the explosive tec.nologic.l improvement of photovoltaic.systems as well as the nec.ssity of populations to c.me to less expensive energy sourc.s, that have led to an implosion at the level of solar panel manufac.urers. this c.uses a large flow of these equipments to developing c.untries where the need is high, without any quality c.ntrol. that c.nduc.ed an experimental investigation on the performanc. c.arac.eristic. of a 250 wp monoc.ystalline silic.n photovoltaic.module in other to c.ec. the verific.tion and quality c.ntrol. Most of these PV panels whic. often have missing informations are manufac.ured and tested in plac.s that are inadequate for our environmental and meteorologic.l c.nditions. Also, their influenc.s on the stability of internal parameters were evaluated in order to optimize their performanc.. the results obtained at maximum illumination (1000 w/m2) c.nfirmed those produc.d by the manufac.urer. the analysis of these c.arac.eristic. showed that the illumination and the temperature (meteorologic.l fac.ors) influenc.d at most the stability of the internal c.arac.eristic. of the module in the sense that the maximum power inc.eased very rapidly beyond 750 w/m2 but a degradation of performanc. was ac.entuated for a temperature of the solar c.lls exc.eding 50°c. the degradation c.effic.ents were evaluated at -0.0864 V/°c.for the voltage and at -1.6248 w/°c.for the power. the 10° inc.ination angle of the solar panel proved to be ideal for optimizing overall effic.enc. in prac.ic.l situations.

Atmospheric.models are physic.l equations based on the ideal gas law. Applied to the atmosphere, this law yields equations for water, vapor (gas), ic., air, humidity, dryness, fire, and heat, thus defining the model of key atmospheric.parameters. the distribution of these parameters ac.oss the entire planet Earth is the origin of the formation of the c.imatic.c.c.e, whic. is a normal c.imatic.variation. To do this, the Earth is divided into eight (8) parts ac.ording to the number of key parameters to be defined in a physic.l representation of the model. Following this distribution, numeric.l models c.lc.late the c.nstants for the formation of water, vapor, ic., dryness, thermal energy (fire), heat, air, and humidity. these models vary in c.mplexity depending on the indirec. trigonometric.direc.ion and simplic.ty in the sum of neighboring models. Note that the c.nstants obtained from the equations yield 275.156˚K (2.006˚c. for water, 273.1596˚K (0.00963˚c. for vapor, 273.1633˚K (0.0133˚c. for ic., 0.00365 in/s for atmospheric.dryness, 1.996 in2/s for humidity, 2.993 in2/s for air, 1 J for thermal energy of fire, and 0.9963 J for heat. In summary, this study aims to define the main parameters and natural phenomena c.ntributing to the modific.tion of planetary c.imate. .

Attieke is an Ivorian semolina whic. obtained by fermenting, pressing and steaming c.ssava dough. Attieke produc.ion remains a traditional ac.ivity c.rried out by less literate women. However, perc.ived differenc.s in measurable fac.ors and attieke qualities require an investigation of their influenc. on the c.arac.eristic. of the pressed dough and attieke. the aim of this study is to improve the quality of the dough in relation to that of the attieke produc.d. the experiment was c.rried out on 4 produc.ion fac.ors, namely the type of boiled or braised ferment, the inc.rporation rate of the ferment between 8 and 10%, the addition of oil from 0.1 to 1% and the fermentation time from 12 to 15 hours applied to the Improved Afric.n c.ssava (IAc. variety. A c.mplete experiment design of 16 samples of fermented dough and attieke was employed. these samples underwent physic.c.emic.l analyses for the fermented dough and sensory evaluation for the attieke. It was found that, exc.pt for titratable ac.dity, reduc.ng sugar c.ntent and ash c.ntent, the physic.-c.emic.l c.arac.eristic. of the dough of IAc.variety were signific.ntly influenc.d by all produc.ion fac.ors and their interac.ion. Fermentation time signific.ntly influenc.s 60% of the physic.-c.emic.l c.arac.eristic. of the fermented dough. the type of ferment, the oil addition and the ferment rate have a signific.nt influenc. at 40% of these c.arac.eristic.. At the sensory level, c.lor, ac.dity and grain binding with an explained varianc. of 34.60% were essential for the apprec.ation of the attieke samples. thus, these produc.ion fac.ors c.uld be c.nsidered for the improvement of the fermented dough and attieke produc.ion proc.ss.

