An important property that any lifetime model should satisfy is scale *** this paper,a new scale-invariant quasi-inverse Lindley(QIL)model is presented and *** basic properties,including moments,quantiles,skewness,kurtosis,and Lorenz curve,have been *** addition,the well-known dynamic reliability measures,such as failure rate(FR),reversed failure rate(RFR),mean residual life(MRL),mean inactivity time(MIT),quantile residual life(QRL),and quantile inactivity time(QIT)are *** FR function considers the decreasing or upside-down bathtub-shaped,and the MRL and median residual lifetime may have a bathtub-shaped *** parameters of the model are estimated by applying the maximum likelihood method and the expectation-maximization(EM)*** EM algorithm is an iterative method suitable for models with a latent variable,for example,when we have mixture or competing risk models.A simulation study is then conducted to examine the consistency and efficiency of the estimators and compare *** simulation study shows that the EM approach provides a better estimation of the ***,the proposed model is fitted to a reliability engineering data set along with some *** Akaike information criterion(AIC),Kolmogorov-Smirnov(K-S),Cramer-von Mises(CVM),and Anderson Darling(AD)statistics are used to compare the considered models.

The main idea of reinforcement learning is evaluating the chosen action depending on the current *** to this concept,many algorithms achieved proper performance on classic Atari 2600 *** main challenge is when the reward is sparse or *** environments are complex exploration environments likeMontezuma’s Revenge,Pitfall,and Private Eye *** built to deal with such challenges were very *** work introduced a different reward system that enables the simple classical algorithm to learn fast and achieve high performance in hard exploration ***,we added some simple enhancements to several hyperparameters,such as the number of actions and the sampling ratio that helped improve *** include the extra reward within the human *** that,we used Prioritized Double Deep Q-Networks(Prioritized DDQN)to learning from these *** approach enabled the Prioritized DDQNwith a short learning time to finish the first level of Montezuma’s Revenge game and to perform well in both Pitfall and Private *** used the same games to compare our results with several baselines,such as the Rainbow and Deep Q-learning from demonstrations(DQfD)*** results showed that the new rewards system enabled Prioritized DDQN to out-perform the baselines in the hard exploration games with short learning time.

Drought impacts in arid desert ecosystems can result in decreased ecosystem productivity and ***mentation of restoration projects in arid desert environments is largely dependent on water availability and soil moisture *** study investigated the influence of induced drought stress by using polyethylene glycol(PEG-6000)solution on germination *** ciliaris and Cenchrus setigerus as the important rangeland *** water stress potential treatments were 0(control),-0.5 MPa,-1.0 MPa,-1.5 MPa,and-2.0 *** extent of seed germination was severely affected by decreased water stress *** drought increased,the percentage of germination decreased in both Cenchrus’*** water deficit at-0.5 MPa showed a significant(P<0.001)reduction in the final germination percentage in the case of *** and *** by 65%and 42.5%,***-1.0 MPa to-1.5 MPa,changes in intermediate germination were observed in ***(from 35%to 17.5%,respectively)and ***(from 22.5%to 11.25%respectively).Higher levels of water stress(-2.0 MPa)prevented the survival of both *** the germination strategies of native desert plant species associated with drought stress and identifying favorable conditions during the germination process can be useful for restoration practices and rangeland management actions to improve desert ecosystems and maintain biodiversity.

Herein,we report the victorious synthesis of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) on TiO_2 nanotubes(NTs)using a layer-by-layer(LbL) *** crystalline and homogenous thin films of MOFs were grown and characterized using XRD,SEM,FT-IR and UV/Vis ***,the utilization of the MOF films as sensitizers was probed in bespoke Graetzel type liquid junction solar *** constructed cell performance revealed an I_(sc) of 1.16 mA cm^(–2),Vocof 0.63 V,FF of 0.33,and E_(ff) of 0.42%.Further,pumpprobe transient laser spectroscopy was performed to investigate the energy and charge transfer dynamics of the MOFs/TiO_2 NTs *** results indicated 86% injection *** ultrafast pump-probe spectroscopy allows the investigation of this process and the differences between *** also showed that the relaxation of the MOF chromophores is in competition with electron injection in the Ti O2 *** this study provides a new insight into electron transfer from photoexcited metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) into titanium dioxide.

Localization accuracy is of paramount importance for the proper operation of underwater optical wireless sensor networks(UOWSNs). However, underwater localization is prone to hostile environmental impediments such as drifts owing to the surface and deep currents. These cause uncertainty in the deployed anchor node positions and pose daunting challenges to achieve accurate location estimations. Therefore, this paper analyzes the performance of three-dimensional(3D) localization for UOWSNs and derives a closedform expression for the Cramer Rao lower bound(CRLB) by using time of arrival(ToA) and angle of arrival(AoA) measurements under the presence of uncertainty in anchor node positions. Numerical results validate the analytical findings by comparing the localization accuracy in scenarios with and without anchor nodes position uncertainty. Results are also compared with the linear least square(LLS) method and weighted LLS(WLLS) method.

The present study reinvestigated the power affecting role of foreign direct investment（FDI）for economic growth in context of Belt and Road countries of Middle East and Asian *** paper reviewed the amount of previous literature and found the research gap as regional analysis and about ongoing massive capital inflows of Belt and *** prime objective of this study is to offer fruitful implications about allocation of *** gain maximum advantage for growth directly and *** study offers innovative findings by contributing in a new *** study contributed in context of Belt and Road countries of Asia and Middle East region about FDI-growth *** this purpose,the study used the annual data of studied variables for 24 countries,for the period of 1995 to 2016 and employed quantile regression and GMM as main estimation *** robustness of empirical findings and to check income and GDP effect,the study divided the countries as high income,low income,big GDP and small GDP ***,the findings reported very interesting and surprising results as regional *** study determines that FDI is playing positive role in boosting growth for Asian countries and negative relationship for Middle East *** results show the sensitivity of FDI for Middle East and high income group of countries,inferring that there might several other factors due to which FDI is adversely affecting growth and these countries need to reform their policies about projects of FDI and institutional *** study offers multiple policy implications concerning FDI-growth nexus for Asian,Middle East,high income,low income,big GDP and small GDP countries.

In this article,a novel metaheuristic technique named Far and Near Optimization(FNO)is introduced,offeringversatile applications across various scientific domains for optimization *** core concept behind FNO lies inintegrating global and local search methodologies to update the algorithm population within the problem-solvingspace based on moving each member to the farthest and nearest member to *** paper delineates the theoryof FNO,presenting a mathematical model in two phases:(i)exploration based on the simulation of the movementof a population member towards the farthest member from itself and(ii)exploitation based on simulating themovement of a population member towards the nearest member from ***’s efficacy in tackling optimizationchallenges is assessed through its handling of the CEC 2017 test suite across problem dimensions of 10,30,50,and 100,as well as to address CEC *** optimization results underscore FNO’s adeptness in exploration,exploitation,and maintaining a balance between them throughout the search process to yield viable *** analysis against twelve established metaheuristic algorithms reveals FNO’s superior *** findings indicate FNO’s outperformance of competitor algorithms,securing the top rank as the mosteffective optimizer across a majority of benchmark ***,the outcomes derived by employing FNOon twenty-two constrained optimization challenges from the CEC 2011 test suite,alongside four engineering designdilemmas,showcase the effectiveness of the suggested method in tackling real-world scenarios.
