Major aortopulmonary collateral arteries (MAPCAs) are congenital vessels that arise from the aorta or its first-order branches and are distally connected to the pulmonary arterial vasculature, thereby providing pulmonary blood flow. MAPCAs are often associated with cyanotic congenital heart disease with decreased pulmonary blood flow. Isolated MAPCAs are rare in patients without congenital heart disease with structurally normal hearts. Sometimes, isolated congenital MAPCAs can occur without any lung disease. Isolated MAPCAs represent the occurrence of collaterals in the absence of underlying heart disease, which commonly presents as heart failure, recurrent respiratory tract infection, and pulmonary artery hypertension. We report a rare case of congestive heart failure in a 6-year-old patient with dual arterial supply to an otherwise normal right lung, with a normal bronchial tree, and a structurally normal heart. The patient was successfully managed by the closure of collaterals by Amplatzer vascular plugs II (AVPII) and Amplatzer Piccolo Occluders.

Coronary artery fistula (CAF) is an anomaly making a coronary artery communicate with a heart cavity or a great vessel, thus bypassing the myocardial capillary bed. CAF is frequently diagnosed as an incidental finding. Herein, we present the case of a 4-year-old boy. He was referred for a pediatric cardiology assessment due to a continuous murmur at the middle sternal border. Echocardiogram showed dilated left coronary artery and an abnormal diastolic flow in the right atrium. The right-sided chambers were slightly enlarged, but ventricular contractility was normal. CAF was suspected. Angiography and CT confirmed the diagnosis of coronary fistula from the circumflex coronary artery to the right atrium. Successful transcatheter closure with an Amplatzer PiccoloOccluder was performed with complete occlusion.

To the Editor： With the increase of human noncommunicable disease （NCD） and the release of Big Health Data in China in March 2015, people need to call for more effective action to address the challenges posed by NCD. For example, according to the latest evidence in the Global Burden of Disease Study 2013, for most cotlntries, NCD remains a leading cause of death. In general, people accept the preventive, predictive, personalized, and participation, or ＂4P＂ medical model from treatment to prevention as an effective strategy. For example, exceptional responders can help scientists predict the responses of many patients with cancer. Therefore, the authors propose adding another ＂P＂, that is, ＂Platform＂ to the medical model. Constructing new platform that may help people tackle the increase of NCD in China, and globally, is a further challenge.

This paper briefly review severe acute respiratory syndrome, a devastating disease which broke out 15 years ago, and its treatment strategies. With the newly discovered SARSr-CoV strain in Yunnan, China, and the help of new technologies such as RNA interference, DNA vaccines, CRISPR technology and base editing, and intervention of RT-ABCDEF(iRT-ABCDEF), a standardized comprehensive program, people can better fight severe acute respiratory syndrome and other major virus-communicable diseases like highly pathogenic avian influenza and dengue fever with these powerful tools in the future.

The purpose of this article is to briefly introduce the status and challenges of major noncommunicable diseases （mNCDs）, which include cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cancer, as well as related risk factors, such as environmental pollution, smoking, obesity and sleep disorders. ＂S-E-E-D＂ rules or the strategies of ＂S-E-E-D＂ intervention （SEEDi） consist of four core healthy elements： sleep, emotion, exercise and diet. The history of SEEDi1.0-3.0 is also introduced, which includes versions 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 3.0 of the program. These guidelines are suitable for prevention and control of mNCDs. Not only the ＂Healthy China＂ initiated in China＇s ＂13th Five-year Plan,＂ but also the ＂Healthy World＂ philosophy needs SEEDi1.0-3.0 strategies for control of mNCDs.

This article briefly reviews and discusses the current status of major non-communicable diseases(m NCDs), definition of e-noise, its possible link as a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases and other m NCDs, and proposes possible mechanisms and hypotheses on that link, and how to control e-noise in the future. E-noise is defined as signal from electronic products and instruments that emit radiation and electromagnetic fields. It includes not only the acoustic but also non-acoustic noise. Just like road traffic and aircraft noises, e-noise may not only lead to hearing loss and health problems such as fatigue,stress, irritability, headache, and insomnia, but may also endanger cardiovascular health and result in hypertension, ischemic heart disease(myocardial infarction), arrhythmia(atrial fibrillation) and stroke;brain and metabolic problems such as obesity and diabetes;mental and cognitive impairment;as well as changing of humans’ long-evolved cortisol and circadian rhythms after long-term exposure. Even shortterm exposure to excessive e-noise may lead to heightened stress responses and low quality of life. In conclusion, e-noise is a potential danger in our world, and further studies are needed of its effects on mechanisms of aging, disease, and human health.

To the Editor： As we all known, structure determines and influences biological function and mechanisms. Biological structure-editing （SE） means by using those magical and novel technologies （including single, multiple, or hybrid） with biological hazard and challenge to edit or reform known and disclosed biological structures of different levels so that people can translate SE into basic research or clinical application. As a new branch of structure biology, the authors think that its field focuses mainly on several facets.