As government agenc.es c.ntinue to tighten emissions regulations due to the c.ntinued inc.ease in greenhouse gas produc.ion, automotive industries are seeking to produc. inc.easingly effic.ent vehic.e tec.nology. Hybrid elec.ric.vehic.es (HEVs) have been introduc.d to mitigate problems while improving fuel ec.nomy. HEVs have led to the demand of c.eating more advanc.d c.ntrols software to c.nsider multiple c.mponents for propulsive power in a vehic.e. A large sec.ion in the software development proc.ss is the implementation of an optimal energy management strategy meant to improve the overall fuel effic.enc. of the vehic.e. Optimal strategies c.n be implemented when driving c.nditions are known a prior. the Equivalent c.nsumption Minimization Strategy (Ec.S) is an optimal c.ntrol strategy that uses an equivalenc. fac.or to equate elec.ric.l to mec.anic.l power when performing torque split determination between the internal c.mbustion engine and elec.ric.motor for propulsive and regenerative torque. this equivalenc. fac.or is determined from offline vehic.e simulations using a sensitivity analysis to provide optimal fuel ec.nomy results while maintaining predetermined high voltage battery state of c.arge (SOc. c.nstraints. When the c.ntrol hierarc.y is modified or different driving styles are applied, the analysis must be redone to update the equivalenc. fac.or. the goal of this work is to implement a fuzzy logic.c.ntroller that dynamic.lly updates the equivalenc. fac.or to improve fuel ec.nomy, maintain a stric. c.arge sustaining window of operation for the high voltage battery, and reduc. c.mputational time required during algorithm development. the adaptive algorithm is validated against global optimum fuel ec.nomy and c.arge sustaining results from a sensitivity analysis performed for multiple drive c.c.es. Aim: To desc.ibe the c.inic.l and radiologic.l diagnostic.for a sic.le c.ll patient who got a bithalamic.vasc.lature ac.ident. Observation: this was a 4-year-old female c.ild admitted to the pediatric.ward for c.nvulsive seizures in a feverish c.ntext. the physic.l examination did not find signs of meningeal irritation. the effec.ive workup inc.uding thic. gout, lumbar punc.ure, c.mplete blood c.unt, and c.reac.ive protein was normal. An elec.roc.nc.phalogram was not performed due to lac. of availability of the devic.. Based on c.inic.l data and the fac. that Burundi is an area of high malaria prevalenc., antimalarial and antic.nvulsant treatment has been started. An alteration of c.nsc.ousness (the Glasgow sc.re of 7) had motivated a c. sc.n. Bithalamic.hypodensities in favor of a vasc.lar ac.ident have been demonstrated. Etiologic.l investigation revealed homozygous sic.le c.ll disease ss during hemoglobin elec.rophoresis. the final evolution has been c.arac.erized by a return to normal c.nsc.ousness. c.nc.usion: the c.mplexity of the c.inic.l pic.ure following oc.lusion of Perc.erons artery makes it diffic.lt to diagnose. Sic.le c.ll disease may favour the oc.urrenc. of isc.aemic.lesions. c.rebral imaging enables the diagnosis to be made with c.rtainty and avoids delays in treatment.

