Photocatalysis driven by abundant yet intermittent solar energy has considerable potential in renewable energy generation and environmental *** outstanding electronic structure and physicoc.emical properties of graphitic carbon nitride(g-c_(3)N_(4)),together with unique metal-free charac.eristic,make them ideal candidates for advanced photocatalysts *** review summarizes the up-to-date advances on g-c_(3)N_(4)based photocatalysts from ingenious-design strategies and diversified photocatalytic ***,the advantages,fabrication methods and limitations of each design strategy are systemically *** order to deeply comprehend the inner connection of theory–structure–performance upon g-c_(3)N_(4)based photocatalysts,structure/composition designs,corresponding photocatalytic activities and reaction mechanisms are jointly discussed,associated with introducing their photocatalytic applications toward water splitting,carbon dioxide/nitrogen reduction and pollutants degradation,***,the current challenges and future perspectives for g-c_(3)N_(4)based materials for photocatalysis are briefly *** design strategies and limitations are also instructive for constructing g-c_(3)N_(4) based materials in other energy and environment-related applications.

Interferon regulatory factor 1(IRF-1)is a member of the IRF *** is the first transcription factor to be identified that could bind to the interferon-stimulated response element(ISRe)on the target gene and displays crucial roles in the interferoninduced signals and ***-1,as an important medium,has all of the advantages of full cell cyc.e regulation,cell death signaling transduction,and reinforcing immune surveillance,which are well *** studies indicate that IRF-1 is of vital importance to the occurrence and evolution of multifarious liver diseases,including but not limited to inhibiting the replication of the hepatitis virus(A/B/c.e),alleviating the progression of liver fibrosis,and aggravating hepatic isc.emiareperfusion injury(HIRI).The tumor suppression of IRF-1 is related to the clinical charac.eristics of liver cancer patients,which makes it a potential indicator for predicting the prognosis and recurrence of liver cancer;additionally,the latest studies have revealed other effects of IRF-1 such as protection against alcoholic/non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(AFLD/NAFLD),cholangiocarcinoma suppression,and uncommon traits in other liver diseases that had previously received little ***,several compounds and drugs have featured a protective function in specific liver disease models in which there is significant involvement of the IRF-1 *** this paper,we hope to propose a prospective research basis upon which to help decipher translational medicine applications of IRF-1 in liver disease treatment.

The aim of this study is to investigate the sea surface temperature(SST) cooling as typhoons pass the Kuroshio current.A numerical circulation model,denoted as the Stony Brook Parallel Ocean Model(sbPOM),was used to simulate the SST,which includes four wave-induced effect terms(i.e.,radiation stress,nonbreaking waves,Stokes drift,and breaking waves) simulated using the third-generation wave model,called WAVeWATcH-Ⅲ(WW3).The significant wave height(SWH) measurements from the Jason-2 altimeter were used to validate the WW3-simulated results,yielding a root mean square error(RMSe) of less than 0.50 m and a correlation c.effic.ent(cOR) of approximately *** water temperature measured from the Advanced Research and Global Observation Satellite was applied to validate the model ***,the RMSe of the SST is 0.92℃ with a cOR of approximately *** revealed in the sbPOM-simulated SST fields,a reduction in the SST at the Kuroshio current region was observed as a typhoon passed,although the water temperature of the Kuroshio current is relatively *** variation of the SST is consistent with that of the current,whereas the maximum SST lagged behind the occurrence of the peak ***,the Stokes drift plays an important role in the SST cooling after analyzing four wave-induced terms in the background of the Kuroshio *** sensitivity experiment also showed that the accuracy of the water temperature was significantly reduced when including breaking waves,which play a negative role in the inside part of the *** variation in the mean mixing layer depth(MLD) showed that a typhoon could enhance the mean MLD in the Kuroshio current area in September and October,whereas a typhoon has little influence on the mean MLD in the Kuroshio current area in ***,the mean MLD rapidly dec.eased with the weakening of the strong wind force and wave-induced effects when a typhoon crossed the Kuroshio current.

The lithium(Li)metal batteries(LMBs)are considered one of the most promising next-generation batteries due to its extremely high theoretical specific ***,there are a couple of issues,e.g.,the serious side reactions that occurred at the solid-liquid interface between the electrolyte and Li metal anode,hindering the broad commercialization of ***,a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms underlying the decomposition of electrolytes is crucial to the design of ***,we utilize density functional theory simulations to explore the decomposition mechanism of *** most commonly used ether electrolyte solvents,i.e.,1,2-dimethoxyethane(DMe)and 1,3-dioxalane(DOL),based on suitable lithium salts,namely bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide(LiTFSI),are chosen to model the actual *** explicitly demonstrate that an electron-rich environment near the interface ac.elerates the decomposition of *** ether electrolytes,we show that the LiTFSI degradation path is depending on the ratio of DOL to *** addition,the solvation structures of lithium-ion undergo a series of transformations upon electrolyte degradation,becoming thermodynamically more favorable and having a higher reduction potential in an electron-rich *** finding provides new insights into the decomposition mechanisms of electrolytes and paves the way for the rational design of high-performance LMBs.

