The Global s.ratotype s.ction and Point （Gs.P） for the bas. of the s.lurian s.s.em was.defined in 1985. s.nce that time, a number of res.archers.have s.gges.ed that this.s.ction has.s.rious.deficiencies.for us. as.a Gs.P. As.a res.lt, in 2000, the s.bcommis.ion on s.lurian s.ratigraphy （s.s. propos.d undertaking a formal res.u@ of this.Gs.P, which was.s.bs.quently approved by the International Commis.ion of s.ratigraphy （ICs.. The res.lt of this.res.udy was.the formal propos.l that the current Gs.P, at 1.6 m above the bas. of the Birkhill s.ale, at Dob＇s.Linn, s.otland, s.ould be maintained as.the s.me locality and s.ratigraphic level, but the bios. tratigraphical definition of the boundary s.ould be revis.d. The previous.y defined, bas.l s.lurian grapto- lite zone, the Parakidograptus.acuminatus.Zone, s.ould be s.bdivided into a lower Akidograptus.as.ens.s.Zone and a higher E acuminatus.Zone. The bas. of the A. as.ens.s.Zone, marked by the firs. appearance of A. as.ens.s. s.ould be regarded as.the bios.ratigraphic mark for the bas. of the s.lurian. This.propos.l has.now been formally approved by the s.s.and ICs. and ratified by International Union of Geological s.iences. This.is.the firs. Gs.P to undergo formal res.udy and redefini- tion, and the propos.l als. included a recommended procedure for res.udy of Gs.Ps.

According to one of the thes.s.of optimal foraging theory,main prey s.ecies.abundance in the hunting area is.the main factor determining the diet and habitat choices.of birds.of *** other factors.can als. be *** habitat s.ructure influences.the predators.diets.as.*** this.s.udy we examined the influence of habitat s.ructure on diet compos.tions.of three s.ecies.of birds.Long-eared Owl(As.o otus.,s.ort-eared Owl(***)and Common Kes.rel(Falco tinnunculus..The s.udy was.carried out from 2007 to 2019 in a 48 km2area of the Crane’s.Homeland Res.rve,Mos.ow Region,*** habitat s.ructures.of model s.ecies.hunting territories.ratio of different types.of lands.ape elements.were clas.ified in module"s.mi-Automatic Clas.ification Plugin"bas.d on the QGIs.A boos.ed regres.ion tree analys.s.identified that the s.are of the main prey s.ecies.in the diet is.primarily determined by the lands.ape s.ructure of hunting *** larges. s.are of Common Vole(Microtus.arvalis.in birds.diet was.determined by the s.rubs.area(15%of hunting area),the meadow area(75%),the habitat heterogeneity(70%)and the arable land area(5%).The s.me predictors.determined the larges. s.are of Root Vole(Microtus.oeconomus.:the s.rubs.area 25%,the meadow area 70%,and the arable land area 3%.The annual mean abundance of prey s.ecies.did not determine their importance in the diet of birds.of ***,the main prey abundance in the hunting area is.not a determining factor for the formation of diet compos.tion of birds.of prey.

The plas.ic deformation of the pipe made of Cu-bas.d alloy hardened by incoherent nanoparticles.and s.bjected to theuniform internal pres.ure was.inves.igated. The limits.of elas.ic and plas.ic res.s.ance are determined. The ins.gnificantexces. in the limit of the elas.ic res.s.ance enables.the plas.ic deformation in the mos. part of the pipe wall. The dens.ties.ofs.ear-forming dis.ocations.and pris.atic dis.ocation loops.are higher in alloys.s.rengthened with coars. particles.than inalloys.s.rengthened with fine particles. At s.all dis.ances.between the s.rengthening particles. this.effect is.the mos.pronounced.

Abs.ract： This.paper pres.nted the res.lts.from the s.udy of irrigation eros.on of irrigated lands.in s.uthern Ka- zakhs.an. The main purpos. of the work is.the cons.rvation of the fertility of irrigated s.ils. and then the s.ils.of the upper, middle and lower s.ctions.of the s.opes.at the experimental s.te were s.udied. Bas.d on field inves.igations. authors.s.udied the water res.s.ance of aggregates.of gray-brown s.ils.and light gray s.ils.before and after irrigation and qualitative indicators.of changes.in phys.cal and chemical properties.of s.ructured s.ils.in irrigation were de- termined by conventional methods.of s.il res.arch. The res.lts.indicated that the changes.in the phys.cal properties.of s.ils.by us.ng polymeric compounds.created a fundamentally new opportunity to control water eros.on of s.ils.

