Unknown Environment Measurement Mapping by Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Using Kalman Filter-Based Low-Cost Estimated Parallel 8-Beam LIDAR

The measurement and mapping of objects in the outer environment have traditionally been conducted using ground-based monitoring systems, as well as satellites. More recently, unmanned aerial vehicles have also been employed for this purpose. The accurate detection and mapping of a target such as buildings, trees, and terrains are of utmost importance in various applications of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including search and rescue operations, object transportation, object detection, inspection tasks, and mapping activities. However, the rapid measurement and mapping of the object are not currently achievable due to factors such as the object's size, the intricate nature of the sites, and the complexity of mapping algorithms. The present system introduces a cost-effective solution for measurement and mapping by utilizing a small unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) equipped with an 8-beam Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) system. This approach offers advantages over traditional methods that rely on expensive cameras and complex algorithm-based approaches. The reflective properties of laser beams have also been investigated. The system provides prompt results in comparison to traditional camera-based surveillance, with minimal latency and the need for complex algorithms. The Kalman estimation method demonstrates improved performance in the presence of noise. The measurement and mapping of external objects have been successfully conducted at varying distances, utilizing different resolutions.

Background Ni-kshay Poshan Yojana (NPY) is a direct benefit transfer scheme of the Government of India introduced in 2018 to support the additional nutritional requirements of persons with TB (PwTB). Our recent nationwide evaluation of implementation and utilization of NPY using programmatic data of PwTB from nine randomly selected Indian states, reported a 70% coverage and high median delay in benefit credit. We undertook a qualitative study between January and July 2023, to understand the detailed implementation process of NPY and explore the enablers and barriers to effective implementation and utilization of the NPY *** We followed a grounded theory approach to inductively develop theoretical explanations for social phenomena through data generated from multiple sources. We conducted 36 in-depth interviews of national, district and field-level staff of the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) and NPY beneficiaries from 30 districts across nine states of India, selected using theoretical sampling. An analytical framework developed through inductive coding of a set of six interviews, guided the coding of the subsequent interviews. Categories and themes emerged through constant comparison and the data collection continued until theoretical *** Stakeholders perceived NPY as a beneficial initiative. Strong political commitment from the state administration, mainstreaming of NTEP work with the district public healthcare delivery system, availability of good geographic and internet connectivity and state-specific grievance redressal mechanisms and innovations were identified as enablers of implementation. A novel NN based rotor flux MRAS to overcome low speed problems for rotor resistance estimation in vector controlled IM drives

This paper presents a new neural network based model reference adaptive system （MRAS） to solve low speed problems for estimating rotor resistance in vector control of induction motor （IM）. The MRAS using rotor flux as the state variable with a two layer online trained neural network rotor flux estimator as the adaptive model （FLUX-MRAS） for rotor resistance estimation is popularly used in vector control. In this scheme, the reference model used is the flux estimator using voltage model equations. The voltage model encounters major drawbacks at low speeds, namely, integrator drift and stator resistance variation problems. These lead to a significant error in the estimation of rotor resistance at low speed. To address these problems, an ofltine trained NN with data incorporating stator resistance variation is proposed to estimate flux, and used instead of the voltage model. The ofttine trained NN, modeled using the cascade neural network, is used as a reference model instead of the voltage model to form a new scheme named as ＂NN-FLUX- MRAS.＂ The NN-FLUX-MRAS uses two neural net- works, namely, otttine trained NN as the reference model and online trained NN as the adaptive model. The performance of the novel NN-FLUX-MRAS is compared with the FLUX-MRAS for low speed problems in terms of integral square error 0SE）, integral time square error （ITSE）, integral absolute error （IAE） and integral time absolute error （ITAE）. The proposed NN-FLUX-MRAS is shown to overcome the low speed problems in Matlab simulation.

Generation of ultra-wide and flat optical frequency comb based on electro absorption modulator

A novel technique is proposed for the generation of ultra-wide and flat optical frequency comb(OFC)based on serially cascading three stages of electro absorption modulators(EAMs)through sinusoidal radio frequency(RF)signals by setting frequencies at f GHz,f/2 GHz and f/4 ***,the first stage acts as subcarrier generator,the second stage acts as subcarrier doubler,and the third stage acts as subcarrier *** addition,a higher number of subcarriers can easily be generated by adjusting the driving sinusoidal RF *** this paper,cascading three stages of EAMs driven by50 GHz,25 GHz and 12.5 GHz clock sources,we obtain 272 subcarriers with spacing of 2.5 GHz and power deviation within 1 d *** analysis of serially cascaded EAMs for subcarrier generation is also *** analysis and simulation of this technique are demonstrated.

