Most damaging plant diseases have been caused by viruses in the entire *** tropical and subtropical areas,the damage caused by plant virus leads to great economic and agricultural *** stranded DNA viruses(geminiviruses)are the most perilous pathogens which are responsible for major diseases in agronomic and horticultural *** begomoviruses and mastreviruses are the biggest genus of plant infecting viruses,transmitted though Bemisia tabaci and members of Cicadellidae *** possesses some naturally existing chemicals term as phyto-chemicals which perform important functions in the *** antioxidant enzymes are used by plants for selfdefense upon foreign invasion of *** review explains the present perceptive of influence of viral infections on phyto-chemicals,oxidative enzymes and biochemical changes occurring in the *** infection mediated phytochemical changes in plants mainly includes:up and down regulation of photosynthetic pigment,increase in the concentration of phenolic compounds,elevation of starch content in the leaf and up&down regulation of anti-oxidative enzymes including(GPX)guaiacol peroxidase,(PPO)polyphenol oxidase,(APX)ascorbate peroxidase,(SOD)superoxide dismutase and(CTA)*** changes lead to initiation of hypersensitive response,by thicken of the leaf lamina,lignification under the leaf surface,blocking to stomatal openings,systematic cell death,generation of reactive oxidative species(ROS),activation of pathogen mediated resistance pathways i.e.,production of salicylic acid and jasmonic *** all the physiological changes in the plant due to viral infection supports the activation of defense mechanism of the plant to combat against viral infection by limiting virus in specific area,followed with the production of barriers for pathogen,accumulation of starch in the leaf and excess production of(ROS).These strategies used by the plant to prevent the spread of viru

Persistent currents of ultrarelativistic plasma-encased endofullerene molecules entrapping a H atom

Smart and collaborative industrial IoT: A federated learning and data space approach

Industry 4.0 has become a reality by fusing the Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)and Artificial Intelligence(AI),providing huge opportunities in the way manufacturing companies ***,the adoption of this paradigm shift,particularly in the field of smart factories and production,is still in its infancy,suffering from various issues,such as the lack of high-quality data,data with high-class imbalance,or poor diversity leading to inaccurate AI ***,data is severely fragmented across different silos owned by several parties for a range of reasons,such as compliance and legal concerns,preventing discovery and insight-driven IIoT ***,valuable and even vital information often remains unutilized as the rise and adoption of AI and IoT in parallel with the concerns and challenges associated with privacy and *** adversely influences interand intra-organization collaborative use of IIoT *** tackle these challenges,this article leverages emerging multi-party technologies,privacy-enhancing techniques(e.g.,Federated Learning),and AI approaches to present a holistic,decentralized architecture to form a foundation and cradle for a cross-company collaboration platform and a federated data space to tackle the creeping fragmented data ***,to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed reference model,a collaborative predictive diagnostics and maintenance case study is mapped to an edge-enabled IIoT *** results show the potential advantages of using the proposed approach for multi-party applications accelerating sovereign data sharing through Findable,Accessible,Interoperable,and Reusable(FAIR)principles.

Dynamic earth pressure induced by machine foundations on a neighboring retaining wall is analyzed with emphasis on factors which control the intensity and location of the design forces. The meshless local Petrov-Galerkin (MLPG) method is used to analyze the problem for a variety of retaining wall and machine foundation geometries. The soil medium is assumed to be homogeneous and visco-elastic. The machine foundation is idealized as a harmonic sinusoidal dynamic force often encountered in practice. A number of analyses have been made to reveal the effect of the loading frequency, the location and size of the foundation and the soil shear wave velocity on the distribution and magnitude of the dynamic earth pressure. Results indicate that there is a critical frequency and a critical location for which the passive pressure takes the maxima in the entire duration of the dynamic load.

Optimization of hydrolysis conditions for the production of protein hydrolysates from fish wastes using response surface methodology

The recycling of waste from food processing is an important industrial procedure for obtaining protein sources with high added *** this study,trout(Onchorynchus mykiss),anchovy(Engraulis encrasicolus),and whiting(Merlangius merlangus)wastes were *** hydrolyzation procedure was investigated under the optimum predicted conditions defined by time,temperature,and enzyme ratio(E/S)using alkaline protease(pH 8),Protamex(pH 7),and Flavourzyme(pH 7).The hydrolysis conditions that showed the best degree of hydrolysis(DH%)were optimized using response surface methodology(RSM)with the central composite design(CCD)and Box-Behnken design(BBD)*** effects of three independent variables,temperature(40-60℃),time(1-8 h),and enzyme concentrations(1-2%),were examined for model *** was determined that the DH%varies between 50.92%and 74.30% according to the type of fish waste and *** highest degree of hydrolysis was observed from trout waste(74.30%)and the lowest degree from whiting waste(50.92%)with *** this study,it has been shown that different degrees of hydrolysis and protein recovery can be obtained,depending on fish species,waste composition,enzyme type,and hydrolysis method.