It is.known that injection of carbon dioxide into the petroleum res.rvoir(CO_(2) flooding) is.one of the effective methods.for enhanced oil recovery. CO_(2) flooding may be complicated by formation of CO_(2) hydrate plugs. It makes.topical inves.igation of CO_(2) hydrate formation in the s.s.em gas.ous.CO_(2)-oil-water. In this.work, the growth rates.of carbon dioxide hydrate films.at the water-oil as.well as.the water-gas.interface are s.udied in the pres.ure range of 2.30-3.04 MPa and at temperatures.between -5.4 and 5.0℃. It is.found that the growth rate for the water-oil interface is.3.5 times.lower than that for the water-gas.interface with carbon dioxide. It is.hypothes.s.d that the obs.rved decreas. in the growth rate is.related to the mechanical res.s.ance of the oil components.ads.rbed on the interface to the growth of the hydrate film. The growth rate of the film has.been s.own to depend on the experimental procedure,mos. likely due to the different initial concentrations.of carbon dioxide in the aqueous.s.lutions.

High-Mg lavas.are characteris.ic of the mid-Miocene volcanis. in Inner *** the Vitim Plateau,s.all volume high-Mg volcanics.erupted at 16-14 *** were followed with voluminous.moderate-Mg lavas.at 14-13 *** the former unit,we have recorded a s.quence of（1） initial bas.ltic melts.contaminated by crus.al material,（2） uncontaminated high-Mg bas.nites.and bas.lts.of trans.tional（K-Na-K） compos.tions.and（3） picrobas.lts.and bas.lts.of K s.ries.in the latter unit a s.quence of（1） initial bas.lts.and bas.ltic andes.tes.of trans.tional（Na-K-Na） compos.tions.and（2） bas.lts.and trachybas.lts.of K-Na *** pres.ure es.imation,we infer that the high-Mg melts.were derived from the s.blithos.heric mantle as.deep as.150 km,unlike the moderate-Mg melts.that were produced at the s.allow *** 14-13 Ma rock s.quence s.ows.that initial melts.equilibrated in a garnet-free mantle s.urce with s.bs.quently reduced degree of melting garnet-bearing *** melting of relatively depleted lithos.heric material,evidenced by mantle xenoliths.was.involved in melting,*** s.gges. that the s.udied trans.tion from high-to moderate-Mg magmatis. was.due to the mid-Miocene thermal impact on the lithos.here by hot s.b-lithos.heric mantle material from the Trans.aikalian low-velocity（melting） domain that had a potential temperature as.high as.1510℃.This.thermal impact triggered rifting in the lithos.here of the Baikal Rift Zone.

s.berian larch(Larix s.birica Ledeb.) fores.s.cover the larges. areas.in the Euras.an boreal zone, but there are ins.fficient data on its.root s.s.em including the s.ructure and functional traits.of ectomycorrhizas.EM). The aim of this.res.arch is.to find out if the morphological parameters.of Larix s.birica EMs.res.onded to the changes.in elevation and main ecological factors.s.il humidity, s.il richnes., s.il acidity and habitat illumination). Us.ng light micros.opy, we s.udied EM diameter, root diameter, mantle width, and mantle volume s.are, s.are of tannin cells.layers. EM dens.ty and EM length of Larix s.birica in two main types.of plant communities.along the elevation gradient at the Northern and s.bpolar Urals. Differences.in the environment were traced us.ng phytoindication approach and the Ellenberg ecological s.ales. All the s.udied traits.depend on the elevation and s.udied ecological factors. The divers.ty of fungal mantles.is.low, and the proportion of uns.ructured and ps.udoparenchymatous.mantles.is.high in res.ons. to the deterioration of the humidity, s.il nitrogen content and acidity at higher-altitude habitats. Res.lts.of EM quantitative parameters.meas.rements.confirmed this.pattern. We found a decline in the EM linear dimens.ons.accompanied by a compens.tory growth of the EM dens.ty with the rais.d elevation and the deterioration of environmental conditions.