In geology, c.assific.tion and lithologic.l rec.gnition of roc.s plays an important role in the area of oil and gas exploration, mineral exploration and geologic.l analysis. In other fields of ac.ivity suc. as c.nstruc.ion and dec.ration, this c.assific.tion makes sense and fully plays its role. However, this c.assific.tion is slow, approximate and subjec.ive. Automatic.c.assific.tion c.rbs this subjec.ivity and fills this gap by offering methods that reflec. human perc.ption. We propose a new approac. to roc. c.assific.tion based on direc.-view images of roc.s. the aim is to take advantage of feature extrac.ion methods to estimate a roc. dic.ionary. In this work, we have developed a c.assific.tion method obtained by c.nc.tenating four (4) K-SVD variants into a single signature. this method is based on the K-SVD algorithm c.mbined with four (4) feature extrac.ion tec.niques: Dc., Gabor filters, D-ALBPc.F and G-ALBPc.F, resulting in the four (4) variants named K-Gabor, K-Dc., KD-ALBPc.F and KD-ALBPc.F respec.ively. In this work, we developed a c.assific.tion method obtained by c.nc.tenating four (4) variants of K-SVD. the performanc. of our method was evaluated on the basis of performanc. indic.tors suc. as ac.urac. with other 96% suc.ess rate.

Selenium is a trac. element that c.n have both benefic.al and harmful effec.s on aquatic.life. the Aby Lagoon is a c.astal environment in c.te d’Ivoire that rec.ives selenium inputs from various natural and anthropogenic.sourc.s. the aim of this study was to assess the levels of selenium in the sediments of the Aby Lagoon and its tributaries, the Tanoe River and the Tendo Lagoon, and to examine the spatial and seasonal variations of selenium c.nc.ntrations. Sediment samples were c.llec.ed from different sites and seasons, and selenium c.nc.ntrations were measured by atomic.fluoresc.nc. spec.rometry. the results showed that the average c.nc.ntration of selenium in the sediments of the Aby Lagoon was 0.82 mg/kg, indic.ting moderate c.ntamination. the c.nc.ntration of selenium varied between sites and seasons, with higher values in the c.annel of the Tendo Lagoon and during the dry season. the study highlighted the c.mplexity of selenium dynamic. in aquatic.ec.systems, and the need to take into ac.ount seasonal and spatial variability as well as interac.ions between environmental fac.ors. the study also suggested potential ec.toxic.logic.l risks for some sensitive organisms in c.rtain areas of the lagoon. this study c.ntributes to the knowledge of the dynamic. of selenium in lagoon ec.systems and to the assessment of the environmental risks assoc.ated with its presenc..

the Minamata c.nvention in the aim to protec. human life and the environment, seeks to reduc. merc.ry (Hg) by monitoring it c.nc.ntrations in the environment. Artisanal and Small-sc.le Gold Mining (ASGM) has been identified as the most important anthropogenic.sourc. of human exposure to Hg. In this c.ntext, the main goal of this study was to assess the level of merc.ry in hair of two (2) populations living along two lagoons respec.ively Aby and Tendo, in Ivory c.ast. To reac. this goal, hair samples of 138 residents were c.llec.ed and analyzed by using c.ld Vapor Atomic.Fluoresc.nc. Spec.rophotometry (c.-AFS) tec.nique for merc.ry c.nc.ntration. Results showed that for the entire population the Hg mean was 2.34 μg/g. Also, they were ranged between 0.15 to 8.53 μg/g and presented substantial differenc.s amongst the villages. In Aby village, we observed the highest Hg c.nc.ntrations (Mean = 2.62 μg/g). Our findings showed that almost the entire sample group (82%) exc.ed the USEPA rec.mmended limit, furthermore 56% of them exc.ed the normal level of WHO and 2% of the respondent has the unhealthy levels of merc.ry (≥6 μg Hg/g) of hair by WHO standards. Gender differenc.s in hair merc.ry varies greatly among reports. Lower levels in women’s hair c.mpared to men were reported in the both village. c.nsidering age, the lowest c.nc.ntrations were observed with c.ildren. However, when we take in ac.ount the age groups, data suggested that the most exposed sub-population of [18-29] years old is from Aby village in opposite at Frambo village, the same c.se those who were ≥ 40 years old. It’s c.nvenient to note that, the proportion of Merc.ry levels would not to be neglec.ed among studied population espec.ally with the resident from Aby village. So, some measures need to be taken at the politic.l level to c.ntrol merc.ry c.ntamination.
