Background In Viet Nam,tuberculosis(TB)represents a devastating life-event with an exorbitant price tag,partly due to lost income from daily directly observed therapy in public sector ***,persons with TB may seek care in the private sector for its flexibility,convenience,and *** study aimed to measure income changes,costs and catastrophic cost incurrence among TB-affected households in the public and private *** Between October 2020 and March 2022,we conducted 110 longitudinal patient cost interviews,among 50 patients privately treated for TB and 60 TB patients treated by the National TB Program(NTP)in ha Noi,hai Phong and Ho Chi minh City,Viet *** a local adaptation of the WHO TB patient cost survey tool,participants were interviewed during the intensive phase,continuation phase and *** compared income levels,direct and indirect treatment costs,catastrophic costs using Wilcoxon rank-sum and chi-squared tests and associated risk factors between the two cohorts using multivariate *** The pre-treatment median monthly household income was significantly higher in the private sector versus NTP cohort(USD 868 vs USD 578;P=0.010).However,private sector treatment was also significantly costlier(USD 2075 vs USD 1313;P=0.005),driven by direct medical costs which were 4.6 times higher than costs reported by NTP participants(USD 754 vs USD 164;Pthis resulted in no significant difference in catastrophic costs between the two cohorts(Private:55%vs NTP:52%;P=0.675).Factors associated with catastrophic cost included being a single-person household[adjusted odds ratio[(a OR=13.71;95%confidence interval(CI):1.36-138.14;P=0.026)],unemployment during treatment(a OR=10.86;95%CI:2.64-44.60;P<0.001)and experiencing TB-related stigma(a OR=37.90;95%CI:1.72-831.73;P=0.021)].Conclusions Persons with TB in Viet Nam face similarly high risk of catastrophic costs whether treated in the public or private *** costs coul

More than 80%of plants form mutualistic symbiotic relationships with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF),and the application of fertilizers,such as nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)fertilizers,is a common agricultural management practice to improve crop yield and ***,the potential effects of long-term N and P fertilization on the AMF community in the rainfed agricultural system of the Loess Plateau of China are still not well *** this study,a long-term field experiment was conducted based on orthogonal design,with three N levels(0,90,and 180 kg ha^(-1)year^(-1))and three P levels(0,90,and 180 kg ha^(-1)year^(-1))for wheat *** in AMF community and correlations between AMF community composition,soil environmental factors,and wheat yield component traits were analyzed using traditional biochemical methods and high-throughput sequencing *** results showed that long-term N and P addition had a significant effect on the AMF community structure and *** application alone significantly reduced the richness and diversity of AMF community,whereas the combined application of N and P significantly increased the richness and diversity of AMF *** AMF community was driven mainly by soil available P,total P,and *** was a significant positive correlation between Glomus abundance and wheat yield and a significant negative correlation between Paraglomus abundance and wheat ***-term N and P addition directly increased crop yield and affected yield indirectly by influencing soil chemical properties and the AMF *** application of N and P both at90 kg ha^(-1)year^(-1)could improve the ecological and physiological functions of the AMF community and benefit the sustainable development of rainfed agriculture.

this paper deals with a general class of weighted multilinear hardy-Cesaro op- erators that acts on the product of Lebesgue spaces and central Morrey spaces. Their sharp bounds are also obtained. In addition, we obtain sufficient and necessary conditions on weight functions so that the commutators of these weighted multilinear hardy-Cesaro oper- ators （with symbols in central BMO spaces） are bounded on the product of central Morrey spaces. These results extends known results on multilinear hardy operators.

Comparison of Sensory Characteristics of Green Tea Produced in Thai Nguyen and Phu Tho Province, Vietnam

Green tea is a popular product with a high consumption in Vietnam. Moreover, green tea produced in Tan Cuong commune, Thai Nguyen province, has long been recognized for its superior quality to those coming from other regions of the country. this study aims at comparing the tea from Thai Nguyen and Phu Tho and finding out if the difference can be identified through sensory analysis. Two products picked from Tan Cuong, Thai Nguyen province, and two others from Phu Ho district, Phu Tho province were evaluated by a trained panel of 12 judges （11 women and 1 man）. The sensory evaluation of the dry tea （11 descriptors） was carried out separately from the brewed tea （21 descriptors） and brewed leaf （five descriptors） using an unstructured intensity scale （10 cm）. Statistic analyses have shown differences between regions in all three groups of attributes： dry leaf, liquor and brewed leaf.

Evaluation of Interaction between Surface Water and Groundwater in the South of hanoi City by Stable Isotope Technique

The δ18O and δ2H stable isotope techniques for studying properties of groundwater and surface help us to understand more clearly about the distribution and movement of groundwater in the South of hanoi area. There were 68 water samples from the studying area and analyzed by a Liquid Water Isotope Analyzer (LWIA-24D). The stable isotope values of the groundwater from Pleistocene aquifers were range from -3.21‰ to -9.55‰ δ18O and -35.32‰ to -67.44‰ δ2H;rainwater from -8.18‰ to -4.13‰ δ18O and -61.19‰ to -17.93‰ δ2H;Red river water from -7.51‰ to -5.29‰ δ18O and -51.60‰ to -38.99‰ δ2H. Based on stable isotope characteristics, the results show that there was a relationship between surface water and groundwater in the South of hanoi city. It is that groundwater recharges for river water in the dry season with 74%, and in the rainfall season groundwater is recharged from river with 87%.

Estimation of Land Use Changes in Tan Rai Bauxite Mine by Multi-Variants Change Vector Analysis (MCVA) on Multi-Temporal Remote Sensing Data

The Tan Rai Bauxite Project, which exploits a large bauxite mine in Lam Dong province, Vietnam has been in operation since 2012. In addition to the economic efficiency of the project, bauxite mining and processing uses a large area arable land and affect the regional environment. Remote sensing technology is increasingly widely used in many purposes in monitoring the changes of environment and resources, including land use change with high accuracy, giving managers more information to monitor the exploitation and use process of land resource. this study used a Change Vector Analysis (CVA) method of analysis on various remote sensing data sources to monitor the process of land exploitation and restoration of the Tan Rai Bauxite project. High-resolution remote sensing images were used as diverse as SPOT-5, VNREDSat-1, Google Earth from 2013 to 2019 to demonstrate the ability of the MCVA method to combine many other types of remote sensing images together. The results of fluctuation analysis were validated by 200 random points in the study area, and the accuracy of result is more than 90%. The results of land use change statistics were also compared with the annual data of Tan Rai Bauxite Factory. From this study, it can be concluded that the MCVA analysis method can quickly detect land use change areas and can combine many different image sources with a high accuracy. In addition, it also provides statistics of mining areas and restored areas, thereby assisting managers in monitoring the operation of the mine.
