Gamma-aminobuty.ic acid(GABA),widely.existing in different organisms,is rapidly.accumulated in plants in response to environmental *** main biosy.thesis and degradation pathway. of GABA constitute the GABA shunt,which is tied to the tricarboxy.ic acid(TCA)*** transaminase(GABA-T)and succinate semialdehy.e dehy.rogenase(SSADH)are two essential enzy.es for the GABA degradation *** there are abundant studies on GABA shunt in higher plants at the phy.iological and genetic levels,research on its role in microalgae remains *** study.aimed at exploring the function of GABA-T and SSADH genes in Isochry.is zhanjiangensis,an important diet microalga,under different *** cloned two GABA-T genes,IzGABA-T1 and IzGABA-T2,and one SSADH gene IzSSADH from Isochry.is zhanjiangensis and conducted heterologous expression *** results showed that the overexpression of IzGABA-T1 or IzGABA-T2 enhanced the survival rates of y.ast transformants under heat or NaCl stress,while the overexpression of IzSSADH improved y.ast tolerance to NaCl stress but had no obvious effect on heat ***,the results of quantitative real-time poly.erase chain reaction(qPCR)showed that IzGABA-T1 transcription increased in the HT(salinity.25,35℃)and LS(salinity.15,25℃)*** 24 h,the IzGABA-T2 transcriptions increased in the HT,LS,and HS(salinity.35,25℃)groups,but their transcription levels decreased in all groups at 48 *** transcription increased in the LS *** results suggest that IzGABA-T1,IzGABA-T2,and IzSSADH are associated with temperature and salinity.stresses and possess a certain preference for different stresses.

Human monoamine oxidase B(hMAO-B)has emerged as a pivotal therapeutic target for Parkinson's *** to adverse effects and shortage of commercial drugs,there is a need for novel,highly.selective,and reversible hMAO-B inhibitors with good blood-brain barrier *** this study.a high-throughput at-line nanofractionation screening platform was established with extracts from Chuanxiong Rhizoma,which resulted in the discovery.of 75 active compounds,including phenolic acids,volatile oils,and phthalides,two of which were highly.selective novel natural phthalide hMAO-B inhibitors that were potent,selective,reversible and had good blood‒brain *** docking and molecular dy.amics simulations elucidated the inhibition ***(IC_(50)=103 nmol/L;SI=645)and neocnidilide(IC_(50)=131 nmol/L;SI=207)demonstrated their excellent potential as hMAO-B *** offset the limitations of deactivating enzy.es associated with irreversible hMAO-B inhibitors such as *** SH-Sy.y.cell assay.,sedanolide(EC_(50)=0.962μmol/L)and neocnidilide(EC_(50)=1.161μmol/L)exhibited significant neuroprotective effects,comparable to the positive drugs rasagiline(EC_(50)=0.896μmol/L)and safinamide(EC_(50)=1.079μmol/L).These findings underscore the potential of sedanolide as a novel natural hMAO-B inhibitor that warrants further development as a promising drug candidate.

ASD (autism spectrum disorder) is a neurodevelopmental disorder influenced by.genes and the environment. This study.investigated the protective effects of bovine MFGM (BMFGM) and goat MFGM (GMFGM) supplementation on ASD model mice. Analy.is of phospholipid composition showed higher levels of phosphatidy.choline in BMFGM and phosphatidy.ethanolamine in GMFGM. Behavioral results indicated MFGMs ameliorated social deficits， with GMFGM being more effective. MFGMs mitigated neuroinflammation by.suppressing microglial overactivation and proinflammatory.cy.okines expression， meanwhile GMFGM increased the anti-inflammatory.factor IL-10. MFGMs also altered gut microbiota composition and maintained gut barrier integrity. Uniquely. GMFGM increased buty.ate production. Correlation analy.is revealed positive associations between social behavior， levels of phosphatidy.choline， sphingomy.lin， and the abundance of Allobaculum， Clostridium＿sensu＿stricto， and Turicibacter. Overall， these findings revealed the protective effects of MFGMs on neurodevelopment in ASD animal models and the underly.ng mechanism could be partly.explained by.their regulation of gut microbiota by.the phospholipid components in MFGMs.

Factors controlling the metal fertilization of granitic magma: Constraints from amphibole and biotite geochemistry.of the Shangcheng pluton， Dabie orogen， Central China

It is very.common for similar granitoids to be emplaced in the same tectonic region， with some being metal-fertilized while others are barren. The reasons for this are still not clear. Here， we take the Shangcheng pluton as an example. This pluton occurs close to the giant Shapinggou porphy.y.Mo deposit， and we use amphibole and biotite geochemistry.as sensitive tracers to explore this issue. The Shangcheng granitoids comprise the Sigudun （SGD） and Shiguwa （SGW） units， with emplacement ages ranging from 140 ± 3 Ma to 134 ± 2.4 Ma， as revealed by.titanite U-Pb dating. The geochemical data of amphibole and biotite indicate that the magma intruded from depths of ～3.3 km to ～2.3 km with increasing oxy.en fugacity. The modeled results indicate that water content is an essential factor for metal fertilization， as the Shangcheng pluton has a lower water content than the Shapinggou Mo-bearing granite. The Shangcheng pluton is also characterized by.fluorine-poor conditions， with lower halogen fugacity.values of IV（F） and log (f H2O/f HF)fluid. In contrast， the increasing y.Ho and Nb/Ta ratios of the Shapinggou Mo-bearing granite indicate the F-rich nature of the fertilized Shapinggou magma， and its lower Zr/Hf and K/Rb ratios suggest a greater magma differentiation. Therefore， water-poor and F-poor magma， in combination with low-degree fractional cry.tallization， may.be the major controlling factors responsible for the Mo-barren nature of the Shangcheng pluton.
