This article introduces a novel variant of the generalized linear exponential(GLE)distribution,known as the sine generalized linear exponential(sGLE)*** sGLE distribution utilizes the sine transform.tion to enhance its *** updated distribution is very adaptable and m.y be efficiently used in the m.deling of survival data and dependability *** suggested m.del incorporates a hazard rate function(HRF)that m.y display a rising,J-shaped,or bathtub form.depending on its unique *** m.del includes m.ny well-known lifespan distributions as separate *** suggested m.del is accom.anied with a range of statistical *** m.del param.ters are exam.ned using the techniques of m.xim.m.likelihood and Bayesian estim.tion using progressively censored *** order to evaluate the effectiveness of these techniques,we provide a set of sim.lated data for testing *** relevance of the newly presented m.del is shown via two real-world dataset applications,highlighting its superiority over other respected sim.lar m.dels.

The availability of nitrogen(N)is crucial for both the productivity of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystem. ***,the overuse of artificial fertilizers and the energy required to fix nitrogen have pushed the global nitrogen cycle(N-cycle)past its safe operating lim.ts,leading to severe nitrogen pollution and the production of significant am.unts of greenhouse gas nitrous oxide(N2O).The anaerobic am.onium.oxidation(anam.ox)m.chanism.can counteract the release of am.onium.and N2O in m.ny oxygenlim.ted situations,assisting in the restoration of the hom.ostasis of the Earth’s N *** this work,we looked into the characteristics of the anam.ox hotspots’distribution across various types of ecosystem. *** hotspots are present at diverse oxic-anoxic interfaces in terrestrial system.,and they are m.st prevalent at the oxic-anoxic transition zone in aquatic *** on the discovery of an anam.ox hotspot capable of oxidizing am.onium.anoxically into N2 without N2O by-product,we then designed an innovative concept and technical routes of nature-based anam.ox hotspot geoengineering for clim.te change,biodiversity loss,and efficient utilization of water *** 15 years of actual use,anam.ox hotspot geoengineering has proven to be effective in ensuring clean drinking water,regulating the clim.te,fostering plant and anim.l diversity,and enhancing longterm.environm.ntal *** sustainable biogeoengineering of anam.ox could be a workable natural rem.dy to resolve the conflicts between environm.ntal pollution and food security connected to N m.nagem.nt.

A CFD-DEm.m.del is developed for chem.cal vapour deposition of silane in a fluidized bed reactor to investigate the effect of polydispersity on local phase dynam.cs,m.ss and heat transport,as well as the rate of si *** gas-phase fines form.tion and heterogeneous deposition on the seed particle,as well as the scavenging effect for si particle growth,are *** m.thod is first validated against the experim.ntally m.asured si deposition rate,percentage of fine production and m.nim.m.fluidisation ***,the properties,prim.rily particle interm.xing,fluidisation behaviour and bubble dynam.cs along with the deposition process,are analyzed for several polydisperse beds under various operating *** effect of polydispersity of the bed on a fraction of the bubble size,dense phase expansion and interchange coefficient between various phases is thoroughly investigated to establish a correlation with reactor *** results show that broad-Gaussian particle size distribution(PsD)exhibits excellent im.rovem.nt in fluidisation behaviour,resulting in a high deposition rate,and m.nim.m.form.tion of si fines.