Phenotypic heterogeneity of mutations in androgen receptor gene

Androgen receptor （AR） gene has been extensively studied in diverse clinical conditions. In addition to the point mutations, trinucleotide repeat （CAG and GGN） length polymorphisms have been an additional subject of interest and controversy among geneticists. The polymorphic variations in triplet repeats have been associated with a number of disorders, but at the same time contradictory findings have also been reported. Further, studies on the same disorder in different populations have generated different results. Therefore, combined analysis or review of the published studies has been of much value to extract information on the significance of variations in the gene in various clinical conditions. AR genetics has been reviewed extensively but until now review articles have focused on individual clinical categories such as androgen insensitivity, male infertility, prostate cancer, and so on. We have made the first effort to review most the aspects of AR genetics. The impact of androgens in various disorders and polymorphic variations in the AR gene is the main focus of this review. Additionally, the correlations observed in various studies have been discussed in the light of in vitro evidences available for the effect of AR gene variations on the action of androgens.

Non-edible oils obtained from chosen non-conventional woody plants are considered as potential raw materials for biodiesel *** plants mostly grow in *** characteristics of these oils as raw material are very much in tune with the properties of biodiesel such as long-chain hydrocarbon,having an adequate level of unsaturation with branched *** primary methods are being followed to make biodiesel from vegetable *** are direct use through blending,microemulsion,thermal cracking(pyrolysis)and ***-edible oil would eliminate the issue of food vs *** biodiesel manufactured from oils of woody plants may partially reduce the demand for liquid-fuel energy and addresses the environmental consequences of using fossil *** from a total of 17 species of woody plants(Angiosperms)belonging to 14 families are considered in this *** habit,habitat and geographical distribution of each species are also *** physico-chemical properties of their oil,with special reference to the fatty-acid profile that ultimately decides the characteristics of the biodiesel prepared from them,are reviewed.

Antidiabetic activity of aqueous root extract of Merremia tridentata(L.) Hall,*** streptozotocin-induced—diabetic rats

Objective:To investigate the antidiabetic effect of aqueous extract of Merremia Iridentala (***) root(MTRAE) in normal,glucose-loaded hyperglycemic and streptozotoein(STZ)induced diabetic ***:Oral administration of MTRAE at the doses of 50,100 and 150 nig/kg was studied in normal,glucose-loaded and STZ-diabetie *** three doses caused significant reduction in blood glucose levels in all the ***:The effect was more pronounced in 100 and 150 mg/kg than 50 mg/*** also showed significaut increase in serum insulin,body weight and glycogen content in liver and skeletal muscle of STZ-induced dialietie rats while there was significant reduction in the levels of serum triglyceride and total *** also showed significant antilipidperoxidative effect in the pancreas of STZinduced diabetic *** antidiabetic effect of *** was compared with glibenclamide. a well known hypoglycemic ***:The results indicate that aqueous extract of M. tridentata root possesses significant antidiabetic activity.

Isolation and molecular characterization of bioactive secondary metabolites from Callyspongia *** fungi

Objective:To isolate and characterize the bioactive secondary metabolite from Callyspongia *** ***:In vitro antibacterial screening of fungi associated with Callyspongia species,collected from south east coast of India,against selected clinical isolates of bacteria were conducted in this *** extracts showing good antimicrobial activity were subjected to further analysis to identify the active constituents sponge associated fungi(both biomass and filtrate) with five different *** compound responsible for bioactivity was characterized using Fouvier-transform infrared(FT-IR) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) instrumental analysis to identify the functional group and *** molecular characterization of the elite fungal strains were done by isolating their genomic DNA and amplify the internal transcribed spacer(ITS) region of 5.8srRNA using specific ITS primer. The novelty of the strain was proved by BlastN analysis against non-redundant(NR) database and hence was submitted to ***:Active compound was Desmethylnomifensine confirmed by GC-MS and the potent fungi was Aspergillus flavus ***: The isolate exhibits a marked antagonistic activity against potential bacterial pathogens thus illuminating the advanced researches in this decade to focus on clinical pharmacology to identify novel therapeutic *** present study depicts a promising scenario to focus on Aspergillus flavus derived compounds which can be easily scaled up for large biomass production and stable formulation as a drug.

In this paper, a steady-state Markovian multi-server retrial queueing system with Bernoulli vacation scheduling service is studied. Using matrix-geometric approach, various interesting and important system performance measures are obtained. Further, the probability descriptors like ideal retrial and vain retrial are provided. Finally, extensive numerical illustrations are presented to indicate the quantifying nature of the approach to obtain solutions to this queueing system.
