Improving the ability to assess potential stroke deficit may aid the selection of patients most likely to benefit from acute stroke therapies. Methods based only on ‘at risk’ volumes or initial neurological condition do predict eventual outcome but not perfectly. Given the close relationship between anatomy and function in the brain, we propose the use of a modified version of partial least squares (PLS) regression to examine how well stroke outcome covary with infarct location. The modified version of PLS incorporates penalized regression and can handle either binary or ordinal data. this version is known as partial least squares with penalized logistic regression (PLS-PLR) and has been adapted from its original use for high-dimensional microarray data. We have adapted this algorithm for use in imaging data and demonstrate the use of this algorithm in a set of patients with aphasia (high level language disorder) following stroke.

As an indirect band gap material, Germanium (Ge) has low efficiency of radiative recombination in the wavelength area of about 1550 nm. However, the difference between the direct and indirect band gap is very small (~140 meV) and photoluminescence emission ability of Ge could be greatly enhanced by heavy n-doping process. In this work, Ge growth directly on Si (001) substrate by molecular beam epitaxial (MBE) technique and a high n-doping level in Ge was obtained owning to using GaP decomposition source. The GaP solid source produces P2 molecules instead of P4 molecules, which have higher sticking coefficient than that of P4 comparing to the traditional doping method from PH3 gas precursor molecules. The dependence of optical property on Ge film thickness is also studied. The out-diffusion phenomenon of phosphorus dopant has been observed through SIMS profile analysis. An activated phosphorus concentration can be achieved up to more than 2 × 1019 atoms?cm&minus3 confirmed by Hall effect measurement. this result contributes to realization of Ge-on-Si devices for optoelectronic applications.

Along with the concept, the method of assessing the vulnerability is becoming more and more diversified in many directions and fields. In general, these methods can be classified into two groups：（i） direct-qualitative （survey methods, integrated map ...） and （ii） indirectly-quantitative （method index）. The set of indicator plays a very important role in the successful application to any method and brings reliable results. Each basin or area with different natural geography, economics and society and so on, requires a different set of indicator. However, assessing any river basin in Vietnam needs the basic indicator. this study will establish the basic indicator for the construction of flood vulnerability index in Vietnam.

Lead free (1−x)K0.5Na0.5NbO3-xCa(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 (abbreviated KNN-xCZN) ferroelectric ceramics, with x = 0, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08, 0.10, have been fabricated by the conventional solid-state reaction method. The effects of CZN content on the structure, microstructure and some optical, electrical properties of KNN-xCZN ceramics were studied in detail. The experimental results showed that the crystal structure of ceramics gradually transformed from orthorhombic phase into pseudo-cubic phase with doping of xCa(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3. With increasing of the CZN concentration, the ceramic density increased and reached the highest value (4.29 g/cm3) at x = 0.08 mol, besides, the grain size of the ceramics decreased gradually, the microstructure more uniform, the grains are packed with clear grain boundaries, fewer pores, especially at x = 0.08 mol. With the dense and fine-grained microstructures, the optical transmission of the ceramics is strong, the ceramic sample with x = 0.08 mol exhibits stably high transmittance above 60% in the visible spectrum and the largest optical band gap energy (Eg = 3.0 eV) was obtained. The Curie temperature (TC) decreases when the concentration of CZN increases. The broadness of dielectric peaks around Tm indicated a diffusive phase transition for all compositions suggesting the relaxor-like behavior of KNN-xCZN ceramic systems.

All-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs)possess attractive merits including superior thermal stability and mechanical flexibility for large-area roll-to-roll *** flexible conjugation-break spacers(FCBSs)into backbones of polymer donor(P_(D))or polymer acceptor(P_(A))has been demonstrated as an efficient approach to enhance both the photovoltaic(PV)and mechanical properties of the ***,length dependency of FCBS on certain all-PSC related properties has not been systematically *** this regard,we report a series of new non-conjugated P_(A)s by incorporating FCBS with various lengths(2,4,and 8 carbon atoms in thioalkyl segments).Unlike com-mon studies on so-called side-chain engineering,where longer side chains would lead to better solubility of those resulting polymers,in this work,we observe that the solubilities and the resulting photovoltaic/mechanical properties are optimized by a proper FCBS length(i.e.,C2)in P_(A) named *** all-PSC achieves a high efficiency of 11.37%,and excellent mechanical robustness with a crack onset strain of 12.39%,significantly superior to those of the other P_(A)*** results firstly demonstrate the effects of FCBS lengths on the PV performance and mechanical properties of the all-PSCs,providing an effective strategy to fine-tune the structures of P_(A)s for highly efficient and mechanically robust PSCs.

