Nowadays,presynaptic dopaminergic positron emission tomography,which assesses deficiencies in dopamine synthesis,storage,and transport,is widely utilized for early diagnosis and differential diagnosis of *** review provides a comprehensive summary of the latest developments in the application of presynaptic dopaminergic positron emission tomography imaging in disorders that manifest *** conducted a thorough literature search using reputable databases such as PubMed and Web of *** criteria involved identifying peer-reviewed articles published within the last 5 years,with emphasis on their relevance to clinical *** findings from these studies highlight that presynaptic dopaminergic positron emission tomography has demonstrated potential not only in diagnosing and differentiating various Parkinsonian conditions but also in assessing disease severity and predicting ***,when employed in conjunction with other imaging modalities and advanced analytical methods,presynaptic dopaminergic positron emission tomography has been validated as a reliable in vivo *** validation extends to screening and exploring potential neuropathological mechanisms associated with dopaminergic *** summary,the insights gained from interpreting these studies are crucial for enhancing the effectiveness of preclinical investigations and clinical trials,ultimately advancing toward the goals of neuroregeneration in parkinsonian disorders.

The elucidation of a natural strategy for metal hyperaccumulation enables the rational design of technologies for the clean-up of metal-contaminated *** acid has been suggested to be involved in toxic metallic element tolerance,translocation,and accumulation in *** impact of exogenous organic acids on cadmium(Cd) uptake and translocation in the zinc(Zn)/Cd co-hyperaccumulator Sedum alfredii was investigated in the present *** the addition of organic acids,short-term(2 h) root uptake of 109 Cd increased significantly,and higher 109 Cd contents in roots and shoots were noted 24 h after uptake,when compared to *** 85% of the 109 Cd taken up was distributed to the shoots in plants with citric acid(CA) treatments,as compared with 75% within *** such effect was observed for tartaric acid(TA).Reduced growth under Cd stress was significantly alleviated by low ***-term application of the two organic acids both resulted in elevated Cd in plants,but the effects varied with exposure time and *** results imply that CA may be involved in the processes of Cd uptake,translocation and tolerance in ***,whereas the impact of TA is mainly on the root uptake of Cd.

The purpose of this study was to explore the different effects between biomimetic mineralized collagen(MC)and ordinary physically blended hydroxyapatite/collagen(HA/Col)composite in evaluating new bone formation and regenerated bone height in human extraction ***-four patients who cannot retain teeth caused by trauma or decay were randomly selected from department of Stomatology of Dongzhimen Hospital from december 2013 to december *** patients were randomly divided into two *** the operation of tooth extraction,17 patients were implanted with biomimetic MC(MC group),and other 17 patients were implanted with ordinary physically blended nHA/Col composite(nHA/Col group).X-ray positioning projection by auto-photographing was taken to test the distance between the lowest position and the neighboring CEJm-CEJd immediately,1 month and 3 months after the *** height of new bone formation of the MC group was significantly higher than the nHA/Col *** MC showed better clinical outcomes in the bone formation for extraction site preservation and would have broad application prospect in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgeries.

Treatment with metformin can lead to the recovery of pleiotropic biological activities after spinal cord ***,its effect on spinal cord injury in aged mice remains *** the essential role of angiogenesis during the regeneration process,we hypothesized that metformin activates the adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase/endothelial nitric oxide synthase pathway in endothelial cells,thereby promoting microvascular regeneration in aged mice after spinal cord *** this study,we established young and aged mouse models of contusive spinal cord injury using a modified Allen *** found that aging hindered the recovery of neurological function and the formation of blood vessels in the spinal *** with metformin promoted spinal cord microvascular endothelial cell migration and blood vessel formation in ***,intraperitoneal injection of metformin in an in vivo model promoted endothelial cell proliferation and increased the density of new blood vessels in the spinal cord,thereby improving neurological *** role of metformin was reversed by compound C,an adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase inhibitor,both in vivo and in vitro,suggesting that the adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase/endothelial nitric oxide synthase pathway likely regulates metformin-mediated angiogenesis after spinal cord *** findings suggest that metformin promotes vascular regeneration in the injured spinal cord by activating the adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase/endothelial nitric oxide synthase pathway,thereby improving the neurological function of aged mice after spinal cord injury.

Trailing-edge flap is traditionally used to improve the takeoff and landing aerodynamic performance of *** order to improve flight efficiency during takeoff,cruise and landing states,the flexible variable camber trailing-edge flap is introduced,capable of changing its shape smoothly from 50% flap chord to the rear of the *** a numerical simulation method for the case of the GA（W）-2 airfoil,the multi-objective optimization of the overlap,gap,deflection angle,and bending angle of the flap under takeoff and landing configurations is *** optimization results show that under takeoff configuration,the variable camber trailing-edge flap can increase lift coefficient by about 8% and lift-to-drag ratio by about 7% compared with the traditional flap at a takeoff angle of 8°.Under landing configuration,the flap can improve the lift coefficient at a stall angle of attack about 1.3%.Under cruise state,the flap helps to improve the lift-todrag ratio over a wide range of lift coefficients,and the maximum increment is about 30%.Finally,a corrugated structure–eccentric beam combination bending mechanism is introduced in this paper to bend the flap by rotating the eccentric beam.

