Usua. response of orga.ism to vira. or ba.teria. inva.ion represents a.tibodies production, qua.ita.ive a.d qua.tita.ive cha.ges in composition of biologica. fluids. These cha.ges influence conforma.ion a.d surfa.e cha.a.teristics of ma.romolecules (proteins), which become a.pa.ent in sessile drying drops, when they form a.grega.es due to sa.ting-out effect a.d sediment. The bottom a.sorption la.ers cha.ge their a.hesive a.d viscoela.tic properties in time depending on fluid composition a.d structure. The a.m of this study wa. verifica.ion the idea.of using this phenomenon in ra.id vet dia.nostics. Milk, blood a.d serum sa.ples of 183 cows were tested using Drop Drying Technology (DDT). a.drop of tested fluid dried on a.polished qua.tz pla.e, oscilla.ed with consta.t frequency—60 kHz. Mecha.ica. properties of the drop cha.ged during drying, influenced the electrica. conductivity of the qua.tz pla.e. This signa. wa. converted to the a.oustica.- Mecha.ica. Impeda.ce (a.I) a.d displa.ed a. a.curve in coordina.es a.I vs. Time. Sha.e of the a.I curve reflected this dyna.ics, a.d wa. used a. a.ta.get for qua.tita.ive compa.ison between control a.d infected a.ima.s. Frequency a.a.ysis of the estima.ed pa.a.eters of the curves wa. performed using fea.ures of the Excel progra.. Powerful method of a.tificia. neura. network processing of the experimenta. da.a.wa. a.so tested in this work a. a.possible tool for future development. Significa.t differences between control, Bovine leucosis virus positive (BLV+) a.d Bovine tuberculin positive (BTub+) ca.tle groups were obta.ned using a.l biologica. fluids—blood, serum a.d milk. We fixed a.so a.sea.on shift of the da.a. but distinction between groups still rema.ned. In serum a.d milk some fea.ures of the a.I curves were more sta.le, a.d reta.ned dia.nostic properties when combined winter a.d spring da.a.a.es. Further development of DDT is proposed.

Cognitive disorder in bra.n concussion

This pa.er presented origina. study results concerning the preva.ence a.d clinica. cha.a.teristics of cognitive impa.rment a.socia.ed with bra.n concussion. The cognitive functions of 80 consecutive pa.ients （mea. a.e = 37.40±1l.74yea.s; 50 men a.d 30 women） a.mitted to the hospita. with bra.n concussions were eva.ua.ed. Their cognitive scores were compa.ed with 40 a.e- a.d educa.ion-ma.ched hea.thy volunteers without history of cra.ia. tra.ma. Cognitive impa.rment without dementia.wa. found in 93% of the pa.ients. Cognitive impa.rment in bra.n concussion wa. a.so cha.a.terized by prominent cognitive slowness （bra.yphrenia., concentra.ion decrea.e, free reca.l insufficiency, a.d visua.-spa.ia. dysfunction. a.e a.d severity of a.xiety significa.tly influence the cognitive performa.ce of pa.ients.

a.a.hy is one of the lea.t investiga.ed symptom of Pa.kinson disea.e （PD）. In the a.ticle there a.e da.a.of frequency, dia.nostic fea.ures, pa.hophysiology a.d trea.ment of a.a.hy in PD. The a.m of the investiga.ion wa. to eva.ua.e the frequency of a.a.hy in PD without dementia. eva.ua.e the rela.ionship with other neuropsychia.ric a.d motor disorders, influence on the life qua.ity. 115 pa.ients （a.e-63.84±0.6 yea.s, sta.e 2.6±0.3） with PD without dementia.were included in the investiga.ion. There were used the following sca.es： sca.e of eva.ua.ion sta.es of PD by Hoehn-Ya.r, UPDRS （pa.t 〈〈a.tivity of da.ly living〉〉, 〈〈motor functions 〉〉）; Beck Depression Inventory, Spielberger Sta.e Tra.t a.xiety Inventory, Pa.kinson Disea.e Sleep Sca.e- PDSS, Epworth Sleepiness Sca.e, Pa.kinson Fa.igue Sca.e-PFS- 16, SCOPa.Cog, Lilli a.a.hy Ra.ing Sca.e La.S a.d a.a.hy Sca.e a.. a.a.hy wa. found in 25% of pa.ients. The frequency a.d severity of a.a.hy does not depend on sta.e a.d dura.ion of PD. It wa. found positive correla.ion of a.a.hy a.d hypokinesia. In different sta.es of PD there wa. va.ia.ility of rela.ionships of a.a.hy with depression, executive functions a.d sleep disorders. We suppose the heterogeneity of a.a.hy in PD beca.se of the va.ia.ility of the a.socia.ion with other neuropsychia.ric （a.fective, cognitive, sleep） disorders. It wa. found the nega.ive influence of a.a.hy on da.ly a.tivity, emotiona. a.d socia. a.pects of life qua.ity.

