Lonicera japonica Thunb.,a traditional Chinese herb,has been used for treating human diseases for thousands of ***,the genome of *** has been decoded,providing valuable information for research into gene ***,no comprehensive database for gene functional analysis and mining is available for *** therefore constructed LjaFGD(***/LjaFGD and ***/LjaFGD),a database for analyzing and comparing gene function in *** constructed a gene co-expression network based on 77 RNA-seq samples,and then annotated genes of *** by alignment against protein sequences from public *** also introduced several tools for gene functional analysis,including Blast,motif analysis,gene set enrichment analysis,heatmap analysis,and *** co-expression network revealed that MYB and WRKY transcription factor family genes were co-expressed with genes encoding key enzymes in the biosynthesis of chlorogenic acid and luteolin in *** used flavonol synthase 1(LjFLS1)as an example to show the reliability and applicability of our *** and its various associated tools will provide researchers with an accessible platform for retrieving functional information on *** genes to further biological discovery.

String-pulling is one of the most widely used paradigms in an imal cog nition research. We in vestigated how azure-wi nged magpies Cyanopica cyan us solve multiple-string problems that they have never encountered before. In Experiment 1, the strings were arranged in parallel, slanted, or crossed to investigate what rules azure-winged magpies use to solve multiple spatial relations of strings. Experiment 2 assessed whether the subjects understood the connection between the string and the bait while taking advantage of broken strings. In Experiment 3, the subjects were confronted with strings of different lengths attached to rewards in order to explore whether the string length, as a proxy for the pulling efficiency or reward distanee, was crucial for the birds' choice of which string to pull. Gen erally, the birds were successful in tasks where the reward was close to the correct string's end, and they relied on a "proximity rule" in most cases. The results showed that azure-winged magpies had a partial understanding of the physical principles underlying the string-pulling but were stumped by complex spatial relations. They likely relied on simple strategies such as the proximity rule to solve the tasks. The effects of in dividual difference and experiential learning on string-pulling performance are also discussed.

The sea surface wind field is an important physical parameter in oceanography and *** the continuous refinement of numerical weather prediction,air-sea interface materials,energy exchange,and other studies,three-dimensional(3D)wind field distribution at local locations on the sea surface must be measured *** current in-situ observation of sea surface wind parameters is mainly achieved through the installation of wind sensors on ocean data ***,the results obtained from this single-point measurement method cannot reflect wind field distribution in a vertical direction above the sea ***,the present paper proposes a theoretical framework for the optimal inversion of the 3D wind field structure variation in the area where the buoy is *** variation analysis method is first used to reconstruct the wind field distribution at different heights of the buoy,after which theoretical analysis verification and numerical simulation experiments are *** results indicate that the use of variational methods to reconstruct 3D wind fields is significantly effective in eliminating disturbance errors in observations,which also verifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis of this *** findings of this article can provide a reference for the layout optimization design of wind measuring instruments in buoy observation systems and also provide theoretical guidance for the design of new observation buoys in the future.

Ultrasonic-assisted extraction(UAE)combined with medium pressure liquid chromatography(MPLC)was designed for carbazole separation from anthracene slag(AS).The effects of liquid/solid ratio,temperature,and extraction times on carbazole separation were *** using CC14 and ethyl acetate as extraction solvents and combining with MPLC,carbazole recovery and purity are 75.1%and 95.4%,*** mechanism for carbazole separation were presumed by examining intermolecular interactions such as N-H…π,π-π,and C-Cl…π*** results demonstrate that UAE/MPLC has a considerable potential as a green and promising strategy for separating and purifying carbazole and other chemicals from AS.

Although progress in clinical and basic research has significantly increased our understanding of breast cancer, little is known about the molecular mechanism underlying breast cancer metastasis. Identification of effective therapeutic targets to prevent breast cancer metastasis is urgently needed. The function of mi R-503-3p has been investigated in other cancers, but its role in breast cancer remains ***, we found that mi R-503-3p was overexpressed in breast cancer tissue and plasma compared with adjacent normal breast tissue and with plasma from healthy individuals. Moreover, we identified mi R-503-3p to be an oncogene of breast cancer cell proliferation, migration and invasion. Upregulation of mi R-503-3p in breast cancer cells inhibited expression of epithelialemesenchymal transition（EMT）-related protein SMAD2 and the epithelial marker protein E-cadherin by directly binding to their m RNA30 untranslated region, whereas increased expression of mesenchymal marker proteins, including vimentin and N-cadherin. Taken together, our findings support a critical role for mi R-503-3p in induction of breast cancer EMT and suggest that plasma mi R-503-3p may be a useful diagnostic biomarker for breast cancer.

In the 1980s,China’s offshore marine fishery resources declined,thus fishing gear selectivity gradually became a focus of scientific fishery *** of fishing gear selectivity mainly focus on five kinds of fishing gear:trawls,shrimp beam trawls,stow nets,gillnets,and *** net method is the main method used in the comparative study of codend selectivity of both trawls and stow *** results showed that(1)Bottom trawls,targeting Larimichthys polyactis(the Little yellow croaker)and Trichiurus haumela(the Hairtail),should have a minimum mesh size of the codend no less than 60 mm in the Yellow and East China *** the codend should use a square mesh with a minimum mesh size of 40 mm due to the variety of targeted species in the South China Sea.(2)Pair pelagic trawls,targeting pelagic species such as Engraulis japonicus(the Japanese anchovy),Pampus argenteus(the Silvery pomfret),Scomberomorus niphonius(the Spanish mackerel),as well as bottom species such as *** and ***,should have a minimum mesh size of the codend no less than 56 mm in the Yellow Sea.(3)Shrimp beam trawls should use shrimp/fish separator devices(e.g.,separator panels,vertical separator panels,and sorting grids)to improve intra-species selectivity and reduce by-catch of non-target fish.(4)Canvas stow nets,targeting *** and ***,should have a minimum mesh size of the codend no less than 55 mm.(5)Gillnets,the minimum mesh size should be determined for catching traditional economic species,but also the optimal mesh size for newly developed *** as,gillnets with mesh size of 35-38.71 mm targeting Harpodon nehereus(the Bombay duck),55 mm targeting *** and Nemipterus virgatus(the Golden threadfin bream),72 mm targeting Dentex tumifrons(the yellow sea breams)or Scomberomorus commersoni with body length of 280 mm,100 mm targeting ***,104 mm or 146 mm targeting 2-3 year or 6-7 year ***,120 mm targeting *** with body length