It is particularly important to monitor Cr(Ⅵ)for its high *** this paper,a novel,simple,low-cost and"on-off-on"fluorescence sensor of carbon dots doped with nitrogen and phosphorus(N,P-CDs)was developed via one-step hydrothermal method for highly sensitive and good selective detection of Cr(Ⅵ)and ascorbic acid(AA).The prepared N,P-CDs exhibited the ability for detection of Cr(Ⅵ)based on the inner filter effect(IFE)and static *** optimized conditions,the fluorescence quenching efficiency of N,P-CDs showed a good linear correlation with Cr(Ⅵ)concentration ranged from0.68 to 87.38μmol/L(R^(2)=0.9946).The limit of detection(LOD)was 0.18μmol/L,which was acceptable compared with the maximum Cr(Ⅵ)concentration of 0.96μmol/L in drinking water prescribed by *** addition,the N,P-CDs/Cr(Ⅵ)hybrid were also used as"turn-on"fluorescent transducers for detecting AA with a wide linear region ranged from 0.02 to933.33μmol/L(R^(2)=0.9972).Furthermore,the N,P-CDs fluorescence sensor had admissible applicability for Cr(Ⅵ)and AA detection in actual water samples with acceptable recovery rate,indicating that the fluorescence sensor had great application potential in environmental monitoring and food field.

BACKGROUND Lymphovascular invasion(LVI)and perineural invasion(PNI)are important prognostic factors for gastric cancer(GC)that indicate an increased risk of metastasis and poor *** preoperative prediction of LVI/PNI status could help clinicians identify high-risk patients and guide treatment ***,prior models using conventional computed tomography(CT)images to predict LVI or PNI separately have had limited *** CT provides quantitative enhancement parameters that may better capture tumor *** hypothesized that a predictive model combining clinical and spectral CT parameters would accurately preoperatively predict LVI/PNI status in GC *** To develop and test a machine learning model that fuses spectral CT parameters and clinical indicators to predict LVI/PNI status *** This study used a retrospective dataset involving 257 GC patients(training cohort,n=172;validation cohort,n=85).First,several clinical indicators,including serum tumor markers,CT-TN stages and CT-detected extramural vein invasion(CT-EMVI),were extracted,as were quantitative spectral CT parameters from the delineated tumor ***,a two-step feature selection approach using correlation-based methods and information gain ranking inside a 10-fold cross-validation loop was utilized to select informative clinical and spectral CT parameters.A logistic regression(LR)-based nomogram model was subsequently constructed to predict LVI/PNI status,and its performance was evaluated using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC).RESULTS In both the training and validation cohorts,CT T3-4 stage,CT-N positive status,and CT-EMVI positive status are more prevalent in the LVI/PNI-positive group and these differences are statistically significant(Pge,CT-EMVI,single-energy CT values of 70 keV of venous phase(VP-70 keV),and the ratio of standardized iodine co

This study investigated the transformations of heavy metals(HMs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) in rhizosphere soils and adaptive responses of rhizobacterial community under the real field conditions during four growth stages(e.g., greening, tillering, heading, and maturity) of early rice(Zhongjiazao 17) and late rice(Zhongyou 9918) in Jiangshe village(JSV) and Yangji village(YJV). Results showed that rhizosphere soils of YJV were mildly polluted by Cd and PAHs compared to that of JSV. The relative abundance of bioavailable Cd(bio-Cd) and bioavailable As(bio-As) in rhizosphere soil increased before the heading stage but decreased at the subsequent growth stage, but the content of ΣPAHs in rhizosphere soil decreased gradually during whole growth period. The dominant rhizobacteria genera at YJV(e.g., Bacillus, Massilia, Sphingomonas, and geobacter) increased at an abundance level from the tillering to heading stage. Rhizobacteria interacted with the above co-pollutant more intensely at the tillering and heading stage, where genes involved in HM-resistance and PAH-degradation appeared to have a significant enhancement. The contents of bioCd and bio-As in rhizosphere soil of early rice were higher than that of late rice at each growth stage, especially at the heading stage. Bio-Cd, ΣPAHs, and organic matter were key factors influencing the community structure of rhizobacteria. Results of this study provide valuable insights about the interactions between HM-PAH co-pollutant and rhizobacterial community under real field conditions and thus develop in-situ rhizosphere remediation techniques for contaminated paddy fields.

Large scale harvest of Korean pine （Pinus koraiensis） seeds as a food product in the mixed Korean pine-hardwood forest of northeastern China poses a serious threat to the sustainability and restoration of this endangered regional ecosystem. Seed collection over past decades greatly reduced the seed bank and subsequent seedling and sapling re- cruitment, and impacting a wide array of granivorous animals that rely on the pine seeds. We surveyed Korean pine seeds, including solid seeds （SS）, insect consumed seeds （ICS） and other （animal） consumed （OCS） kernels, of the seed bank （forest floor and the top 10 cm of mineral soil）, the seedlings and saplings from 1 m： sample plots in five forest types in liangshui Nature Reserve （LNR） of the southern Xiao Xing＇an Moun- tains in northeastern China to provide accurate information for assessing the Korean pine regeneration potential. The average number of pine seeds in the seed bank were 11.2 seeds/m2, 9.1 seeds/m2, 4.6 seeds/m2, 1.1 seeds/m2, and 0.2 seeds/m2 in Korean pine-basswood forest, mixed Korean pine-hardwood forest, mixed conifer-hardwood forest, white birch forests, and oak forests, respectively. In the first three forest types, percentages of SS （potentially viable seeds） were 11.2%, 3.5% and 27.8%, respectively. The percentages of ICS （not viable seeds） were consistent at around 35%. The higher but variable percentages of OCS （not viable seeds） indicated high seed predation in these forests. Com- pared with other studies, we recorded higher percentages of seed damage, probably due to our survey approach and the increased depth of seed bank sampled in our study. depletion of pine seeds in the seed bank greatly reduced seedling and sapling recruitment. densities of pine seed- lings varied from about 180 trees/ha in the mixed Korean pine-hardwood forest to about 5,400 trees/ha in the mixed conifer-hardwood forests and showed a high degree of spatial variation.