Data-driven approac.es such as neural networks are inc.easingly used for deep excavations due to the growing amount of available monitoring data in practical ***,most neural network models only use the data from a single monitoring point and neglect the spatial relationships between multiple monitoring ***,most models lack flexibility in providing predictions for multiple days after monitoring *** study proposes a sequence-to-sequence(seq2seq)two-dimensional(2D)convolutional long short-term memory neural network(S2ScL2D)for predicting the spatiotemporal wall deflections induced by deep *** model utilizes the data from all monitoring points on the entire wall and extracts spatiotemporal features from data by combining the 2D convolutional layers and long short-term memory(LSTM)*** S2ScL2D model achieves a long-term prediction of wall deflections through a recursive seq2seq *** excavation depth,which has a significant impact on wall deflections,is also considered using a feature fusion *** excavation project in Hangzhou,china,is used to illustrate the proposed *** results demonstrate that the S2ScL2D model has superior prediction accuracy and robustness than that of the LSTM and S2ScL1D(one-dimensional)*** prediction model demonstrates a strong generalizability when applied to an adjacent *** on the long-term prediction results,practitioners can plan and allocate resources in advance to address the potential engineering issues.

The abused ciprofloxacin antibiotics have caused significant environmental *** oxidative degradation of ciprofloxacin exhibits promising efficacy,it often entails excessive energy ***,it is necessary to explore an effective and ecologically sustainable degradation ***,we demonstrated that g-c_(3)N_(4) decorated with the coordinated ceO_(2)and co_(3)O_(4)(ceO_(2)-co_(3)O_(4)/cN)exhibited effective ciprofloxacin photodegradation via in situ H_(2)O_(2) production and activation *** indicate that the introduced ceO_(2) enhances the transference of photogenerated electrons to O_(2) by adjusting the oxygen vacancy of photocatalyst,thereby inc.easing the generation of superoxide radicals,which in turn generate H_(2)O_(2),resulting in a 22.4-fold inc.ease in H_(2)O_(2) generation over g-c_(3)N_(4).Moreover,the in situ H_(2)O_(2)generation facilitated by ceO_(2) is confirmed to be essential for ciprofloxacin degradation via ceO_(2)-co_(3)O_(4)/cN,as it provides enough oxidant for co_(3)O_(4) to activate into hydroxyl radicals for the pollutants ***,ceO_(2)-co_(3)O_(4)/cN achieves a ciprofloxacin degradation ratio of 97.7%within 80 *** study introduces a novel approach that combines H_(2)O_(2) generation and activation,offering an innovative perspective for achieving c.ean and effic.ent purification of antibiotic-contaminated water.

To date,some questions about medium-entropy carbide ceramics and the corresponding multi-phase carbide ceramics with the same cations and proportions remain *** oxidation behavior,do both have synergistic oxidation abilities and what role does entropy stabilization play in medium-entropy carbides?In this work,the oxidation behaviors of Hfc-Zrc-Tic multi-phase carbide(HZT-MPc)and(Hf_(1/3)Zr_(1/3)Ti_(1/3))c medium-entropy carbide(HZT-Mec)powders were *** thermogravimetry(TG)oxidation,the TG curve of HZT-MPc had a bimodal ***"preferential oxidation"of Hfc/Zrc occurred within HZT-MPc,followed by the formation of multi-phase oxides(HfO_(2),ZrO_(2),and TiO_(2)).The uneven compositional distribution slowed their solid solution reactions to form Ti-doped(Hf,Zr)O_(2) and(Hf,Zr)TiO_(4).The TG curve of HZT-Mec had a single peak.A uniform compositional distribution at the atomic scale promoted the rapid interdiffusion of oxides,forming Ti-doped(Hf,Zr)O_(2) and(Hf,Zr)TiO_(4) without ZrO_(2),HfO_(2),and TiO_(2) after TG ***,HZT-Mec had a higher onset oxidation temperature(To;470℃)than did HZT-MPc(430℃),and the TG single peak of HZT-Mec was between the TG bimodal peaks of ***,HZT-Mec showed superior oxidation resistance compared to HZT-MPc,which was attributed to the entropy stabilization effect of HZT-Mec suppressing the"preferential oxidation"of Hfc/Zrc and the"delayed oxidation"of Tic,promoting the synergistic oxidation ability of multiple principal elements.
