Macrocycles have found uses in guest capture,sensing,and porous materials,motivating the development of new methods for their *** we report the construction of two types of barrelshaped macrocyclic assemblies,with trigonal antiprismatic Fe^(II)_(6)L_(6)and square antiprismatic Fe^(II)_(8)L_(8)architectures,from FeII and boron-containing tritopic *** factors,the steric hindrance of ligands and the preferred coordination angles at different vertices,were observed to regulate the dihedral angles between adjacent ligands,leading to the formation of the structures *** effects of ligand steric hindrance led to the formation of a Fe^(II)_(6)L_(6)trigonal antiprism,which efficiently encapsulated persistent environmental pollutant perfluorosulfonate *** contrast with the iminopyridine chelating groups of the Fe^(II)_(6)L_(6)structure,the incorporation of azopyridine moieties coordinated with the FeII centers not only increased the vertex opening angle,resulting in the construction of a Fe^(II)_(8)L_(8)square antiprism,but also enabled the redox-driven reversible disassembly of this *** design strategies that have enabled the construction of these antiprismatic macrocycles may provide insight into the design principles governing the formation of more complex functional assemblies.

Comelina sotivo is an oil seed crop which can be grown on marginal lands. Camelina seed oil is rich in omega-3 fatty acids （〉35%） and y-tocopherol but is also high in erucic acid and glucosinolates. Camelina meal, is the by-product after the oil has been extracted. Camelina meal was fed to 28 d old weaned pigs at 3.7% and 7.4% unt age 56 d. The camelina meal supplements in the soy based diets, improved feed efficiency but also significantly increased the liver weights. Gene expression analyses of the livers, using intra-species microarrays, identified increased expression of phase 1 and phase 2 drug metabolism enzymes. The porcine versions of the enzymes were confirmed by real time PCr. Cytochrome 8b1 （CYPSB1）, aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 （Aldh2）, and thiosulfate transferase （TST） were all significantly stimulated. Collectively, these genes implicate the camelina glucosinolate metabolite, methyl-sulfinyldecyl isothiocyanate, as the main xeniobiotic, causing increased hepatic metabolism and increased liver weight.

The plant cell wall is composed of a matrix of cellulose fibers, flexible pectin polymers, and an array of as- sorted carbohydrates and proteins. The receptor-like Wall-Associated kinases （WAks） of Arabidopsis bind pectin in the wall, and are necessary both for cell expansion during development and for a response to pathogens and wounding. Mitogen Activated Protein kinases （MPks） form a major signaling link between cell surface receptors and both transcrip- tional and enzyme regulation in eukaryotes, and Arabidopsis MPk6 and MPk3 indeed have important roles in develop- ment and the response to stress and pathogens. A dominant allele of WAk2 requires kinase activity and activates a stress response that includes an increased rOS accumulation and the up-regulation of numerous genes involved in pathogen resistance, wounding, and cell wall biogenesis. This dominant allele requires a functional pectin binding and kinase domain, indicating that it is engaged in a WAk signaling pathway. A null mutant of the major plasma membrane rOS-producing enzyme complex, rbohd/f does not suppress the WAk2cTAP-induced phenotype. A mpk6, but not a mpk3, null allele is able to suppress the effects of this dominant WAk2 mutation, thus distinguishing MPk3 and MPk6, whose activity previously was thought to be redundant. Pectin activation of gene expression is abated in a wak2-null, but is tempered by the WAk-dominant allele that induces elevated basal stress-related transcript levels. The results suggest a mechanism in which changes to the cell wall can lead to a large change in cellular responses and help to explain how pathogens and wounding can have general effects on growth.

It is well-established that following ingestion of aspirin or any other inhibitor of cyclooxygenase-1, patients with Samter’s disease, or aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease (AErD) develop the sudden onset of worsening respiratory clinical symptoms, which usually in-volves nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, wheezing and bronchospasm. Gastrointestinal distress, nausea, a pruritic rash and angioedema can also occasionally develop. However, the underlying pathologic mechanism that drives these clinical reactions remains elusive. Pretreatment with medications that inhibit the leukotriene pathway decreases the severity of clinical reactions, which points to the involvement of cysteinyl leukotrienes (cysLTs) in the pathogenesis of these aspirin-induced reactions. Furthermore, studies of aspirin challenges in carefully-phenotyped patients with AErD have confirmed that both proinflammatory lipid mediators, predominantly cysLTs and prostaglandin (PG) D 2, and the influx of effector cells to the respiratory tissue, contribute to symptom development during aspirin-induced reactions. Mast cells, which have been identified as the major cellular source of cysLTs and PGD 2, are likely to be major participants in the acute reactions, and are an attractive target for future pharmacotherapies in AErD. Although several recent studies support the role of platelets as inflammatory effector cells and as a source of cysLT overproduction in AErD, it is not yet clear whether platelet activation plays a direct role in the development of the aspirin-induced reactions. To further our understanding of the pathogenesis of aspirin-induced reactions in AErD, and to broaden the pharmacotherapeutic options available to these patients, additional investigations with targeted clinical trials will be required.

Background Transcatheter aortic valve replacement(TAVr)for the treatment symptomatic severe aortic stenosis(AS)is indicated in patients with intermediate or higher surgical *** trials showed TAVr,and surgical aortic valve replacement(SAVr)perform similarly at 1-year for the composite outcomes of mortality,stroke and *** performed a comprehensive meta-analysis to compare individual outcomes at 1-year for TAVr compared to SAVr in low-risk *** Pub Med,Embase,and Cochrane central were searched for all the randomized controlled trials(rCTs)that reported 1-year comparative outcomes of TAVr and surgical aortic valve replacement(SAVr).Our conclusions are based upon the random-effects model using Der Simonian-Laird *** Data from 4 trials and 2887 randomized patients showed that TAVr had lower rates of all-cause mortality,cardiovascular mortality,and atrial fibrillation compared to SAVr at 1-year follow-up(Pr all).Also,TAVr was also associated with a significantly higher risk of permanent pacemaker implantation and moderate-severe paravalvular leak(Prandomised trial data demonstrates that in short-term,TAVr is safe and effective in reducing all-cause mortality or *** follow-up of rCTs is needed to determine the durability of clinical benefits in TAVr over SAVr in low-risk patients.

1 引言提示:静脉血栓栓塞是孕妇死亡的一个首要原因.静脉血栓栓塞症(venous thromboembolism,VTE)是妊娠最常见的严重合并症之一.肺栓塞经常能在几分钟内致死,是围生期死亡的最主要的原因.产科医生应尽力识别有危险因素的患者并给予治疗以预防血栓发生.总之,我们的目标是迅速识别并处理妊娠期急性血栓栓塞.通过非妊娠患者的研究,已经发现了很多方法预防、诊断和治疗VTE.但对妊娠期患者的治疗还需要循证医学基础上的大规模临床试验.同时必须有足够的来自各专业的资料综合.
