The polymer on modulating the crystal's habit is an evolving research in pharmaceutical *** study demonstrates the crystal habit modification of chlorzoxazone(CHZ)by heterogeneous crystallization(HC)in the binary solvent acetonitrile-ethanol(A-E(1:1))in the presence of polyvinylpyrrolidine(PVP)at concentrations of 0.50,0.75,and 1.00 wt%.The A-E(1:1)and PVP in HC experiments influenced to change the shape of crystals from needle to plate shape and reduced the crystal size producing a lower aspect ratio(in the range of 1.5-2.3).In the presence of PVP,the CHZ size distribution is 65-78μm which tends to enhance the powder flow-ability of CHZ crystals and as the PVP concentration increases,the nucleation rate *** solubility of size-reduced CHZ crystals at different pH is found to be improved by 1.2-1.4 ***,HC is deemed effective in modifying the physicochemical attributes of CHZ.

Crop biofortification is a sustainable approach for fighting micronutrient malnutrition in the world. The estimation of variance components in genetically broad-based populations provides information about their genetic architecture, allowing the design of an appropriate biofortification breeding method for cross-pollinated crops such as pearl millet. The objective of this study was to estimate intra-population genetic variance using self(S1) and half-sib(HS) progenies in two populations, AIMP92901 and ICMR312. Field trials were evaluated in two contrasting seasons(2009 rainy and 2010 summer; otherwise called environments) in Alfisols at ICRISAT, Patancheru. Analyses of variance showed highly significant variation for S1 s and HS progenies, reflecting high within-population genetic variation for both micronutrients and other key traits. However, the HS showed narrow ranges and lower genetic variances than the S1 for all of the traits. The micronutrients were highly positively correlated in S1(r = 0.77 to 0.86; P nd HS(r = 0.74 to 0.77; P nies of both populations, implying concurrent genetic improvement for both micronutrients. The genetic variance component was different among populations for Fe and Zn contents across environments, with AIMP92901 showing a greater proportion of dominance and ICMR312 greater additive variance for these micronutrients. The estimates of variance(additive and dominance) were specific for each population, given their dependence on the additive and dominance effects of the segregating loci, which also differ among populations. The possible causes for such differences were discussed. The results showed that the expression of these micronutrients in pearl millet shows largely additive variance, so that breeding high-iron hybrids will require incorporation of these micronutrient traits into both parental lines.

This paper presents a performance study of the distributed coordination function （DCF） of 802.11 networks considering erroneous channel and capture effects under non-saturated traffic conditions employing a basic access *** aggregate throughput of a practical wireless local area network （WLAn） strongly depends on the channel *** a real radio environment,the received signal power at the access point from a station is subjected to deterministic path loss,shadowing,and fast multipath *** binary exponential backoff （BEB） mechanism of IEEE 802.11 DCF severely suffers from more channel idle time under high bit error rate （BER）.To alleviate the low performance of IEEE 802.11 DCF,a new mechanism is introduced,which greatly outperforms the existing methods under a high BER.A multidimensional Markov chain model is used to characterize the behavior of DCF in order to account both non-ideal channel conditions and capture effects.

The wave propagation in an infinite, homogeneous, transversely isotropic solid cylin- der of arbitrary cross-section is studied using Fourier expansion collocation method, within the frame work of linearized, three-dimensional theory of thermoelasticity. Three displacement po- tential functions are introduced, to uncouple the equations of motion and the heat conduction. The frequency equations are obtained for longitudinal and flexural （symmetric and antisymmet- ric） modes of vibration and are studied numerically for elliptic and parabolic cross-sectional zinc cylinders. The computed non-dimensional wave numbers are presented in the form of dispersion curves.

In this paper,we mainly use the Frechet derivative to extend the Bohr inequality with a lacunary series to the higher-dimensional space,namely,mappings from Unto U(*** Un).In addition,we discuss whether or not there is a constant term in f,and we obtain two redefined Bohr inequalities in ***,we redefine the Bohr inequality of the odd and even terms of the analytic function f so as to obtain conclusions for two different higher-dimensional alternating series.

Objective:To detect in vitro biofilm formation of uropathogenic Escherichia coli(***)(UPEC) strains isolated from urine specimens and also to determine their antimicrobial susceptibility pattern using 13 commonly used ***:The present study comprised of 166 urine specimens collected from tertiary care hospitals in and around *** India. All the specimens were subjected to gram staining,bacterial culture and the *** strains were screened for biofilm formation using Tube Method(TM),Congo Red Agar(CRA) and Tissue Culture Plate method(TCP) ***,the antimicrobial susceptibility test was performed by Kirby Bauer-disk diffusion method for the biofilm and non-biofilm producing E. coli ***:Of the 100(60.2%) *** strains,72 strains displayed a biofilm positive phenotype under the optimized conditions in the Tube Method and the strains were classified as highly positive(17,23.6%),moderate positive(19.26.3%) and weakly positive(36.50.0%). similarly under the optimized conditions on Congo Red agar medium,biofilm positive phenotype strains were classified as highly positive(23,23%).moderate positive(37.37%) and weakly positive(40,40%).While in TCP method,the biofilm positive phenotype strains were also classified as highly positive(6.6%),moderate positive(80.80%) and weakly positive(14,14%),it didn’t not correlate well with the tube method for detecting biofilm formation in *** rates of antibiotic resistance of biofilm producing *** were found to be 100%for chloramphenicol and amoxyclav(amoxicillin and clavulanic acid),86%for gentamicin and cefotaxime.84%for ceftazidime,83%for cotrimoxazole and piperacillin/tazobactam,75%for tetracycline and 70% for amikacin,Conclusions:This study reveals the prevalence and antimicrobial susceptibility pattern of biofilm and non-biofilm producing uropathogenic *** strains.

In the Internet of Things(IoT)scenario,many devices will communi-cate in the presence of the cellular network;the chances of availability of spec-trum will be very scary given the presence of large numbers of mobile users and large amounts of *** prediction is very encouraging for high trafﬁc next-generation wireless networks,where devices/machines which are part of the Cognitive Radio network(CRn)can predict the spectrum state prior to transmission to save their limited energy by avoiding unnecessarily sen-sing radio *** short-term memory(LSTM)is employed to simulta-neously predict the Radio Spectrum State(RSS)for two-time slots,thereby allowing the secondary node to use the prediction result to transmit its information to achieve lower waiting time hence,enhanced performance capacity.A frame-work of spectral transmission based on the LSTM prediction is formulated,named as positive prediction and sensing-based spectrum *** proposed scheme provides an average maximum waiting time gain of 2.88 *** proposed scheme provides 0.096 bps more capacity than a conventional energy detector.
