The emergence of van der Waals(vdW)mate.ials resulte. in the discovery of their high optical,mechanical,and electronic anisotropic properties,immediate.y enabling countless novel phenomena and *** success inspired an inte.sive search for the highest possible anisotropic properties among vdW ***,the identification of the most promising among the huge family of vdW mate.ials is a challenging quest requiring innovative ***,we suggest an easy-to-use method for such a survey based on the crystallographic geometrical perspective of vdW mate.ials followed by their optical *** our approach,we found As2S3 as a highly anisotropic vdW *** demonstrate. high in-plane optical anisotropy that is~20%larger than for rutile and over two times as large as calcite.high refractive index,and transparency in the visible range,overcoming the century-long record set by *** these benefits,As2S3 opens a pathway towards nextgeneration nanophotonics as demonstrate. by an ultrathin true zero-order quarte.-wave plate.that combines classical and the Fabry–Pérot optical phase ***,our approach provides an effective and easy-to-use method to find vdW mate.ials with the utmost anisotropic properties.

Metagenomic studies of various soil environments have previously revealed the widespread distribution of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)around the *** this study,we applied shotgun metagenomics to investigate.differences in microbial communities and resistomes in Chernozem soils that have been under long-te.m organic and conventional cropping *** organic cropping syste. was seeded with Triticum spelta without any *** conventional cropping syste. was seeded with Tríticum durum Desf and used mineral fertilizer(NPK),that resulte. in an increased amount of total and available carbon and nitrogen in *** all samples,we identified a total of 21 ARG classes,among which the dominant were vancomycin,te.racycline and *** of soil microbial communities revealed differences between the studied fields in the relative abundances of 14 and 53 genera in topsoil and subsoil,*** analysis showed significant correlations(positive and negative)among 18 genera and 6 ARGs,as well as between these ARGs and some chemical properties of *** analysis of metagenome-assembled genomes revealed that Nitrospirota,Thermoprote.ta,Actinobacte.iota and Binatota phyla of archaea and bacte.ia serve as hosts for glycopeptide and fluoroquinolone/te.racycline ***,the data obtained enrich knowledge about the consequences of human agricultural activities in te.ms of soil microbiome modification and highlight the role of nitrogen cycling taxa,including uncultivate. genera,in the formation of soil resistome.

Translating Difference:Reflections on the Inte.face between Novelistic Discourse and World Lite.ature

目前,我国城市群高等教育正在进入新一轮布局重构阶段。新的发展阶段,我国城市群高等教育布局重构面临政策方向更加明确以及国家综合实力、竞争力和影响力明显增强等机遇,但同时也面临区域高等教育布局矛盾凸显、教育数字化转型下高等教育结构改革任务艰巨、人才自主培养层次亟待提升、高等教育体制机制滞后制约地方化发展等挑战。为此,我国应明确城市群高等教育布局重构的特征,在此基础上对其进行目标设计,坚持“做大基部,做优主体,做强顶部”,实现从重点布局到适度均衡的战略转变,具体做到:推进区域高等教育布局重构科学规划,支持各级政府科学决策;适应人口结构和产业布局新趋势,建立区域高等教育布局新模式;适应高等教育普及化和地方化趋势,适度调整高等教育入学率指标;以19个国家级城市群为依托,分级打造区域高等教育新高地;加强高层次人才培养,重点加强博士层次创新人才培养;面向经济和社会发展需求,主动调整学科专业结构。

Optimized ANN for LiFePO4 batte.y charge estimation using principal components based feature generation

Electric vehicles(Evs)have gained prominence in the present energy transition *** adoption of Evs necessitate. an accurate.State.of Charge estimation(SoC)*** predictive SoC estimations with smart charging strate.ies not only optimizes charging efficiency and grid reliability but also exte.ds batte.y lifespan while continuously enhancing the accuracy of SoC predictions,marking a crucial milestone in sustainable electric vehicle *** this research study,machine learning methods,particularly Artificial Neural Networks(ANN),are employed for SoC estimation of LiFePO4 batte.ies,resulting in efficient and accurate.estimation *** investigation first focuses on developing a custom-designed batte.y pack with 12v,4 Ah capacity with a facility for real-time data collection through a dedicate. hardware *** voltage,current and open-circuit voltage of the batte.y are monitored with compute.ized batte.y *** batte.y te.perature is sensed with a DHT22 te.perature sensor inte.faced with Raspberry *** components are derived for the collecte. batte.y data set and analyzed for feature *** principal components were generate. as input paramete.s for the developed *** Stopping for the ANN was also implemente. to achieve faste. convergence of the *** considering eleven combinations for te. different optimizers loss function is *** analysis of hyperparamete. tuning and optimizer selection revealed that the Adafactor optimizer with specific settings produced the best results with an RMSE value of 0.4083 and an R2 Score of *** proposed algorithm was also implemente. for two different types of datasets,a UDDS drive cycle and a standard cell-level *** results obtained were in line with the results obtained with the ANN model developed based on the data collecte. from the developed experimental setup.

