this conference report summarizes recent progress in plasma theory and simulation that was presented in contributed papers and discussions at the 11th Conference on Magnetic Confined Fusion theory and Simulation(CMCFTS)held in Chengdu,China,27–30 October,*** in various fields has been *** example,results on zonal flow generation by mode coupling,simulations of the key physics of divertor detachment,energetic particle effects on magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)modes in addition to ion-and electron-scale turbulence,physics of edge coherent modes and edge-localized modes,and the optimization of ion heating schemes as well as confinement scenarios using advanced integrated modeling are presented at the *** this conference,the scientific research groups were organized into six categories:(a)edge and divertor physics;(b)impurity,heating,and current drive;(c)energetic particle physics;(d)turbulent transport;(e)MHD instability;and(f)integrated modeling and code development.A summary of the highlighted progress in these working groups is presented.

Micro-LEDs(μLEDs) have advantages in terms of brightness, power consumption, and response speed. In addition, they can also be used as micro-sensors implanted in the body via flexible electronic skin. One of the key techniques involved in the fabrication of μLED-based devices is transfer printing. Although numerous methods have been proposed for transfer printing, improving the yield of μLED arrays is still a formidable task. In this paper, we propose a novel method for improving the yield of μLED arrays transferred by the stamping method, using an innovative design of piezoelectrically driven asymmetric micro-gripper. Traditional grippers are too large to manipulate μLEDs, and therefore two micro-sized cantilevers are added at the gripper tips. A μLED manipulation system is constructed based on the micro-gripper together with a three-dimensional positioning system. Experimental results using this system show that it can be used successfully to manipulate μLED arrays.

Coal-gangue object detection has attracted substantial attention because it is the core of realizing vision-based intelligent and green coal separation. However, most existing studies have been focused on laboratory datasets and prioritized model lightweight. this makes the coal-gangue object detection challenging to adapt to the complex and harsh scenes of real production environments. therefore, our project collected and labeled image datasets of coal and gangue under real production conditions from a coal preparation plant. We then designed a one-stage object model, named STATNet, following the “backbone-neck-head” architecture with the aim of enhancing the detection accuracy under industrial coal preparation scenarios. the proposed model utilizes Swin Transformer as backbone module to extract multi-scale features, improved path augmentation feature pyramid network (iPAFPN) as neck module to enrich feature fusion, and task-aligned head (TAH) as head module to mitigate conflicts and misalignments between classification and localization tasks. Experimental results on a real-world industrial dataset demonstrate that the proposed STATNet model achieves an impressive AP50 of 89.27 %, significantly surpassing several state-of-the-art baseline models by 2.02 % to 5.58 %. Additionally, it exhibits stronger robustness in resisting image corruption and perturbation. these findings demonstrate its promising prospects in practical coal and gangue separation applications.

In this correspondence,we establish mean convergence theorems for the maximum of normed double sums of Banach space valued random *** of the results pertain to random elements which are *** expand and improve a number of particular cases in the literature on mean convergence of random elements in Banach *** of the main contributions of the paper is to simplify and improve a recent result of Li,Presnell,and Rosalsky[Journal of Mathematical Inequalities,16,117–126(2022)].A new maximal inequality for double sums of M-dependent random elements is proved which may be of independent *** sharpness of the results is illustrated by four examples.

We use interferometric synthetic aperture radar （InSAR） and broadband seismic waveform data to estimate a source model of the 11th July, 2004 M W 6.2 Zhongba earthquake, Tibet of China. this event occurred within the seismically active zone of southwestern Tibetan Plateau where the east-west extension of the upper crust is observed. Because of limitations in one pair of InSAR data available, there are trade-offs among centroid depth, rupture area and amount of slip. Available seismic data tightly constrain the focal mechanism and centroid depth of the earthquake but not the horizontal location. Together, two complementary data sets can be used to identify the actual fault plane, better constrain the slip model and event location. We first use regional seismic waveform to estimate point source mechanism, then InSAR data is used to obtain better location. Finally, a joint inversion of teleseismic P-waves and InSAR data is performed to obtain a distributed model. Our preferred point source mechanism indicates a seismic moment of ～2.2×10 18 N·m （～M W 6.2）, a fault plane solution of 171° （342 ° ）/42 ° （48 ° ）/-83 ° （-97 ° ）, corresponding to strike/dip/rake, and a depth of 11 km. the fault plane with strike of 171 ？ and dip of 42° is identified as the ruptured fault with the aid of InSAR data. the preferred source model features compact area of slips between depth of 5–11 km and 10 km along strike with maximum slip amplitude of about 1.5 m.

