The Role of <sup>18</sup>F-FDG PET/CT in Staging Breast Carcinoma in Hanoi Oncology Hospital, Vietnam

Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the role of 18F-FDG PET/CT scans in staging breast carcinoma. Materials and Methods: A descriptive study on 46 patients who were diagnosed with breast carcinoma in Hanoi Oncology Hospital, Vietnam from June 2019 to June 2021. Those patients underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT scans for pre-treatment staging. Results: There was a positive correlation between the size of primary tumors and their SUV (p lesions. In terms of regional lymph node metastasis detection, the sensitivity and specificity of 18F-FDG PET/CT were 75% and 100%, respectively. The rate of distant metastasis detection was 15.2% (7/46 patients). Metastatic lesions were found in bone, lungs, liver, and lymph nodes. There was a significant difference in SUV among organs (p 18F-FDG PET/CT. After PET/CT, 17.4% patients (8/46) had their treatment plan changed. Conclusions: 18F-FDG PET/CT plays an important role in staging breast carcinoma. Determining accurately the breast carcinoma stage by 18F-FDG PET/CT could help alter treatment strategy to best suit with patients, and avoid unnecessary surgery.

Homogenization is a promising approach to capture the behavior of complex structures like corrugated panels. It enables us to replace high-cost shell models with stiffness-equivalent orthotropic plate alternatives. Many homogenization models for corrugated panels of different shapes have been proposed. However, there is a lack of investigations for verifying their accuracy and reliability. In addition, in the recent trend of development of smoothed finite element methods, the cell-based smoothed three-node Mindlin plate element (CS-MIN3) based on the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT) has been proposed and successfully applied to many analyses of plate and shell structures. Thus, this paper further extends the CS-MIN3 by integrating itself with homogenization models to give homogenization methods. In these methods, the equivalent extensional, bending, and transverse shear stiftriess components which constitute the equivalent orthotropic plate models are represented in explicit analytical expressions. Using the results of ANSYS and ABAQUS shell simulations as references, some numerical examples are conducted to verify the accuracy and reliability of the homogenization methods for static analyses of trapezoidally and sinusoidally corrugated panels.

Effect of three tree species on UV weathering of wood flour-HDPE composites

Eucalyptus urophylla, Acacia mangium, and Pinus caribaea are the primary species for the wood industry in Vietnam. Wood residues of these species were used to reinforce high-density polyethylene(HDPE) composites. The flexural or bending property, impact strength and surface color were evaluated after exposure to accelerated ultraviolet weathering up to 2000 h. The weathered surface was characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy. The results indicate that A. mangium/HDPE composites had the lowest color change and least fading,and remained stable after 1500 h exposure. FTIR spectroscopy showed that the oxidation of the composites increased in parallel with duration of exposure by assessing the concentration of carbonyl groups on the surfaces. SEM showed that all three species reinforced composites exhibited similar severe cracks after 1000 h;however, at the end of the weathering test, E. urophylla and P. caribaea composites were more severely cracked than A. mangium composites. A. mangium also had the highest flexural strength, impact strength and crystallinity duringweathering. A. mangium is the most preferable among the three species to reinforce HDPE.

以废弃酒瓶软木塞为原料,采用低成本、简单的水热方法合成碳量子点。通过TEM、FTIR、Raman、UV-Vis、PL光谱对碳量子点的结构和光学性能进行分析表征。结果表明,碳量子点的平均直径为6.2±2.7 nm,PL激发谱和碳量子点表面的官能团有关。用硫酸奎宁作为参考,碳量子点的量子效率为1.54%。将获得的碳量子点应用在骨髓间充质干细胞的细胞生物成像上,发现用碳量子点处理后,骨髓间充质干细胞分别在320~380 nm、450~490 nm和450~490 nm范围显示绿色、黄色和红色荧光,表明了碳量子点在荧光成像领域具有潜在的应用价值。

为了解城郊差异背景下森林土壤有机碳及其组分、碳库管理指数差异,揭示城郊差异对森林土壤活性有机碳含量及其稳定性的影响机制,于2017年7月至2018年3月对安徽省合肥市城市蜀山国家森林公园与郊区紫蓬山国家森林公园麻栎(Quercus acutissima)林土壤进行分季节采样,系统比较城市和郊区森林土壤总有机碳(SOC)含量及活性有机碳组分[易氧化碳(EOC)、颗粒有机碳(POC)]含量、全氮(TN)含量季节动态特征及碳库管理指数变化特征。结果显示,城区森林土壤SOC、TN、EOC、POC含量明显高于郊区森林土壤,且0~10 cm土层含量显著大于0~20 cm土层(P<0.05),在0~10 cm土层,城市森林土壤SOC、TN含量分别是郊区的1.67、1.45倍,10~20 cm土层城市森林土壤SOC、TN含量分别是郊区的1.95、1.68倍。EOC占SOC的比例表现为郊区大于城市,POC占SOC的比例表现为城市大于郊区;蜀山森林土壤EOC、POC含量有显著的季节变化(P<0.05),表现为夏季高,春秋低;土层深度及季节的交互作用对EOC、POC含量无显著影响;土壤TN、SOC和EOC、POC含量两两之间呈极显著(P<0.001)相关;与城市森林相比,郊区土壤碳氮比(C/N)较低;城市森林土壤碳库活度(A)低于郊区,土壤碳库指数(CPI)高于郊区。在本研究区域,城市森林土壤储存了较多的碳,碳库相对稳定,具有较强的固碳潜力。

Software testing has been attracting a lot of attention for effective software *** model driven approach,Unified Modelling Language(UML)is a conceptual modelling approach for obligations and other features of the system in a model-driven *** tools interpret these models into other software artifacts such as code,test data and *** generation of test cases permits the appropriate test data to be determined that have the aptitude to ascertain the *** paper focuses on optimizing the test data obtained from UML activity and state chart diagrams by using Basic Genetic Algorithm(BGA).For generating the test cases,both diagrams were converted into their corresponding intermediate graphical forms namely,Activity Diagram Graph(ADG)and State Chart Diagram Graph(SCDG).Then both graphs will be combined to form a single graph called,Activity State Chart Diagram Graph(ASCDG).Both graphs were then joined to create a single graph known as the Activity State Chart Diagram Graph(ASCDG).Next,the ASCDG will be optimized using BGA to generate the test data.A case study involving a withdrawal from the automated teller machine(ATM)of a bank was employed to demonstrate the *** approach successfully identified defects in various ATM functions such as messaging and operation.

Objective:To investigate the anti-proliferative effects of 20-hydroxyecdysone isolated from the bark of Dacrycarpus imbricatus(Blume) de ***:Column chromatography was used for isolation of compounds from plant *** structure of the isolated compound was identified by mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance techniques,including HSQC,HMBC,NOE-difference *** isolated compound was tested for its anti-proliferative activity in acute myeloid leukemia(AML) and OCI-AML ***:Compound 1 was isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of Dacrycarpus imbricatus barks by column *** chemical structure was identified as 20-hydroxyecdysone(20HE),a cholestane-type ecdysteroid,by a combination of mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometric *** goal was to test the anti-proliferative activity of 20 HE using the OCI-AML cell line.20 HE significantly decreased OCI cell number at a concentration of 1 mg/mL,whereas lower concentrations were ***,this decrease was due to partial blockage of the G_1/S phase of the cell cycle,with a reduction of cells in the G_2M phase,not due to increased ***:This indicates that 20 HE significantly decreases the number of cells in the G_1/S phase of the cell cycle in human AML *** is the first time that the anti-proliferative activity of 20 HE against a human tumor cell line has been reported.
