Objective: To record the human cases of dengue fever(DF) and investigate the Aedes mosquito species circulating during the Hanoi 2011 DF epidemics. Methods: 24 different outbreak points were recorded in 8 districts between August and December 2011. Results: 140 patients were hospitalized following dengue diagnostic with a predominance of males(59.3%) and the 15-34 age class. Only DENV-1(11.27%) and DENV-2(88.73%) serotypes were detected in human samples. Mosquito sampling performed in and around patients households revealed the predominance of Aedes aegypti(95.15%) versus Aedes albopictus(4.85%). There is a positive correlation between the population density of Aedes aegypti and the number of human cases and duration of outbreaks. Conclusions: this was not observed for Aedes albopictus. 3 pools of Aedes aegypti were positive with dengue virus, two with DENV-1 and one with DENV-2.

Atacama Large Millimetre/sub-millimetre Array(ALMA) observations of CO(1–0) and CO(2–1) emissions from the circumstellar envelope of the asymptotic giant branch(AGB) star EP Aqr have been made with four times better spatial resolution than previously available. They are analysed with emphasis on the de-projection in space of the effective emissivity and flux of matter using as input a prescribed configuration of the velocity field, assumed to be radial. The data are found to display an intrinsic axisymmetry with respect to an axis making a small angle with respect to the line of sight. A broad range of wind configurations, from prolate(bipolar) to oblate(equatorial) has been studied and found to be accompanied by significant equatorial emission. Qualitatively, the effective emissivity is enhanced near the equator to produce the central narrow component observed in the Doppler velocity spectra and its dependence on star latitude generally follows that of the wind velocity with the exception of an omni-present depression near the poles. In particular, large equatorial expansion velocities produce a flared disc or a ring of effective emissivity and mass loss. The effect on the determination of the orientation of the star axis of radial velocity gradients, and possibly competing rotation and expansion in the equatorial disc, is discussed. In general,the flux of matter is found to reach a broad maximum at distances of the order of 500 AU from the *** are given that may be used to favour one wind velocity distribution over another. As a result of the improved quality of the data, a deeper understanding of the constraints imposed on morphology and kinematics has been obtained.

We use archival ALMA observations of the CO(2-1)and SiO(5-4)molecular line emissions of AGB star R Hya to illustrate the relative contributions of rotation,expansion and line broadening to the morphology and kinematics of the circumstellar envelope(CSE)within some~70 au(~0."5)from the centre of the *** give evidence for rotation and important line broadening to dominate the inner region,within~14 au(~100 mas)from the centre of the *** former is about an axis that projects a few degrees west of north and has a projected rotation velocity of a few km s^(-1).The latter occurs within some 7-14 au(50-100 mas)from the centre of the star,with the line width reaching two to three times its value outside this *** suggest that it is caused by shocks induced by stellar pulsations and convective cell *** show the importance of properly accounting for the observed line broadening when discussing rotation and evaluating the radial dependence of the rotation velocity.

After a brief reminder of the mechanism of gravitational lensing of ex- tended sources, the particular case of the host galaxy of QSO RXJ0911, a high red-shift （z - 2.8） quadruply imaged quasar, is explored. The non linearity of the problem, together with the proximity of the source to a cusp of the lens inner caustic, has impor-tant consequences on the dependence of the image appearance on the size and shape of the source. Their expected main features and their interpretation in terms of source extension and shape are investigated in a spirit of simplicity and in preparation for the analysis of high sensitivity and spatial resolution images that will soon be within reach with the completion of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array （ALMA）. In particular, the information on source size carded by relative image brightness is dis-cussed. Extension of the results to other types of quadruply imaged quasars is briefly considered.

Performance evaluation of high/ultra-high-degree global geopotential models over Vietnam using GNSS/leveling data

The availability of many high-degree Global Geopotential Models(GGMs), namely EGM2008, EIGEN-6C4,GECO, SGG-UGM-1, SGG-UGM-2, XGM2019e_2159, and GGMPlus, challenges users regarding which model is best for Vietnam. this study, therefore, evaluates their performance by comparing them with GNSS/leveling data over Vietnam. Results show that their absolute and relative performances are largely independent of topographic conditions and geographical location and can be ranked into three classes:(1)XGM2019e_2159 has the highest accuracy,(2) the models EIGEN-6C4, GECO, SGG-UGM-1, SGG-UGM-2, and GGMPlus, have a very similar level of medium accuracy, while(3) EGM2008 is found to be the least accurate. In an absolute sense, the differences between GNSS/leveling and EGM2008-based height anomalies have a standard deviation(STD) of 0.290 ± 0.010 m, whereas, for XGM2019e_2159, this is 0.156 ± 0.006 *** other models have STDs of(0.18-0.19) ± 0.007 m. Regarding relative performance without fitting, all GGMs have comparable accuracies for baseline length of 5-20 km, while for baselines longer than 20 km,the STD of XGM2019e_2159 is 1.5 ppm-0.5 ppm(approximately 19%-40%) lower compared with EGM2008, and 0.5 ppm-0.25 ppm(approximately 7%-36%) lower compared with EIGEN6C4, GECO,SGG-UGM-1, SGG-UGM-2, and GGMPlus. In addition, the STDs decrease significantly from 20 to 12 ppm in the range of 5-10 km, slightly from 12 to 6 ppm for 10-35 km, very slightly from 6 to 2.5 ppm for35-200 km, and then remain almost unchanged for longer baselines. After fitting, the relative accuracies of all GGMs are at the same level with negligible STD/RMSE values. Furthermore, only EGM2008 experiences significant regional differences, while other GGMs show more homogeneous spatial variation of absolute accuracy over Vietnam. These findings can contribute to the development of local quasigeoid models in Vietnam and may be helpful with the improvement of GGMs in the future.

Morphology of the ^(13)CO(3–2) millimetre emission across the gas disc surrounding the triple protostar GG Tau A using ALMA observations

Observations by the Atacama Large Millimetre/sub-millimetre Array of the dust continuum and ^13 CO（3–2） millimetre emissions of the triple stellar system GG Tau A are analysed,giving evidence for a rotating gas disc and a concentric and coplanar dust ring. The present work complements an earlier analysis（Tang et al.） by exploring detailed properties of the gas disc. A 95% confidence level upper limit of 0.24＂（34 au） is placed on the disc scale height at a distance of 1＂（140 au） from the central stars. Evidence for Keplerian rotation of the gas disc is presented,with the rotation velocity reaching-3.1 km s^-1 at 1＂ from the central stars,and a 99% confidence level upper limit of 9% is placed on relative contribution from a possible in-fall velocity. Variations of the intensity across the disc area are studied in detail and confirm the presence of a hot spot in the south-eastern quadrant. However several other significant intensity variations,in particular a depression in the northern direction,are also revealed. Variations of the intensity are found to be positively correlated to variations of the line width. Possible contributions to the measured line width are reviewed,suggesting an increase of the disc temperature and opacity with decreasing distance from the stars.
