This review highlights the gradient variations in the structural composition of musculoskeletal tissues and comprehensively examines recent progress in the fabrication and application of biomimetic gradient scaffolds for musculoskeletal *** challenges and prospects of gradient scaffolds for clinical application are discussed. The intricate hierarchical structure of musculoskeletal tissues, including bone and interface tissues, necessitates the use of complex scaffold designs and material structures to serve as tissue-engineered substitutes. This has led to growing interest in the development of gradient bone scaffolds with hierarchical structures mimicking the extracellular matrix of native tissues to achieve improved therapeutic outcomes. Building on the anatomical characteristics of bone and interfacial tissues, this review provides a summary of current strategies used to design and fabricate biomimetic gradient scaffolds for repairing musculoskeletal tissues, specifically focusing on methods used to construct compositional and structural gradients within the scaffolds. The latest applications of gradient scaffolds for the regeneration of bone, osteochondral, and tendon-to-bone interfaces are presented. Furthermore, the current progress of testing gradient scaffolds in physiologically relevant animal models of skeletal repair is discussed, as well as the challenges and prospects of moving these scaffolds into clinical application for treating musculoskeletal injuries.

The instability of formamidinium lead iodide(FAPbI) perovskite has limited its application in renewable energy development,despite the highest power conversion efficiency(PCE) it exhibited.A step forward has been achieved here by negotiating the hydration kinetics via adjusting the moisture partial *** stable hydrate was restricted to precipitate only at the surrounding of the grain boundary area under the influence of the moisture partial pressure,avoiding the large strain created by the complete hydration reaction,which preserved the condensed morphology of the perovskite *** PCE of such device was thus enhanced to more than 10%,as opposed to the value of 0.32% in the previous results,with comparable stability to the pure moisture-stable hydrate-based film,which not only provided a promising solution for the lifetime challenge,but also presented fresh inspiration for the thin film growth kinetics.

The large-scale, high-strength, super-tough, and multifunctional nacre-like heterocyclic aramid (HA)/MXene@polypyrrole (PPy) (HMP) nanocomposite papers were fabricated using the in-situ assembly of PPy onto the HA/MXene hydrogel *** "brick-and-mortar" layered structure and abundant hydrogen-bonding interactions among MXene, PPy, and HA respond cooperatively to external stress and effectively increase the mechanical properties of HMP nanocomposite *** templating effect from HA/MXene was utilized to guide the assembly of conducting polymers, leading to high electrical conductivity and outstanding electromagnetic interference shielding performance. Robust, ultra-flexible, and multifunctional MXene-based electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding nanocomposite films exhibit enormous potential for applications in artificial intelligence, wireless telecommunication, and portable/wearable electronic equipment. In this work, a nacre-inspired multifunctional heterocyclic aramid (HA)/MXene@polypyrrole (PPy) (HMP) nanocomposite paper with large-scale, high strength, super toughness, and excellent tolerance to complex conditions is fabricated through the strategy of HA/MXene hydrogel template-assisted in-situ assembly of PPy. Benefiting from the "brick-and-mortar" layered structure and the strong hydrogen-bonding interactions among MXene, HA, and PPy, the paper exhibits remarkable mechanical performances, including high tensile strength (309.7 MPa), outstanding toughness (57.6 MJ m-3), exceptional foldability, and structural stability against ultrasonication. By using the template effect of HA/MXene to guide the assembly of conductive polymers, the synthesized paper obtains excellent electronic conductivity. More importantly, the highly continuous conductive path enables the nanocomposite paper to achieve a splendid EMI shielding effectiveness (EMI SE) of 54.1 dB at an ultra-thin thickness (25.4 mu m) and a high specific EMI SE of 17,204.7 dB cm2 g-1. The measurement of amino acid and monoamine neurotransmitters（NTs） in serum plays a central role in the identification and monitoring of clinical panic disorder（PD）. However, the strong polarity and chemical heterogeneity of NTs make direct extraction and rapid detection extremely challenging. Herein, we developed a strategy that integrated solid phase extraction based on magnetic Fe3O4coated with polydopamine（Fe3O4@PDA） and direct analysis of mass spectrometry in real time（DART-MS） for quantification of 10 NTs. We systematically investigated the optimal conditions of this strategy to achieve good accuracy and precision. Compared with existing magnetic solid phase extraction methods for NTs detection in biological samples, this strategy could adsorb more targets while having similar adsorption efficiencies, and the total process time was reduced by an average of 69.42%. We rapidly determined the metabolic abnormality of 6 types of NTs in the serum of PD patients and demonstrated their diagnostic accuracy. In addition, an outstanding feature of PD in which tryptophan was more metabolized by the KYN pathway and the 5-hydroxytryptamine pathway was inhibited could be elucidated by this strategy. Our results highlighted the potential ability of Fe3O4@PDA coupled with DART-MS to assist in the clinical diagnosis of PD.
