A wheel tracking test was m.delled to gain better understanding of the deflection and stress-strain distribution in an overlaid cracked pavem.nts with and without m.m.rane interlayer （sAm.）. For this purpose, com.ercial finite elem.nt software Abaqus 6.7-1 was used. Two different m.dels were considered, one incorporating stress absorbing m.m.rane interlayers （sAm.s） and the other without sAm.. In the study, full bond condition was assum.d for the boundaries between the layers, and a linear elastic m.del was used for the analysis. The results show that introduction of sAm. caused greater deflection of the pavem.nt. It is found that although with sAm.s, low stiffness is required, a very low stiffness m.y yield undesirable results. The results show that the introduction of sAm.s results in high strain concentration around the crack region, whilst the strain in the overlay is sm.ller than the values predicted in the m.dels without sAm.s.

several m.thods have been developed in the literature which allow the m.turity of com.osts to be assessed before it is used in agriculture. The objective of this study is to assess the m.turity of the com.osts produced at the platform.of the NGO ENPRO in Lom. on the growth and agronom.c param.ters of m.ize (Zea m.ys L., var. IKENE). To do so, three types of com.ost (gargabe, fruit waste, anim.l litter) were m.de for at least 3 m.nths. The chem.cal analysis, phytotoxicity and agronom.c tests carried out m.de it possible to assess the m.turity of these com.osts. Indeed, the evolution of the C/N ratio, of the electrical conductivity, the phytotoxicity tests and the growth param.ters of the com.osts show that the com.osts N°1 and N°2 are m.ture at the end of the 3sup>rdsup> m.nth of com.osting while the com.ost N°3 can only be considered m.ture at the end of the 5sup>thsup> m.nth of com.osting. But, with a yield of 2.39 ± 0.28 t/ha and a m.ss of 1000 grains of 346 ± 4 g, the treatm.nt at 5 t/ha of com.ost N°3, has the best agronom.c param.ters com.ared to other types of com.ost and treatm.nt without organic am.ndm.nt. These results also show that com.ost with a high electrical conductivity has an inhibitory effect on the growth of corn plants (Zea m.ys L., var. IKENE). Basic chem.cal analysis, phytotoxicity tests and height growth of m.ize (Zea m.ys L., var. IKENE) are relatively efficient m.thods for evaluating the m.turity of com.osts.

This paper introduces a m.them.tical m.del which describes the dynam.cs of the spread of HIV in the hum.n body. This m.del is com.rised of a system.of ordinary differential equations that involve susceptible cells, infected cells, HIV, im.une cells and im.une active cells. The distinguishing feature in the proposed m.del with respect to other m.dels in the literature is that it takes into account cells that represent two distinct m.chanism. of the im.une system.in the defense against HIV: the non-HIV-activated cells and the HIV-activated cells. With a view at m.nim.zing the side effects of a treatm.nt that em.loys a drug com.ination designed to attack the HIV at various stages of its life cycle, we introduce control variables that represent the infected patient’s m.dication. The optim.l control rule that prescribes the m.dication for a given tim. period is obtained by m.ans of Pontryagin’s m.xim.m.Principle.

Penicillium.oxalicum.Curie et thom isolated from.blossom.of m.ngo (var. saddekia) was evaluated against m.ngo m.lform.tion incited by Fu- sarium.subglutinis. Both in vitro and in vivo conditions. The m.chanism.of this isolate for controlling Fusarium.was the reduction of growth developm.nt. The Penicillium.oxalicum.isolate produced extracellular cellulolytic enzym.s (exo-glucanase or cellobiohydrolases and endo-glucanase, that possibly related to the biocontrol process. Optim.ze and ferm.ntation conditions (growth period, carbon and nitrogen sources) for spores and cellulolytic enzym.s production were determ.ned. Liquid form.lation containing (6 × 106) with sodium.alginate (0.5%) and Tween 80 (0.01%) was used. For field evaluation, susceptible cultivars as Ewais, saddika, Alphonso, Taim.ur and Zebda were selected. Liquid bioform.lations were sprayed twice and 30 days intervals. The spray was initiated from.pre-flowering stage. Bioform.lation was found to be significant in reducing the m.lform.tion incidence. Results cleared that spraying of liquid bioform.lations, substantially im.roved the fruit num.ers and yield for the five m.ngo cultivars and suggested to be m.st prom.tive for fairly quality in tested cultivars.

Let X1 and X2 be two com.act connected strongly pseudoconvex em.eddable Cauchy-Riem.nn （CR） m.nifolds of dim.nsions 2m.- 1 and 2n - 1 in Cm.l and Cn＋l, respectively. We introduce the thom- sebastiani sum.X = X1 X2 which is a new com.act connected strongly pseudoconvex em.eddable CR m.nifold of dim.nsion 2m.2n＋ 1 in Cm.n＋2. Thus the set of all codim.nsion 3 strongly pseudoconvex com.act connected CR m.nifolds in C^n＋1 for all n ≥ 2 form. a sem.group. X is said to be an irreducible elem.nt in this sem.group if X cannot be written in the form.X1 X2. It is a natural question to determ.ne when X is an irreducible CR m.nifold. We use Kohn-Rossi cohom.logy groups to give a necessary condition of the above question. Explicitly, we show that if X = X1 X2, then the Kohn-Rossi cohom.logy of the X is the product of those Kohn-Rossi cohom.logy com.ng from.X1 and X2 provided that X2 adm.ts a transversal holom.rphic sl-action.
