This study investiga.es crop residue a.a.la.ility within 100 mile ra.ius of a.potentia. biorefinery in Southea.t North Da.ota. Due to the la.k of ma.ket informa.ion on bioma.s residue supply, we conducted fa.m focus group survey sessions a.d empirica. field studies to eva.ua.e fa.mers" willingness to supply crop residues a.d timeliness of ha.vesting. Using a.GIS (Geogra.hic Informa.ion Systems) a.plica.ion, we loca.e residue supply a.ea. a.d numerica.ly show tha. there a.e enough crop residues to meet the biorefinery"s supply needs. Our evidence from fa.m focus group shows tha. fa.mers ma. not be willing to sell their crop residues beca.se of concerns for la.or a.a.la.ility a.d soil fertility losses. Fa.mers" decisions to supply crop residues depend on the willingness of a.biofuel firm to offer them a.contra.t a.d ensure price sta.ility. Fa.mers a.e unwilling to ta.e a.y risk in supplying crop residues a.d they prefer to tra.sfer ownership of residues immedia.ely a.ter ha.vest a.d ha.e a. externa. pa.ty ba.e, store a.d tra.sport the goods. The biofuel firm requires crop residues be collected dry to prevent mold. This will cha.lenge Northern Pla.ns fa.mers who wa.t to collect stovers prior to winter.

Objective: Vitiligo is a.rela.ively common skin disfiguring disorder tha. exhibits a.fluctua.ing course between a.tivity a.d sta.ility, ma.ing monitoring a.d ma.a.ement cha.lenging. a.toimmunity pla.s a.crucia. role in the pa.hogenesis of vitiligo. Numerous a.toimmune disorders ha.e been a.socia.ed with both CD27 a.d chemokine (C-X-C motif) liga.d 10 (CXCL10). However, tria.s eva.ua.ing their role in vitiligo a.e la.king in the Egyptia. setting. We eva.ua.ed the circula.ing levels of these 2 bioma.kers in pa.ients with vitiligo a.d the possible correla.ion between their levels a.d disea.e a.tivity.Methods: This cross-sectiona. study included 70 pa.ients with vitiligo a.d 20 hea.thy controls. The pa.ients were clinica.ly a.sessed a.d then divided into a.tive a.d sta.le groups a.cording to clinica. signs of a.tivity a.d Vitiligo Disea.e a.tivity scores. The levels of CD27 a.d CXCL10 in the serum were a.sessed using a. enzyme-linked immunosorbent a.sa. in both the pa.ients a.d the controls, then the Ma.n-WhitneyU a.d Kruska.-Wa.lis tests were used to a.a.yze the difference between the groups.Results: a.tive a.d sta.le vitiligo pa.ients ha.e significa.tly higher media. serum CXCL10 (385.9 a.d 245.2 pg/mL) a.d CD27 (61.6 a.d 66.5 ng/mL) levels compa.ed to the controls (193 pg/mL a.d 52.5 ng/mL, respectively, a.lP a.es, a.though CXCL10 levels significa.tly increa.ed with disea.e a.tivity (P a.a.le between the 2 subgroups (P = 0.953). CXCL10 positively correla.ed with disea.e a.tivity (r = 0.887,P a. a.higher sensitivity a.d a.lower specificity (95.7% a.d 60.0%, respectively) compa.ed to CD27 (71.4% a.d 75%, respectively) for differentia.ing ca.es from controls.Conclusion: There is a.possibility tha. CXCL10 a.d CD27 a.e involved in the development a.d course of vitiligo.

Street-level hea.th burea.cra.s ha.e a.tively contributed to implementing the COVID-19 prevention,control,a.d trea.ment policies of the Mya.ma. government.However,the need for burea.cra.s on the frontlines of policy implementa.ion to ma.nta.n a.sa.e dista.ce from others to prevent the sprea. of COVID-19 ha. posed cha.lenges for the sha.ing a.d excha.ge of informa.ion rela.ed to hea.th risks.In this context,this study exa.ined wha. hea.th risk communica.ion pa.terns ha.e emerged a.d developed a.ong streetlevel hea.th burea.cra.s during the COVID-19 pa.demic,a.d how this risk communica.ion ha. been a.fected by streetlevel hea.th burea.cra.s'perceptions of client mea.ingfulness a.d willingness to implement COVID-19 policies.The results revea. tha. street-level hea.th burea.cra.s in the hea.th risk communica.ion network a.e embedded in reciproca.ly or tra.sitively connected discussion rela.ionships tha. susta.n their hea.th risk communica.ion over time.Moreover,when specific hea.thca.e sta.fmembers perceive more benefits of COVID-19 policies for their pa.ients a.d a.e more willing to ca.e for pa.ients,other hea.thca.e sta.fa.oid them to protect themselves from COVID-19 infection.Due to their higher level of understa.ding of the a.opted mea.ures,hea.thca.e sta.fmembers who a.e highly willing to implement COVID-19 policies a.e frequently a.proa.hed by other sta.fmembers to communica.e a.out COVID-19 issues.This study empirica.ly contributes to the litera.ure on street-level burea.cra.s in times of pa.demic crisis by exa.ining the forma.ion of hea.th risk communica.ions in the context of street-level hea.th burea.cra.s'responses to a.d pa.ticipa.ion in public hea.thca.e policy implementa.ion processes.

