Study the Changes in Soil Organic Carbon of Rice-Maize Cropping System in the Top Layer of Alluvisol Soil in Dan Phuong: A Study of C-13 Stable Isotope Composition (<i>δ</i><sup>13</sup>C)

In this study, the experiments on field were conducted to examine the change in the content of soil organic carbon (SOC), its C-13 stable isotope composition (δ 13C) and some main physical, chemical parameters (soil moisture, pH, soil density, content of humic, fulvic, total N, total P, total K) in alluvial soil of Dan Phuong region—Vietnam at a depth of 0 - 30 cm when we changed the regime from 2 maize -1 rice crop to 2 rice - 1 maize crop per 1 year. In addition to analyzing the main parameters in soil, C content and its δ 13C value in parts of rice and maize (root, stem and leaf) were also analyzed to assess the contribution of plant residues on soil organic carbon content after harvest. The experiment was carried out in 2016-2017 on the field with the traditional farming method of local farmers along with the tropical monsoon weather conditions of the North-Vietnam. The results showed that SOC had positive correlation with total N, total P parameters and negative correlation with δ 13C values of soil samples at two layers (0 - 15 cm and 15 - 30 cm). The average of total dry biomass (stem, stump + roots and leaf parts) per 1 rice and 1 maize crop was 10.64 Mg/ha and 9.09 Mg/ha, respectively. The average of δ 13C value of rice (C3 plant) was -29.78‰ and its value of maize (C4 plant) was -12.61‰. The new plant (rice) contributes to the total soil organic carbon content from 11.31% to 44.14% at the 0 - 15 cm layer and from 6.55% to 11.31% at the 15 - 30 cm layer in one-year experiment period.

In this paper,we establish a new algorithm to the non-overlapping Schwarz domain decomposition methods with changing transmission conditions for solving one dimensional advection reaction diffusion *** precisely,we first describe the new algorithm and prove the convergence results under several natural assumptions on the sequences of parameters which determine the transmission *** we give a simple method to estimate the new value of parameters in each *** interesting advantage of our method is that one may update the better parameters in each iteration to save the computational cost for optimizing the parameters after many *** some numerical experiments are performed to show the behavior of the convergence rate for the new method.

Effects of lime treatment on the microstructure and hydraulic conductivity of Héricourt clay

this study aims at evidencing the effects of lime treatment on the microstructure and hydraulic conductivityof a compacted expansive clay, with emphasis put on the effect of lime hydration and *** this purpose, evolutions of hydraulic conductivity were investigated for both lime-treatedand untreated soil specimens over 7 d after full saturation of the specimens and their microstructureswere observed at the end. Note that for the treated specimen, dry clay powder was mixed with quicklimeprior to compaction in order to study the effect of lime hydration. It is observed that lime hydration andmodification did not affect the intra-aggregate pores but increased the inter-aggregates pores size. thisincrease gave rise to an increase of hydraulic conductivity. More precisely, the hydraulic conductivity oflime-treated specimen increased progressively during the first 3 d of modification phase and stabilisedduring the next 4 d which correspond to a short period prior to the stabilisation phase. The microstructureobservation showed that stabilisation reactions took place after 7 d. Under the effect of stabilisation,a decreasing hydraulic conductivity can be expected in longer time due to the formation ofcementitious compounds. 2014 Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. 宝树尖铜多金属矿床位于长江中下游成矿带安庆-贵池矿集区,是一个新发现的矽卡岩型矿床。本文主要通过岩石地球化学和年代学方法来解释矿床的成因。锆石U-Pb年代学研究表明,宝树尖岩体形成于148.6±3.2Ma,是长江中下游燕山晚期的产物,为长江中下游成矿带内发现的一个较早的中酸性含矿侵入体。对于该成矿岩体及矿床的深入研究,将为区内燕山期岩浆活动及成矿提供一个不可多得的范例。岩石属于高钾钙碱性、钙碱性系列,地球化学特征显示为埃达克质岩;矿区矿石金属硫化物以方铅矿、闪锌矿、黄铜矿和黄铁矿为主,非金属矿物有透辉石、石榴石、透闪石、石英、钠长石、方解石、绿泥石和绿帘石等。矿区侵入岩主要由闪长岩和闪长玢岩组成,总体上具有高的全碱含量,低的Al2O3、TiO 2、Fe2O3^T和P2O5含量,富集大离子亲石元素(U、Rb、Sr)和高场强元素(Nb、Ta、Ti),轻稀土富集、重稀土亏损。岩石具有高的La/Yb、Sr/Y比值,低的Yb、Y含量,属于埃达克质岩。锆石稀土元素配分图显示典型的轻稀土亏损、重稀土富集。锆石Ti温度计表明岩石形成的平均温度为674.3℃。全岩Sr-Nd-Pb同位素特征表明岩石起源于俯冲洋壳的部分熔融。矿石黄铁矿δ34 S变化范围为7.6‰~9.6‰,表明成矿物质来源于岩浆热液和地层。锆石Eu异常特征和Ce^4+/Ce^3+比值表明形成岩石的岩浆具有高氧逸度,这有利于Cu、Au、Zn等成矿物质的迁移。结合区域地质背景,我们认为宝树尖矽卡岩型矿床的形成过程是:燕山期太平洋板块向中国东部俯冲,导致板片部分熔融产生埃达克质岩浆,最后经埃达克质岩浆分异形成的含矿气水热液在地壳浅部与上覆寒武系灰岩发生接触交代作用。