Prevalence of visual impairment and related factors in Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan:a cross sectional study

AIM: To determine the prevalence, main causes, and related factors of visual impairment(VI) among people aged 50 y and over in Jalalabad City and four surrounding districts of Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan. METHODS: The data for the population based crosssectional study was collected in 2015. The calculated sample size was 1353, allocated to urban-rural strata using probability proportion to size method. At the end of the study, 1281 people participated in to the study. VI was defined as presenting visual acuity(VA) of less than 6/18 and blindness as VA less than 3/60 in the better eye by using Snellen chart only. Data was analyzed using IBM SPSS 21.0 ***: The prevalence of VI was 22.6%(95%CI, 20%-25%) of which 13.9%(95%CI, 12%-16%) was low vision and 8.7%(95%CI, 7%-10%) was blindness. The most common causes of the VI were cataract(52.8%), followed by uncorrected refractive error(URE)(26.9%) and glaucoma(8.6%). Number one cause of the low vision was URE(42%), followed by cataract, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration(AMD) and diabetic retinopathy(DR), while for blindness they are cataract(72%), other posterior segment disorders, glaucoma, URE and AMD. Illiteracy, bad economic status, hypertension and overweight were factors independently associated with both VI and low vision, whereas, age, illiteracy, bad economic status, hypertension and using of sunglasses were independently associated with ***: Cataract, URE, glaucoma, AMD and DR are the leading causes of VI and blindness in the study area. They are mostly avoidable. In order to decrease theburden of VI and blindness in the study area as well as the whole country, it is strongly recommended to apply the prevention policies of VI and blindness.

Storage in ice incorporated antimelanotic agent and its effects on melanosis and quality of giant red shrimp(Aristaeomorpha foliacea)

Since melanosis starts very quickly after catching in shrimps,it is immediately treated with an antimelanotic *** are transported to land with *** this study,it was aimed to combine these two applications and to produce antimelanotic added ice and to preserve the shrimps in this *** ice production,4-hexylresorcinol and sodium metabisulphite were used at ratios 0.0025%and 0.625%,***(Aristaeomorpha foliacea)dipped in 4-hexylresorcinol and sodium metabisulphite solutions at ratios 0.005%and 1.25%,respectively,and shrimp kept in normal ice were considered as *** melanosis scores of the shrimp stored in ice containing antimelanotics were found to be lower than those of the shrimp dipped into *** situation showed that storage in ice containing antimelanotic agent delayed the formation of melanosis in *** highest TVB-N and TMA-N values were determined in the control group that did not contain antimelanotic *** stored in ice containing 4-hexylresorcinol had lower TVB-N and TMA-N values compared to sulphide added *** highest pH values were determined in shrimps dipped in 4-hexylresorcinol solution and in the control *** pH values of shrimps treated with 4-hexylresorcinol were higher than those of shrimps treated with *** incorporation of antimelanotics to ice prevented the softening of shrimps and preserved the *** metabisulphite and 4-hexylresorcinol showed a microbial inhibition effect in shrimp,and this effect was more clearly observed by storage in ice containing antimelanotic agent.

Big data analysis(BDA)can increase the capability of supply chain analysis of manufacturing ***,many manufacturing companies want to use BDA,but it has been seen that BDA implementation is difficult,especially in developing countries due to the existence of various barriers related to finance,government regulations,*** paper aims to investigate the barriers to BDA implementation in Iranian *** literature,limited work has been done on identifying barriers to implementing BDA in developing *** this regard,34 barriers were identified to BDA adoption in Iran by employing a literature review and feedback received from ***,the most important barriers(14)were analyzed using integrated Interpretive Structural Modeling and MICMAC *** show that two barriers;namely,lack of sufficient knowledge of senior managers and weakness of governance policies,are the most ***,crucial policy measures and recommendations are proposed to assist managers and government bodies.