the landscape of human resource management within large enterprises necessitates efficient and unbiased recruitment practices to ensure organisational effectiveness and foster diversity(Ayoko&Fujimoto,2023).Traditional hiring processes often create biases,which cause additional challenges in achieving proper objectives(Bogen,2021).According to Workable(***),the average time to fill a job requisition is 41 days(Howden,2023).this paper proposes a framework for the development and implementation of an Artificially Capable Intelligent(ACI)-powered Human Resource(HR)Assistant for large enterprises(possibly more than 300 employees)to eliminate these unnecessary challenges caused by biases in hiring practices,therefore directly addressing fair and just participation in society and the world of *** framework integrates ACI technologies,particularly candidate identification,to revolutionise HR *** leveraging ACI algorithms,the proposed hyper-realistic assistant aims to revolutionise the recruitment *** will significantly reduce the average time to fill job ***,the ACI-powered system is designed to mitigate biases inherent in traditional hiring practices,thus fostering a fair and inclusive environment for all candidates in the shortest possible time *** paper includes the key components and working processes of the ACI-powered HR Assistant *** a comprehensive theoretical analysis,the paper investigates the system’s working process and how the framework aligns with the goal of promoting a fair and participatory environment in the world of ***,the proposed framework represents a main step towards enhancing organisational effectiveness,fostering diversity,and advancing equitable recruitment practices in the futuristic workplace.

Cancer is one of the deadliest diseases in developing countries. In recent years, natural plant-based compounds have been used in the search for drugs to combat numerous diseases, including cancer. In this study, we evaluate the cytotoxic properties of paanfo tiben 1 and paanfo tiben 2, two traditional herbal formulations from Burkina Faso used in the treatment of cancer in Burkina Faso. To this end, the recipes were infused and freeze-dried. the dry extracts obtained were used to determine total phenolics and flavonoids content, assess antioxidant activity using the DPPH, ABTS and FRAP methods, evaluate anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting 15-LOX, COX 1 and 2, and assess cytotoxic activity on HeLa cervical cancer and HePG2 liver cancer cell lines using the MTT test. the paanfo tiben 1 recipe showed the highest levels of total phenolics and flavonoids, as well as the best antioxidant activities, with IC50 values of 21.020 ± 0.6 µg/ml and 22.94 ± 0.57 µg/ml for DPPH and ABTS, and 165.15 mM EAA/mg dry extract for FRAP. It also exhibited the best cytotoxic activity with IC50 values of 112.02 ± 0.025 µg/ml on HeLa cells and 80.67 ± 6.08 µg/ml on HepG2 cells. On the other hand, paanfo tiben 2 exhibited the best anti-inflammatory activities through inhibition of 15-LOX and COX 1, with inhibition percentages at 100 µg/ml of 32.523% and 24.717 % respectively. these results could justify the traditional use of these two recipes by traditional health practitioners in the treatment of cancer sufferers in Burkina Faso.

Today, the advent of quantum computers and algorithms is calling into question the semantic security of symmetrical and asymmetrical cryptosystems. the security of objects connected to the network, which must provide a security service and protect the privacy of users by providing protection against attacks such as identity theft, denial of service, eavesdropping and unauthorised access to personal and sensitive data. It is therefore necessary to find a robust method of using the key that is effective in protecting and preventing data tampering. In this paper, we design and implement a security and data protection method using a key generated on the basis of electromagnetic wave propagation theories.
