Enhanced lithium storage of mesoporous vanadium dioxide(B) nanorods by reduced graphene oxide support

A facile synthesis of vanadium oxide with reduced graphene oxide（rGO） is developed and used as cathode material for lithium ion batteries. VO_2（B） nanorods and VO_2（B）-rGO composite were prepared by a hydrothermal method using NaVO_3 precursor and sodium oxalate as a reducing agent. The monoclinic phase and nanorod like morphology of synthesized materials were confirmed by XRD, SEM, and TEM respectively. The electrochemical properties of samples were investigated at 1.5–4.0 V, and 0.1 C rate,and the VO_2（B） nanorods exhibit reversible capacity of about 159 mAh g^（-1）, whereas VO_2（B）-rGO exhibits 274 mAh g^（-1）. The reasonable discharge capacities were obtained at high rates. The enhanced performance in electrical energy storage system reveals the effectiveness of rGO in the composite, as it enhances the conductive electron pathway to overcome the intrinsic limits of single phase VO_2（B）.

This study examines the behavior of a micropolar nanoﬂuidﬂowing over a sheet in the presence of a transverse magneticﬁeld and thermal *** addition,chemical(ﬁrst-order homogeneous)reactions are taken into account.A similarity transformation is used to reduce the system of governing coupled non-linear partial differ-ential equations(PDEs),which account for the transport of mass,momentum,angular momentum,energy and species,to a set of non-linear ordinary differential equations(ODEs).The Runge-Kutta method along with shoot-ing method is used to solve *** impact of several parameters is *** is shown that the micro-rota-tional velocity of theﬂuid rises with the micropolar ***,the radiation parameter can have a remarkable inﬂuence on theﬂow and temperature proﬁles and on the angular momentum distribution.

A sensitive,stability-indicating gradient reverse phase ultra performance liquid chromatographic method has been developed for the quantitative estimation of nebivolol impurities in active pharmaceutical ingredient(API)and pharmaceutical *** chromatographic separation was achieved on an Acquity BEH C18 column(100 mm×2.1 mm,1.7μm)with mobile phase of a gradient *** flow rate of the mobile phase was 0.18 mL/min with column temperature of 30℃and detection wavelength of 281 *** relative response factor values of(R*)-2-(benzylamino)-1-((S*)-6-fluorochroman-2-yl)ethanol((R*S*)NBV-1),(R)-1-((R)-6-fluorochroman-2-yl)-2-((S)-2-((S)-6-fluoro-chroman-2-yl)-2-hydroxyethylamino)ethanol((RRSS)NBV-3),1-(chroman-2-yl)-2-(2-(6-fluorochroman-2-yl)-2-hydroxy ethyl amino)ethanol(monodesfluoro impurity),(S)-1-((R)-6-fluorochroman-2-yl)-2-((R)-2((S)-6-fluoro-chroman-2-yl)-2-hydroxyethylamino)ethanol hydrochloride((RSRS)NBV-3)and(R*)-1-((S*)-6-fluorochroman-2-yl)-2-((S*)-2-((S*)-6-fluoro-chroman-2-yl)-2-hydroxyethylamino)ethanol((R*S*S*S*)NBV-2)were 0.65,0.91,0.68,0.92 and 0.91 *** formulation sample was subjected to the stress conditions of acid,base,oxidative,hydrolytic,thermal,humidity and photolytic *** was found to degrade significantly under peroxide stress *** degradation products were well resolved from nebivolol and its *** peak purity test results confirmed that the nebivolol peak was homogenous and pure in all stress samples and the mass balance was found to be more than 98%,thus proving the stability-indicating power of the *** developed method was validated according to International Conference on Hormonization(ICH)guidelines with respect to specificity,linearity,limits of detection and quantification,accuracy,precision and robustness.

Background Anxiety disorder, one of the highly disabling, prevalent and common mental disorders, is known to be more prevalent in persons with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) than the general population, and the comorbid presence of anxiety disorders is known to have an impact on the diabetes outcome and the quality of life. However, the information on the type of anxiety disorder and its prevalence in persons with T2DM is limited. Aims To assess the prevalence and correlates of anxiety disorder in people with type 2 diabetes in different countries. Methods People aged 18-65 years with diabetes and treated in outpatient settings were recruited in 15 countries and underwent a psychiatric interview with the Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview. Demographic and medical record data were collected. Results A total of 3170 people with type 2 diabetes (56.2% women;with mean (SD) duration of diabetes 10.01 (7.0) years) participated. The overall prevalence of anxiety disorders in type 2 diabetic persons was 18%;however, 2.8% of the study population had more than one type of anxiety disorder. The most prevalent anxiety disorders were generalised anxiety disorder (8.1%) and panic disorder (5.1%). Female gender, presence of diabetic complications, longer duration of diabetes and poorer glycaemic control (HbA1c levels) were significantly associated with comorbid anxiety disorder. A higher prevalence of anxiety disorders was observed in Ukraine, Saudi Arabia and Argentina with a lower prevalence in Bangladesh and India. Conclusions Our international study shows that people with type 2 diabetes have a high prevalence of anxiety disorders, especially women, those with diabetic complications, those with a longer duration of diabetes and poorer glycaemic control. Early identification and appropriate timely care of psychiatric problems of people with type 2 diabetes is warranted.
