Clostridium difficile infection(CDI)has been increasing due to the effect of recurrent *** use of antibiotics has been shown to alter the gut microbiome and lead to *** treatment is limited to three major antibiotics;however,the incidence of recurrent CDIs has been increasing and drug resistance is a major *** aspect is a growing concern in modern medicine especially in the elderly population,critical care patients,and immunocompromised individuals who are at high risk of developing *** difficile can lead to various complications including septic shock and fulminant colitis that could prove to be lethal in these *** modalities of treatment have been developed including bezlotoxumab,a monoclonal antibody and fecal microbiota *** have been studies showing asymptomatic carriers and drug resistance posing a major threat to the healthcare *** treatment options are being studied to treat and prevent *** review will provide an insight into the current treatment modalities,prevention and newer modalities of treatment and challenges faced in the treatment of CDIs.

We report new heterogeneous organocatalyst based on silica hybrid supported N-heterocyclic carbene(NHC-)*** organocatalyst is formed from an imidazolium iodide based ionosilica material,followed by iodide/acetate anion *** imidazolium acetate generates the organocatalytic carbene via partial deprotonation of the imidazolium ring in *** monitored via EDX,solid state NMR and ion chromatography measurements,the iodide/acetate exchange involving the imidazolium ionosilica material took place only in small *** the fact that the exchanged material contains only a very small amount of acetate,we observed good catalytic activity and recyclability in cyanosilylation reactions of ketones with trimethylsilyl *** versatility of the catalyst was highlighted via reaction with several substrates,yielding the corresponding cyanohydrins in good *** recycling experiments,the material showed decreasing catalytic activity starting from the third reaction cycle,but high catalytic activity can be regenerated via another acetate *** work is important as it highlights the possibility to combine carbene chemistry and silica,which are antagonistic at a first *** show that imidazolium acetate based ionosilicas are therefore heterogeneous'proto-carbenes',and that there is no need to form strongly basic silica supported NHCs to obtain heterogeneous *** work therefore opens the route towards heterogeneous and re-usable NHC-organocatalysts from supported ionic liquid imidazolium acetates.

越南学习者汉语愉悦与人格特质的关系研究

近年来,学习者的积极情绪成为了二语习得领域的研究热点。文章通过对107名越南学习者的汉语愉悦和人格特质的考察,探究汉语愉悦与人格特质的关系。结果显示:(1)学习者的总体汉语愉悦水平很高,个人汉语愉悦和汉语教师愉悦是主要的愉悦来源,汉语环境愉悦水平有待提高;(2)学习者的人格特质分布均衡,都具有开放性、尽责性、外向性、亲和性及神经质等五类人格特质;(3)除了神经质人格,其他四类人格特质都与汉语愉悦呈正相关,汉语愉悦水平的提高有助于人格特质的积极发展。文章基于研究结果分析了适合不同人格特质的汉语愉悦提升方式,可为个性化汉语二语教育提供一定的启示。

The incidence of gastrointestinal malignancies has increased over the past decade at an alarming *** and gastric cancers are the third and fifth most commonly diagnosed cancers worldwide but are cited as the second and third leading causes of *** institution of appropriate therapy from timely diagnosis can optimize patient *** intelligence(AI)-assisted diagnostic,prognostic,and therapeutic tools can assist in expeditious diagnosis,treatment planning/response prediction,and post-surgical *** can intercept neoplastic lesions in their primordial stages,accurately flag suspicious and/or inconspicuous lesions with greater accuracy on radiologic,histopathological,and/or endoscopic analyses,and eliminate over-dependence on ***-based models have shown to be on par,and sometimes even outperformed experienced gastroenterologists and *** neural networks(state-of-the-art deep learning models)are powerful computational models,invaluable to the field of precision *** models not only reliably classify images,but also accurately predict response to chemotherapy,tumor recurrence,metastasis,and survival rates *** this systematic review,we analyze the available evidence about the diagnostic,prognostic,and therapeutic utility of artificial intelligence in gastrointestinal oncology.

Herein,a two-node beam element enriched based on the Lagrange and Hermite interpolation function is proposed to solve the governing equation of a functionally graded porous(FGP)curved nanobeam on an elastic foundation in a hygro–thermo–magnetic *** material properties of curved nanobeams change continuously along the thickness via a power-law distribution,and the porosity distributions are described by an uneven porosity *** effects of magnetic fields,temperature,and moisture on the curved nanobeam are assumed to result in axial loads and not affect the mechanical properties of the *** equilibrium equations of the curved nanobeam are derived using Hamilton’s principle based on various beam theories,including the classical theory,first-order shear deformation theory,and higher-order shear deformation theory,and the nonlocal elasticity *** accuracy of the proposed method is verified by comparing the results obtained with those of previous reliable ***,the effects of different parameters on the free vibration behavior of the FGP curved nanobeams are investigated comprehensively.

