Numerical study on dynamic properties of rubberised concrete with different rubber contents

As a green environmentally-friendly material,rubberised concrete(Ru C),which has the characteristics of low elastic modulus,large deformation capacity,high damping,good energy dissipation and good crack resistance,has attracted extensive attention and research in the civil engineering ***,most of existing studies are based on experimental tests on Ru C material properties,and there has been no numerical study based on meso-scale modelling of Ru C *** more comprehensively investigate the Ru C dynamic material properties without conducting intensive experimental tests,this study developed a high-fidelity meso-scale model considering coarse and fine aggregates and rubber crumbs to numerically investigate the mechanical properties of rubberised concrete under different strain *** meso-scale model was verified against both quasi-static compressive testing data and Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar(SHPB)dynamic testing *** the verified numerical model,the dynamic properties of rubberised concrete with various rubber content(0%-30%)under different strain rates were *** numerical results show that the developed meso-scale model can use to predict the static and dynamic properties of rubberised concrete with high *** dynamic compressive strength of the rubberised concrete increases with the increment of the strain rate,and the strain rate sensitivity increases with the rubber content ranging from 0 to 30%.Based on intensive numerical simulation data,empirical DIFs is used as a function of strain rate and rubber content to predict the dynamic strength of rubberised concrete.

In this paper,two lifting mechanism models with opposing placements,which use the same hydraulic hoist model and have the same angle of 50°,have been *** mechanical and hydraulic simulation models are established using mATLAB Simscape to analyze their kinetics and dynamics in the lifting and holding *** simulation findings are compared to the analytical calculation results in the steady state,and both methods show good *** the early lifting stage,model 1 produces greater force and discharges goods in the container faster than model ***,model 2 reaches a higher force and ejects goods from the container cleaner than its counterpart at the end lifting *** established simulation models can consider the effects of dynamic loads due to inertial moments and forces generated during the system *** is crucial in studying,designing,and optimizing the structure of hydraulic-mechanical systems.

Velocity equation for grenades while impacting on dry sand media

This paper deals with the collision of sphere shape grenades with sand *** central issue of the article is the establishing of an empirical velocity equation of the grenade while impacting on sand that is used to solve motion equations of the mechanical mechanism inside the impact grenade *** paper focuses on impact velocities that are lower than 5 m s^(-1).An experiment was conducted to study the velocity of the grenade while impacting on dry sand.A high-speed camera video was used to capture the grenade *** grenade velocity in the impact process was generated from these video *** types of fitting curves are used to regress the velocity equation of the grenade while interacting with the sand media and the best-fitting model is *** result shows the regression curve has a high correlation with the experiment data for grenade velocities below 5 m s^(-1).The received regression equation is useful for analyzing the working ability of the inertial mechanism inside the impact grenade or analyzing and choosing the appropriate parameters of each part in the inertial mechanism to meet the required characteristics of the mechanism.

目的：评价电针联合其他药物在甲状腺全切除术中提供镇痛和稳定血流动力学参数的有效性和安全性。方法：该随机对照试验囊括了100例患者，这些患者于2022年10月至2023年10月在越南国立针灸医院接受了甲状腺全切除术。患者被随机分为了两组。电针镇痛组（EA）对合谷穴（LI 4）、内关穴（PC 6）、水突穴（ST 10）、缺盆穴（ST 12）、翳风穴（SJ 17）5个穴位进行了电针刺激，对照组患者进行了双侧浅表颈丛神经阻滞。主要结局包括两组患者的镇痛水平和围手术期生命体征。此外，测定了EA组患者电针前后的疼痛阈值和血清β-内啡肽水平。结果：EA组和对照组分别有86%和76%的患者达到完全镇痛（A级），两组间无显著差异（P=1.00）。EA组患者接受EA后平均疼痛阈值翻倍（648.7(77.4) g/s vs. 305.3 (45.3) g/s, P m L(P <0.001)。所有患者在整个手术过程中的血流动力学维持稳定。结论：EA联合其他药物刺激了5个穴位，LI 4、PC 6、ST 10、ST 12和SJ 17，在甲状腺全切除术中耐受良好，有效地维持了适当的镇痛水平和血流动力学稳定性。

This study investigated the performances of a new type of precast beam-column joint subjected to earthquake and impact *** sustainability and durability considerations,new materials such as corrosion-resistant fibre reinforced polymer(FRP)bolts and reinforcements,fibre reinforced concrete(FRC),and geopolymer concrete(GPC)were used to construct the *** examine the resilience,durability,sustainability,and multi-hazard resistance capacities,both cyclic and pendulum impact tests were carried *** experimental results demonstrated that the proposed precast joints had the comparable or even better performances as compared with the traditional monolithic joints under cyclic and impact *** simulations using ABAQUS were also adopted to determine the optimal values of the concrete-end-plate(CEP)thickness for the proposed dry joints and to further quantify other response parameters which could not be obtained during the test,e.g.,stress distribution,energy absorption,and stress *** on the influences of various parameters on joint performances under different loading conditions was also presented in this study.