In recent years, Z-source inverters (ZSI) have been proposed as an replacement power conversion concept which it has both voltage buck and boost abilities. In addition, ZSI doesn’t require dead-time to protection short circuit at two switches any of the same phase leg in the inverter bridge and to achieve optimal harmonic of current, voltage. this paper presents two different control methods (CM) for ZSI. The aim of this study to compare between two modulation methods, there are modi?ed space vector pulse width modulation method (MSVM) and the simple boost control (SBC) about the unique harmonic performance features, the total average and peak switching device power of the inverter system. In addition, this paper also analyzes about the ability exceed modulation index in linear region of two CM using MATLAB/Simulink.

Anterior gradient-2 （AGR2） promotes tumor growth, cell migration and cellular transformation and its enhanced expression is almost completely restricted to malignant tissues, thus making AGR2 an interesting target for the development of immunotherapeutic strategies. We investigated whether the AGR2 molecule comprises human leukocyte antigen （HLA）-A 0201-binding epitopes recognized by human cytotoxic T lymphocytes （CTLs）, which could be targeted in dendritic cell （DC）-based cancer immunotherapy against colorectal cancer （CRC）. We reviewed the sequence of AGR2 for peptides that could potentially bind to HLA-A 0201 with the aid of a computer-based program. Five candidate peptides with different binding scores were synthesized and tested. These peptides were then assessed for their immunogenicity to elicit specific immune responses mediated by CTLs in vitro by means of enzyme-linked immunospot assays and CTL assays. AGR2 was highly expressed in several CRC cell lines, including DK01, DLD1, KM 12C, HCT-8 and HT-29. DCs pulsed with AGR2-P2 （aa 11-19; LLVALSYTL） or AGR2-P4 （aa 127-135; RIMFVDPSL） generated potent CTLs that could lyse T2 cells pulsed with AGR2-P2 or AGR2-P4 and HLA-A0201＋ AGR2-positive CRC cell lines in a strong dose-dependent and HLA-A 0201-restricted manner. In conclusion, these novel epitopes derived from AGR2 protein may be attractive candidates for DC-based immunotherapy for CRC.

随着世界教育发展，越南高等教育在大众化进程中，高校办学自主权慢慢成为越南高等教育的新目的、新方法，用来强化高校的自主创新能力，促进高教育的发展、提高教育质量。越南高校获得财务管理自主权是近年来越南高等教育改革的重大举措。本文运用高校财务管理理论的分析框架，首先对越南高等学校在获得财务管理自主权之前的状况进行分析，其次对越南3所典型大学进行分析。以实行自主财务的自2010年至2012年三年为考察期限，调查其连续三年的财政报告，进行统计分析，并与自主财务之前相比较。在此基础上，论文从经费总量，经费来源渠道与结构，经费使用结构等三个方面，对越南高等学校自主财务前后的变化，优势和存在的问题进行了系统的分析。最后论文以部分发达国家的经验为参照系，并结合越南的实际情况，在宏观和微观两个层面提出了越南高等学校财务管理进一步完善的对策建议。本文研究结果将会给越南教育管理部门和高校内部财务管理提供启发和借鉴。

Assessing the Vulnerability of Agricultural Production Activities in the Coastal Area of Thua thien Hue Province, Vietnam by GIS Analysis Tools

Using Geography Information System (GIS) tools and remote sensing data in assessing the level of vulnerability of agricultural production activities in the coastal area has become more efficient in the recent years. this research has identified the sensitivity index (S) (including the traffic access index;the impact of residential areas;the impacts of industrial zones;the community dependence level), exposure index (E) (the sea level rises to 2100;the temperature change to 2100), the adaptable capacity index (AC) (slope;morphology), thereby synthesizing the vulnerability index (V). Based on the indexes to calculate vulnerability, the high to very high vulnerability area is 37,081.44 ha, accounting for 68.09%;the average vulnerability level is 15,286.49 ha, accounting for 28.07%;the low to very low vulnerability level with an area is 2087.82 ha, accounting for 3.84% of the total area. With a high and very high vulnerability accounting for 68.09%, there will be great influences on the lives of resident in the area, especially agricultural production.