This article describes GIS-based models successfully developed for predicting the coverage of Cityphone cellular network,visualizing the predicted signal strength,and analyzing the field strength *** order to predict the signal coverage strength of communication network more accurately,the spatial and nonspatial databases of a mobile cellular network are combined by GIS and produce the necessary parameters.A GIS model named COST-231-Walfisch–Ikegami model(WIM)is developed for signal coverage prediction in Ho Chi Minh ***-line-of-sight and nonradio-lineof-sight conditions can be determined by this *** addition,in case of nonradio-line-of-sight conditions,average building height,building separation,building width,incident radio path,and road orientation with respect to the direct radio path were obtained using *** orientation loss,multiscreen diffraction loss,and shadowing gain were predicted more accurate by this *** scale of maps in the experiment was 1:2000 and the average of floor height was 3 m because there were no exact building height *** results show that the path loss predicted by the COST 231 WIM overcame the real path loss of each cell *** this method can be used for signal coverage prediction of mobile cellular network in urban *** to the current situation with the Ho Chi Minh City Posts and Telecommunications system,this model can be effectively applied to improve the Cityphone mobile network quality as well as *** GIS models can help designers in predicting cell station coverage using real spatial maps that make the results more *** research can help network operators improve the network quality and capability with the best investment efficiently.

The development of self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery systems(SNEDDS) to enhance the oral bioavailability of lipophilic drugs is usually based on traditional one-factor-at-a-time approaches. These approaches may be inadequate to analyse the effect of each excipient and their potential interactions on the emulsion droplet size formed when dispersing the SNEDDS in an aqueous environment. The current study investigates the emulsion droplet sizes formed from SNEDDS containing different levels of the natural surfactant monoacyl phosphatidylcholine to reduce the concentration of the synthetic surfactant polyoxyl 40 hydrogenated castor oil(Kolliphor ~? RH40). Monoacyl phosphatidylcholine was used in the form of Lipoid S LPC 80(LPC, containing approximately 80% monoacyl phosphatidylcholine, 13% phosphatidylcholine and 4% concomitant components). The investigated SNEDDS comprised of long-chain or medium-chain glycerides(40% to 75%), Kolliphor ~? RH40(5% to 55%), LPC(0 to 40%) and ethanol(0 to 10%). D-optimal design, multiple linear regression, and partial least square regression were used to screen different SNEDDS within the investigated excipient ranges and to analyse the effect of each excipient on the resulting droplet size of the dispersed SNEDDS measured by dynamic light scattering. All investigated formulations formed nano-emulsions with droplet sizes from about 20 to 200 nm. The use of mediumchain glycerides was more likely to result in smaller and more monodisperse droplet sizes compared to the use of long-chain glycerides. Kolliphor~? RH40 exhibited the most significant effect on reducing the emulsion droplet sizes. Increasing LPC concentration increased the emulsion droplet sizes, possibly because of the reduction of Kolliphor~? RH40 concentration. A higher concentration of ethanol resulted in an insignificant reduction of the emulsion droplet size. Sustaining agricultural production under adverse environ- mental conditions, such as drought and high salinity, rep- resents a major challenge. The discovery of key genes and signal transduction pathways underlying plant responses to environmental stress will play an important role in devel- oping strategies for the genetic improvement of crops to address this challenge. Crop functional genomics has greatly contributed to the identification of abiotic stress-related genes. Current advances in genomic technologies now pro- vide effective and high-throughput methods for identifying stress-related genes at a genome-wide level, especially with the availability of the complete genomic sequence of several model and crop plant species. The development of genetic database resources has allowed bioinformatic approaches to identify stress-tolerant gene families across species based on homology and synteny. Additionally, genome-wide associa- tion studies （GWAS） for complex trait loci in crops have facili- tated the discovery of critical stress-related genes and their favorable alleles.

We study a generalized Cauchy problem associated with a class of impulsive fractional differential inclusions of Sobolev type in Banach spaces. Our aim is to prove the existence of a compact set of globally attracting solutions to the problem in question. An application to fractional partial differential equations subject to impulsive effects is given to illustrate our results.

Ru@RuO2 core-shell nanorods were successfully synthesized by heat-treating Ru nanorods with air oxidation through an accurate control of the temperature and time. The structure, composition, dimension, and adsorption property of the core-shell nanorods were well characterized with XRD and TEM. The catalytic activity and stability were electrochemically evaluated with a rotating disk electrode, a rotating ring-disk electrode, and chronopotentiometric methods. The Ru@RuO2 nanorods reveal excellent bifunctional catalytic activity and robust stability for both oxygen evolution reaction(OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER). The overpotentials for OER and HER are 320 m V and 137 m V at the current density of10 m A cm-2, respectively. The catalytic activity of Ru@RuO2 nanorods for OER is 6.5 times higher than that of the state-of-the-art catalyst IrO2 according to the catalytic current density measured at 1.60 V(versus RHE).The catalytic activity of Ru@RuO2 nanorods for HER is comparable to 40%Pt/C by comparing the catalytic current densities at à0.2 V.