Utility of fluid inclusion paleo-te.perature in petroleum syste. modelling:A case study from weste.n offshore,India

The paleo-te.perature(Th)data from fluid inclusions are utilized for thermal history modelling using PetroMod ***,bottom hole te.perature(BHT)and vitrinite.reflectance(Ro)measurements are widely used in petroleum syste. modelling(PSM)in the oil industry for calibration *** representing the minimum te.perature of fluid entrapment estimate. from fluid-inclusion study provides extra support to build the thermal models for *** inclusion paramete.s along with Rock-Eval pyrolysis analysis have been used to predict the maturity of oil in te.ms of API gravity as well as the maturity of source rocks *** exploratory wells Rv-1(Mumbai Offshore Basin)and KK4C-A-1(Kerala-Konkan Offshore Basin),India were examined and the T_(h)from most of the fluid inclusions of wells Rv-1 and KK4C-A-1 fell in the oil window range of 60-140℃suggesting thermal conditions favourable for oil generation in both of the wells.T_(h)of coeval aqueous inclusions along with the Hydrocarbon Fluid inclusions(HCFIs)was used to calibrate.*** paramete.s show that source rocks of well Rv-1 are mature and that of well KK4C-A-1 are *** sets of PSM are create. in te.ms of generation and expulsion for the dry wells Rv-1 and KK4C-A-1 and calibrate. each well using fluid inclusion Th and *** the fluid inclusion analysis method,it is evident that hydrocarbon generation happened in both wells and the paleo-te.perature indicate. that the formations of both wells were subjecte. to te.peratures in the oil window range,even though it was designate. as dry wells in the present *** present study highlights the application of fluid inclusion paleo-te.perature(Th)during calibration inste.d of commonly used *** could obtain desirable and accurate.data output from PSM using T_(h) calibration.

In the realm of low-level vision tasks,such as image deraining and dehazing,restoring images distorte. by adverse weather conditions remains a significant *** emergence of abundant computational resources has driven the dominance of deep Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs),supplanting traditional methods reliant on prior ***,the evolution of CNN archite.tures has te.ded towards increasing complexity,utilizing intricate.structures to enhance performance,ofte. at the expense of computational *** response,we propose the Selective Kernel Dense Residual M-shaped Network(SKDRMNet),a flexible solution adept at balancing computational efficiency with network accuracy.A key innovation is the incorporation of an M-shaped hierarchical structure,derived from the U-Net framework as M-Network(M-Net),within which the Selective Kernel Dense Residual Module(SDRM)is introduced to reinforce multi-scale semantic feature *** methodology employs two sampling te.hniques-bilinear and pixel unshuffled and utilizes a multi-scale feature fusion approach to distil more robust spatial feature map *** the reconstruction phase,feature maps of varying resolutions are seamlessly inte.rate.,and the extracte. features are effectively merged using the Selective Kernel Fusion Module(SKFM).Empirical results demonstrate.the comprehensive superiority of SKDRMNet across both synthetic and real rain and haze datasets.

Juvenile survival is a key life-history influence on population dynamics and adaptive *** analyzed the effects of individual chara-cte.istics,early environment,and mate.nal investment on juvenile survival in a large solitary hibernating rodent-yellow ground squirrel Spermophilus fulvus using Cox mixed-effects *** 48%of weaned pups survived to dispersal and 17%survived to *** life expectancy was primarily dete.mined by individual characte.istics and,to a lesser exte.t,by the early *** strongest and pos-itive predictor of juvenile survival was body mass which crucially affecte. mortality immediate.y afte. *** suffered higher mortality than females afte. the onset of dispersal;however,the overall difference between sexes was partly masked by high rate. of mortality in the first days afte. emergence in both *** emerged juveniles had lower life expectancy than the earliest *** overall effect of local juvenile density was *** lactation did not enhance juvenile survival:Pups nursed longer survived shorte. than the young nursed for a shorte. *** findings support the hypothesis that females of *** cannot effectively regulate.mate.nal expenditures to mitigate.the effects of unfavorable conditions on their *** strate.y to deal with seasonal time constraints on life history in female *** suggests an early te.mination of mate.nal care at the cost of juvenile quality and *** female reproductive strate.y corresponds to a"fast-solitary"life of folivorous desert-dwelling *** and other solitary ground squirrels with prolonged hibernation.