Two hundred a.d fifty single first-order a.rhenius rea.tions a.e simula.ed to genera.e S2 pyrogra.s a. three hea.ing ra.es 25,15,a.d 5°C·min-1.The a.tiva.ion energy(E)a.d pre-exponentia. fa.tor(a.of the rea.tions simula.ed follow a.long-esta.lished trend of those va.ia.le va.ues displa.ed by sha.es a.d kerogens.The cha.a.teristics of the tra.sforma.ion fra.tion(TF)profiles(product genera.ion window tempera.ures)of the simula.ed single rea.tions a.e compa.ed to the TF profiles of recorded sha.e pyrogra.s genera.ed by multiple rea.tions with different E-a.va.ues lying nea. the defined E-a.trend.Importa.t simila.ities a.d differences a.e observed between the TF profile va.ues of the two da.a.ets.The simila.ities support the sprea. of E-a.va.ues involved in sha.e pyrogra. best fits.The differences a.e most likely expla.ned by the complexity of the multiple kerogen first-order a.d second-order rea.tions contributing to the recorded sha.e pyrogra.s versus the simplicity a.d crispness of the single first-order rea.tions simula.ed.The results a.so justify the va.idity of using the previously described“va.ia.le E-a.pyrogra.-fitting method”of multi-hea.ing-ra.e sha.e pyrogra.s ena.ling optimizers to choose multiple rea.tions from a. unlimited ra.ge of E-a.va.ues.In contra.t,further doubt is ca.t on the va.idity of the consta.t-a.pyrogra.-fitting method used by the Ea.y%Ro technique,in tha. a.distribution of rea.tions with a.single a.va.ue is unlikely to represent the complex va.iety of kerogen ma.era.s observed in sha.e forma.ions.TF profiles genera.ed by the va.ia.le E-a.pyrogra.-fitting method lie close to the esta.lished E-a.trend a.d a.e likely to provide more rea.istic TF genera.ion window tempera.ures tha. TF profiles genera.ed by the consta.t-a.pyrogra.-fitting method.

Importa.ce: Tongue tie (TT) is a.condition tha. ca. ca.se infa.t feeding difficulties due to restricted tongue movement. When TT presents a. a.significa.t ba.rier to brea.tfeeding, a.frenotomy ma. be recommended. Universa.ly a.cepted dia.nostic criteria.for TT a.e la.king a.d wide preva.ence estima.es a.e reported. New referra. processes a.d a.Frenotomy a.sessment Tool were implemented in one Ca.a.ia. hea.th region to connect brea.tfeeding dya.s with a.provider for TT eva.ua.ion a.d frenotomy.Objective: To determine the proportion of ba.ies with TT a. well a. the frequency of frenotomy.Methods: This cross-sectiona. study included infa.ts who initia.ed brea.tfeeding a. birth a.d were referred for TT eva.ua.ion over a.14-month period. Da.a.were collected retrospectively by cha.t review a.d a.a.yzed using SPSS. Fa.tors a.socia.ed with frenotomy were exa.ined using logistic regression.Results: Two hundred a.d forty-one ba.ies were referred. Ninety-two percent (n = 222) were dia.nosed with TT a.d 66.0% (n = 159) underwent frenotomy. In the multiva.ia.e model, nipple pa.n/tra.ma. ina.ility to la.ch, ina.ility to eleva.e tongue, a.d dimpling of tongue on extension were a.socia.ed with frenotomy (P a.s in our region resulted in a.dia.nosis of TT; however, the number of referra.s wa. lower tha. expected, a.d of these two-thirds underwent frenotomy.Interpreta.ion: TT is a.rela.ively common finding a.ong brea.tfed infa.ts. Future resea.ch should exa.ine whether a.simplified a.sessment tool conta.ning the four items a.socia.ed with frenotomy in our multiva.ia.e model ca. identify brea.tfed infa.ts with TT who require frenotomy.
