observed values of rolling force and rolling torque is under this curve,and the mean relative errors of the rolling torque and rolling force are no more than 2.93%,while the maximum error is no more than 8.35%.

SAR IMAGE COMPRESSION WITH TARGET REGION EXTRACTION AND PRESERVATION IN DECOMPOSED STRUCTURAL COMPONENT

With the bandwidth restriction in airborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)-based hu- man-in-the-loop applications, the acquired SAR images should be compressed with loss to overcome the conflict of image quantity and the response time. In this letter a framework of SAR image compression is described. The SAR image is decomposed into two components, namely structural and textural components. The target region mask is used to retain the important target information by allocating more bits during compression, while less bits is allocated for the background region. The obtained results show that the compressed image using the proposed algorithm has better visual effect under the same bit rate compared with JPEG2000 algorithm.

Time representation of mitochondrial morphology and function after acute spinal cord injury

Changes in mitochondrial morphology and function play an important role in secondary damage after acute spinal cord injury. We recorded the time representation of mitochondrial morphology and function in rats with acute spinal cord injury. Results showed that mitochondria had an irregular shape, and increased in size. Mitochondrial cristae were disordered and mitochondrial membrane rupture was visible at 2–24 hours after injury. Fusion protein mitofusin 1 expression gradually increased, peaked at 8 hours after injury, and then decreased to its lowest level at 24 hours. Expression of dynamin-related protein 1, amitochondrial fission protein, showed the opposite kinetics. At 2–24 hours after acute spinal cord injury, malondialdehyde content, cytochrome c levels and caspase-3 expression were increased, but glutathione content, adenosine triphosphate content, Na＋-K＋-ATPase activity and mitochondrial membrane potential were gradually reduced. Furthermore, mitochondrial morphology altered during the acute stage of spinal cord injury. Fusion was important within the first 8 hours, but fission played a key role at 24 hours. Oxidative stress was inhibited, biological productivity was diminished, and mitochondrial membrane potential and permeability were reduced in the acute stage of injury. In summary, mitochondrial apoptosis is activated when the time of spinal cord injury is prolonged.

Genetic source,migration and accumulation of helium under deep thermal fluid activities:A case study of Ledong diapir area in Yinggehai Basin,South China Sea

Based on the geochemical parameters and analytical data,the heat conservation equation,mass balance law,Rayleigh fractionation model and other methods were used to quantify the in-situ yield and external flux of crust-derived helium,and the initial He concentration and thermal driving mechanism of mantle-derived helium,in the Ledong Diapir area,the Yinggehai Basin,in order to understand the genetic source,migration and accumulation mechanisms of helium under deep thermal fluid *** average content of mantle-derived He is only 0.0014%,the ^(3)He/^(4)He value is(0.002–2.190)×10^(−6),and the R/Ra value ranges from 0.01 to 1.52,indicating the contribution of mantle-derived He is 0.09%–19.84%,while the proportion of crust-derived helium can reach over 80%.Quantitative analysis indicates that the crust-derived helium is dominated by external input,followed by in-situ production,in the Ledong diapir *** crust-derived helium exhibits an in-situ 4 He yield rate of(7.66–7.95)×10^(−13)cm^(3)/(a·g),an in-situ 4 He yield of(4.10–4.25)×10^(−4)cm^(3)/g,and an external 4 He influx of(5.84–9.06)×10^(−2)cm^(3)/*** results may be related to atmospheric recharge into formation fluid and deep rock-water *** ratio of initial mole volume of 3 He to enthalpy(W)is(0.004–0.018)×10^(−11) cm^(3)/J,and the heat contribution from the deep mantle(X_(M))accounts for 7.63%–36.18%,indicating that deep hot fluid activities drive the migration of mantle-derived 3 *** primary helium migration depends on advection,while the secondary migration is controlled by hydrothermal degassing and gas-liquid *** deep to shallow layers,the CO_(2/3) He value rises from 1.34×10^(9)to 486×10^(9),indicating large amount of CO_(2)has *** the influence of deep thermal fluid,helium migration and accumulation mechanisms include:deep heat driven diffusion,advection release,vertical hydrothermal degassing,shallow lateral migration,accumulation in traps far from faults,