In this work,we investigate a classical pseudomonotone and Lipschitz continuous variational inequality in the setting of Hilbert space,and present a projection-type approximation method for solving this *** method requires only to compute one projection onto the feasible set per iteration and without any linesearch procedure or additional projections as well as does not need to the prior knowledge of the Lipschitz constant and the sequentially weakly continuity of the variational inequality mapping.A strong convergence is established for the proposed method to a solution of a variational inequality problem under certain mild ***,we give some numerical experiments illustrating the performance of the proposed method for variational inequality problems.

Clustering is a crucial method for deciphering data structure and producing new *** to its significance in revealing fundamental connections between the human brain and events,it is essential to utilize clustering for cognitive *** with noisy data caused by inaccurate synthesis from several sources or misleading data production processes is one of the most intriguing clustering *** data can lead to incorrect object recognition and *** research aims to innovate a novel clustering approach,named Picture-Neutrosophic Trusted Safe Semi-Supervised Fuzzy Clustering(PNTS3FCm),to solve the clustering problem with noisy data using neutral and refusal degrees in the definition of Picture Fuzzy Set(PFS)and Neutrosophic Set(NS).Our contribution is to propose a new optimization model with four essential components:clustering,outlier removal,safe semi-supervised fuzzy clustering and partitioning with labeled and unlabeled *** effectiveness and flexibility of the proposed technique are estimated and compared with the state-of-art methods,standard Picture fuzzy clustering(FC-PFS)and Confidence-weighted safe semi-supervised clustering(CS3FCm)on benchmark UCI *** experimental results show that our method is better at least 10/15 datasets than the compared methods in terms of clustering quality and computational time.

Performance evaluation of high/ultra-high-degree global geopotential models over Vietnam using GNSS/leveling data

The availability of many high-degree Global Geopotential models(GGms), namely EGm2008, EIGEN-6C4,GECO, SGG-UGm-1, SGG-UGm-2, XGm2019e_2159, and GGmPlus, challenges users regarding which model is best for Vietnam. This study, therefore, evaluates their performance by comparing them with GNSS/leveling data over Vietnam. Results show that their absolute and relative performances are largely independent of topographic conditions and geographical location and can be ranked into three classes:(1)XGm2019e_2159 has the highest accuracy,(2) the models EIGEN-6C4, GECO, SGG-UGm-1, SGG-UGm-2, and GGmPlus, have a very similar level of medium accuracy, while(3) EGm2008 is found to be the least accurate. In an absolute sense, the differences between GNSS/leveling and EGm2008-based height anomalies have a standard deviation(STD) of 0.290 ± 0.010 m, whereas, for XGm2019e_2159, this is 0.156 ± 0.006 *** other models have STDs of(0.18-0.19) ± 0.007 m. Regarding relative performance without fitting, all GGms have comparable accuracies for baseline length of 5-20 km, while for baselines longer than 20 km,the STD of XGm2019e_2159 is 1.5 ppm-0.5 ppm(approximately 19%-40%) lower compared with EGm2008, and 0.5 ppm-0.25 ppm(approximately 7%-36%) lower compared with EIGEN6C4, GECO,SGG-UGm-1, SGG-UGm-2, and GGmPlus. In addition, the STDs decrease significantly from 20 to 12 ppm in the range of 5-10 km, slightly from 12 to 6 ppm for 10-35 km, very slightly from 6 to 2.5 ppm for35-200 km, and then remain almost unchanged for longer baselines. After fitting, the relative accuracies of all GGms are at the same level with negligible STD/RmSE values. Furthermore, only EGm2008 experiences significant regional differences, while other GGms show more homogeneous spatial variation of absolute accuracy over Vietnam. These findings can contribute to the development of local quasigeoid models in Vietnam and may be helpful with the improvement of GGms in the future.