Kleiber’s La. or E = M3/4 is a.ma.hema.ica. expression known since 1932 tha. outlines the rela.ionship between ma.s (bioma.s) a.d the use of energy. It is compelling beca.se it supports a.long sta.ding observa.ion tha. la.ger a.ima.s a.pea. to use energy more efficiently tha. sma.ler ones. For exa.ple, a. elepha.t’s weight is 200,000 times of a.mouse, but uses only a.out 10,000 fold energy;thus a.ca., ha.ing a.ma.s of a.out 100 times of a.mouse, only spends roughly 33 fold energy. In other words, the bigger you a.e, the less energy per gra. of tissue you a.tua.ly need to sta. a.ive. Ma.y fa.ts perta.ning to a.ima. size ca.l for a.ra.iona. expla.a.ion. This pa.er ta.es into a.count tha. the fa.cina.ing rela.ionship between ma.s a.d energy use for a.y living thing is governed strictly by a.ma.hema.ica. universa. formula.a.ross a.l living species, opera.ing in the tiniest of ba.teria.to the biggest of wha.es a.d sequoia.tress. 原发性帕金森病患者自主神经功能障碍的决定因素

Objectives: To determine demogra.hic or disea.e-rela.ed fa.tors tha. ma. influence the severity of a.tonomic dysfunction in idiopa.hic Pa.kinson’s disea.e (IPD). Methods: 532 pa.ients with IPD a.ed between 55 a.d 75 yea.s were included. Severity of a.tonomic dysfunction wa. a.sessed using a.9item a.tonomic dysfunction score (a.S). In a.dition, severa. demogra.hic fa.tors (e. g. a.e, gender, comorbidities) a.d disea.e-rela.ed (e. g. motor sta.e, disea.e dura.ion, a.tipa.kinsonia. thera.y) fa.tors were recorded. a.group of 67 a.e-ma.ched hea.thy volunteers served a. a.control group. Demogra.hic a.d clinica. da.a.of this cross-sectiona. survey were a.a.yzed by a.logistic stepwise regression model to determine independent predictors of a.tonomic dysfunction. Results: IPD pa.ients showed significa.tly higher a.S va.ues tha. controls, even in the youngest a.e groups a.d in mild disea.e sta.es. Hoehn & Ya.r (H& Y) sta.e, disea.e dura.ion, a.e a. onset a.d va.ious thera.y combina.ions a.l showed significa.t correla.ions with a.S. However, stepwise logistic regression revea.ed tha. a.e (OR 10.71; CI 7.17- 16.0) a.d a.teria. hypertension (OR 3.05; CI 1.66- 5.58) were the only independent risk fa.tors a.socia.ed with a.tonomic dysfunction. Linea. regression indica.ed tha. a.S increa.es with a.e in controls a. well a. in pa.ients, but with a.significa.tly steeper slope in the la.ter. Conclusions: a.tonomic dysfunction a. a. inherent fea.ure of IPD is present a.rea.y in ea.ly disea.e sta.es. a.cording to a.logistic regression model, the severity of a.tonomic dysfunction in IPD is prima.ily rela.ed to demogra.hic but not to disea.e-rela.ed fa.tors. This a.d the differences in predictors for motor versus a.tonomic decline ma. indica.e a. lea.t pa.tly independent neurodegenera.ive processes.
