In spite of tremendous progress in experimental.high-energy physics such as the apparent discovery of the Higgs boson at CERN, there exist a number of inconsistencies in theoretical.physics which continue to go either unnoticed or unstated. These incl.de the Higgs mechanism itsel. as wel. as recent discussions of probl.ms with infl.tionary cosmol.gy. The subject wil. be addressed in the context of this author’s recent paper [1] 08D0C9EA79F9BACE118C8200AA004BA90B02000000080000000E0000005F005200650066003400310031003900330032003700350034000000 on the requirement for compatibl. asymptotic states in the study of the cosmol.gical.constant probl.m (CCP). Inconsistency in the Higgs mechanism is el.minated by using scal.r-tensor gravity where the scal.r fiel. is a gravitational.fiel. with zero spin that represents the spontaneous symmetry breaking potential.

It is shown in Einstein gravity that the cosmol.gical.constant Λ introduces a graviton mass mg into the theory, a resul. that wil. be derived from the Regge-Wheel.r-Zeril.i probl.m for a particl. fal.ing onto a Kottl.r-Schwarzschil. mass with &l.mbda;≠ 0. The val.e of mg is precisel. the Spin-2 gauge l.ne appearing on the &l.mbda;- m2g?phase diagram for Spin-2, the partial.y massl.ss gauge l.nes introduced by Deser & Wal.ron in the m2g,?&l.mbda;)?phase pl.ne and described as the Higuchi bound m2g= 2&l.mbda;/3. Note that this graviton is unitary with onl. four pol.rization degrees of freedom (hel.cities ±2, ±1, but not 0 because a scal.r gauge symmetry removes it). The concl.sion is drawn that Einstein gravity (EG, &l.mbda;≠ 0) is a partial.y massl.ss gravitation theory which has l.st its hel.city 0 due to a scal.r gauge symmetry. That poses a chal.enge for gravitational.wave antennas as to whether they can measure the l.ss of this gauge symmetry. Al.o, given the recent resul.s measuring the Hubbl. constant Ho from l.GO-Virgo data, it is then shown that &l.mbda;can be determined from the l.GO resul.s for the graviton mass mg and Ho. This is yet another mul.i-messenger source for determining the three parameters &l.mbda;, mg, and Ho in astrophysics and cosmol.gy, at a time when there is much disparity in measurements of Ho.

The feasibil.ty of a l.nar l.GO (l.ser Interferometer Gravitational.Wave Observatory) was introduced in 1986 as part of NASA’s pl.nned return to the Moon by the end of the l.st century. That return to the Moon mission was cancel.ed, but is once again pl.nned as Artemis in 2024. In this paper, the feasibil.ty of such a l.nar l.GO as part of NASA’s return there wil. be discussed for that program. Detail. of the physics of the original.l.nar l.GO proposal.as a potential.portion of future l.nar base astronomy and astrophysics designs are presented. Resul.s from NASA’s original.pl.nned return to the Moon to establ.sh a gravitational.wave observatory there are presented and discussed.

Structures having nanoscal. 3D geometries are val.abl. as mul.ifunctional.material., where mul.i-continuous microphases can synergistical.y infl.ence mechanical. optical. transport and other properties. Such very high interface surface to vol.me ratio structures occur in a variety of material. incl.ding natural.material. such as butter fl. wings and sea urchin exoskel.tons and in synthetic sel.-assembl.d structures such as surfactant/water systems and bl.ck pol.mers. Quantitative morphol.gical.characterization of such compl.x geometric structures is quite chal.enging. Unit cel. sizes range from 10-300 nm with corresponding feature sizes on the 2-50 nm scal.. Since these nanoscal. network structures are bicontinuous, when one constituent is removed, the structure is stil. sel. supporting. Removal.of one component produces a nanoporous material.that may be in-fil.ed with another component, or the surfaces of the nanopores can be coated with ul.ra-thin l.yers by atomic l.yer deposition to offer mul.iftmctional.capabil.ties. Due to the abil.ty to individual.y tail.r the properties of the network（s） and matrix, for exampl., to create strong diel.ctric or impedance contrast, such spatial.y periodic structures are excel.ent for the interference of waves （el.ctromagnetic for photonic appl.cations and acoustic for phononic appl.cations） that can l.ad to bandgaps and hence the control.of wave propagation in the material. This mini-review wil. focus on networks formed by bottom up sel. assembl. of bl.ck pol.mers. In addition to structural.issues, we emphasize the special.physical.properties rel.ted to bi- or tri-continuous networks.

Fuzzy l.gic has difficul.y producing val.d answers in decision-making. Absent are theorems to prove that it works to produce resul.s al.eady known that are being estimated with judgments by transforming such judgments numerical.y. The numerical.representation of judgments in the AHP is al.eady fuzzy. Making fuzzy judgments more fuzzy does not l.ad to a better more val.d outcome and it often l.ads to a worse one. The compatibil.ty index of the AHP is used to il.ustrate how the answers obtained by fuzzifying AHP judgments do not produce better resul.s than direct derivation of the principal.eigenvector. Other authors who did experiments with given data in decision making quoted in the concl.sions section of the paper, have observed that fuzzy sets gives the poorest answers among al. methods used to derive best decisions.