Detection of Denial-of-service Attacks

Denial-of-service (DOS) is a type of computer attack, which can essentially disable computers and networks. Resource consumption type of DOS attack could not be detected by the traditional misuse detection technique. this paper presents a new method of support vector mchine (SVM) to detect these attacks. We find that a DOS attack to a host is related to the activities within an impact data set of the host. The SVM method is used to classify the subsets of an impact data set to estimate its anomalism. The experiment result shows that this method can detect resource consumption type of DOS attacks, such as SYN-flood, Smurf and UDP-storm. A receiver operating characteristic curve is plotted to determine performance for any possible operating point of the DOS attacks detection.

Application Responsibility Accounting to Sustainable Development in Vietnam Manufacturers： An Empirical Study

Vietnamese enterprises continue to face serious difficulties due to the influence of fmancial crisis in the past years. One of efficent management tools at present in the process of decision-making in management, operation, and control of the administrator＇s business operations, strengthen development of Vietnamese enterprises is Responsibility Accounting （RA）. However, responsibility accounting in general is a very new content in both theoretical and practice in Viet Nam. Therefore, determining theoretical framework of responsibility accounting and the level of responsibility accounting application enables enterprise administrators to make a decision exactly, promptly and comprehensively as content of important argument. this research aims to identify the development of responsibility accounting, from four primary elements of initial accounting responsibilities （Don ＆ Marynne, 2005） developed into seven elements （Gharayba, Fatena, Debi, Ma＇Moon, ＆ Nasar, 2011） and developed into 43 scales matching seven elements （Hanini, 2013） and some new items in this paper. The research also identifies the level application of responsibility accounting according to seven elements of responsibility accounting is medium or high application level and has solutions to improve level of responsibility accounting application in Vietnam＇s textile and garment enterprises. this is the scientific basis for Vietnam enterprises in general and Vietnam＇s textile and garment enterprises in particular have a successful application of responsibility accounting to improve performance. In this paper, SPSS （Statistical Product and Service Solutions） 22 was used to collect and analyse data by distributing 64 questionnaires on managers and head of departments from Vietnamese textile and garment manufacturers.

Haemophilus parasuis (H. parasuis) is one of the bacterial pathogens of great concern as it causes huge economic losses to the swine industry worldwide. One of the reasons why the control of H. parasuis has failed is the increase in antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The country of Vietnam has the second-largest pig production in Asia. However, there is still a lack of data about the AMR prevalence of H. parasuis in *** purpose of this study is to investigate the prevalence of AMR and analyze the association between AMR and AMR genes (ARGs). The H. parasuis strains used in this research were isolated from swine in the Quang Binh and Thua thien Hue Provinces, Central Vietnam, as reported in our previous study. All of the strains were tested for AMR against 25 antibacterial agents using the broth microdilution method and for the presence of ARGs using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method. The tested strains were shown to have a high frequency of resistance to trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole (94.6%), followed by resistance to colistin, chloramphenicol, gentamicin, penicillin, lincomycin, and amoxicillin. The most prevalent ARGs in these strains were blaTEM-1 (94.6%), int (76.8%), gyrA (58.9%), and rmtD (50.0%). Cefuroxime, chloramphenicol, and tobramycin resistances were strongly correlated with the presence of the ARGs blaROB-1 (odds ratio (OR) = 26.3, 95% confidence interval (CI) 2.7–255.7, p = 0.002), catl (OR = 25.1, 95% CI 2.4–258.9, p = 0.004), and strB (OR = 23.5, 95% CI 2.6–212.6, p = 0.001), *** study reveals for the first time the current situation of H. parasuis AMR in Central Vietnam, which is helpful for the clinical control of this disease, as well as for the development of policies and clinical practice guidelines to reduce AMR in swine production in Central Vietnam.

An updraft gasifier was employed to treat 3 kg of dried rice husk per batch with different types of gasifying agents such as air,steam/air,and air with dolomite catalyst addition at various operating *** H2 content,low heating value,and H2/CO ratio in syngas were compared to determine the most effective solution to enhance the H2 production from rice husk *** presence of dolomite in air gasification produced the highest H2 content in the product gas,up to 15.4 mol%,followed by 7.08 and 3.6 mol%when steam/air and air standalone were used as gasifying agents,*** higher low heating value of syngas 5.1 MJ/Nm3 was observed in catalytic air gasification compared to 3.6 MJ/Nm3 when steam was *** optimal operation condition was reported at an airflow rate of 3 m3/h and a catalyst mixing ratio of 15%.