Therm.l energy storage(TEs) system. use solar energy despite its irregular availability and day-night tem.erature *** work reports the therm.l characterizations of solar salt-based phase change com.osites in the presence of graphene nanoplatelets(GNP).solar salt(60:40 of NaNO_(3):KNO_(3)) possessing phase transition tem.erature and m.lting enthalpy of 221.01℃ and 134.58 kJ/kg is proposed as a phase change m.terial(PCm. for high-tem.erature solar-based energy storage *** conductivity m.st be im.roved to m.ke them.suitable for widespread applications and to close the gap between the system.needs where they are *** is added at weight concentrations of 0.1%,0.3%,and 0.5% with solar salt using the ball m.lling m.thod to boost its therm.l *** studies indicated the form.tion of a uniform.surface of GNP on solar *** spectrum.peaks identified the physical interaction between salt and *** characterization of the com.osites,such as therm.l conductivity,DsC and TGA was carried out for the sam.les earlier and later 300 therm.l cycles.0.5% of GNP has im.roved the therm.l conductivity of salt by 129.67% and after therm.l cycling,the enhancem.nt reduced to 125.21% indicating that therm.l cycling has a m.nor im.act on therm.l *** change tem.erature decreased by around 2.32% in the presence of0.5% GNP and the latent heat reduced by 4.34% after therm.l *** therm.gram. depicted the com.osites initiated the weight loss at around 550℃ after which it was *** therm.l cycling,the weight loss initiated at ~40℃ lower com.ared to pure salt,which was found to be a m.nor *** characterization of solar salt and GNP-based solar salt com.osites revealed that the com.osites can be used for enhanced heat transfer in high-tem.erature solar-based heat transfer and energy storage applications.

This paper investigates the fundam.ntal sensing m.chanism.of electrostatic m.m. gas *** com.ares am.ng the responsivities of a set of m.m. isopropanol sensors before and after functionalization,and in the presence and absence of electrostatic fields when operated in static and dynam.c detection *** the static m.de,we found that the sensors do not exhibit a m.asurable change in displacem.nt due to added *** the other hand,bare sensors showed a clear change in displacem.nt in response to isopropanol *** the dynam.c m.de,functionalized sensors showed a m.asurable frequency shift due to the added m.ss of isopropanol *** the presence of strong electrostatic fields,the m.asured frequency shift was found to be threefold larger than that in their absence in response to the sam. concentration of isopropanol *** enhanced responsivity of dynam.c detection allows the sensors to m.asure the vapor m.ss captured by the functional m.terial,which is not the case for static *** detection of isopropanol by bare sensors in static m.de shows that change in the m.dium.perm.ttivity is the prim.ry sensing *** enhanced responsivity of dynam.c m.de sensors when operated in strong electrostatic fields shows that their sensing m.chanism.is a com.ination of a weaker added m.ss effect and a stronger perm.ttivity *** findings show that electrostatic m.m. gas sensors are independent of the direction of the gravitational field and are,thus,robust to changes in *** is erroneous to refer to them.as‘gravim.tric’sensors.

A pair of unidirectional turbines(UT)can operate in oscillatory airflow without additional ***,this arrangem.nt suffers from.poor flow rectification.A fluidic diode(FD)offers variable hydrodynam.c resistance based on the flow direction,and this can be coupled with UT to im.rove flow *** this work,a num.rical investigation on the effect of FD with UT is presented using the com.ercial fluid dynam.cs software ANsYs Fluent 16.1 with k-ωssT turbulence closure *** dom.ins of UT and FD are num.rically validated individually with experim.ntal ***,both are coupled to obtain the com.ined effect,and these results are com.ared with the analytical *** was observed that coupling FD with UT im.roved the unit's perform.nce at the lower flow coefficient(s perform.nce decreased as the flow coefficient *** to the diode's presence,fluid leaving the turbine experiences higher resistance at a higher flow coefficient,which decreases the overall perform.nce of the com.ined unit.

In this study,we investigate m.dm.x electrodynam.cs localized within the Randall-sundrum.Ⅱ and Dvali-Gabadadze-Porrati branes,deriving corresponding 3-brane spacetim. solutions that conform.to the effective Einstein equations in each specific *** construct solutions for charged black holes within the effective Einstein equation fram.work in both braneworld *** exam.nation explores the trajectories of charged objects in this spacetim.,underscoring the significance of the nonlinear *** analysis uncovers the fact that,sim.lar to the prior m.dm.x black hole investigation,the nonlinear param.ter plays a pivotal role in suppressing the effective charge of the black hole,due to its definite positive value.
