Multi-strain probiotics provide the most dependable approaches to improve health,immune response,and disease resistance in farmed *** the present study,we examined the effects of multi-species probiotics on the survival,growth,immune response,and disease resistance of rohu(Labeo rohita)*** hatched larvae from the day of first feeding(average weight of 0.003 g)were reared with multi-species probiotics having a combination of Bacillus subtilis(109 colony forming units(cfu)/mL)and Lactobacillus spp.(Lactobacillus plantarum,Lactobacillus buchneri-1011 cfu/mL)in water containing doses of 0(control-C),0.5 mL/L(treatment 1-T1),and 1.0 mL/L(treatment 2-T2)in triplicates for 90 *** the experiment,a challenge test was performed to assess the fish's resistance to pathogenic Aeromonas *** higher survival was recorded in larvae of treated groups(87%in T2 and 79%in T1)compared to the control(62%).Significantly higher growth performance(weight gain and specific growth rate—SGR)was shown by the probiotic-treated larval groups compared to the *** supplementation resulted in significantly higher counts of total viable colony(TVC)and lactic acid bacteria(LAB)in the *** immunological parameters(mucosal fold fattening,goblet cell abundance,expansion of lamina propria and enterocytes)of the gut were significantly better in probiotic-treated *** liver of treated fish showed irregular shape nuclei turning into regular shape and reducing spaces between the hepatic ***-treated fish had the highest post-challenge survival rate(90%)against *** *** erythrocytes of challenged fish treated with probiotics had significantly lower frequencies of various nuclear and cellular *** findings suggest that multi-species probiotic supplements could improve the survival,growth,health status,and immune response of rohu in the early stages of its development.

Short-Term Financial Time Series Forecasting Integrating Principal Component Analysis and Independent Component Analysis with Support Vector Regression

Financial time series forecasting could be beneficial for individual as well as institutional investors. But, the high noise and complexity residing in the financial data make this job extremely challenging. Over the years, many researchers have used support vector regression (SVR) quite successfully to conquer this challenge. In this paper, an SVR based forecasting model is proposed which first uses the principal component analysis (PCA) to extract the low-dimensional and efficient feature information, and then uses the independent component analysis (ICA) to preprocess the extracted features to nullify the influence of noise in the features. Experiments were carried out based on 16 years’ historical data of three prominent stocks from three different sectors listed in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), Bangladesh. The predictions were made for 1 to 4 days in advance targeting the short term prediction. For comparison, the integration of PCA with SVR (PCA-SVR), ICA with SVR (ICA-SVR) and single SVR approaches were applied to evaluate the prediction accuracy of the proposed approach. Experimental results show that the proposed model (PCA-ICA-SVR) outperforms the PCA-SVR, ICA-SVR and single SVR methods.

This paper presents an analysis of the effect of parasitic resistances on the performance of DC-DC Single Ended Pri- mary Inductor Converter (SEPIC) in photovoltaic maximum power point tracking (MPPT) applications. The energy storage elements incorporated in the SEPIC converter possess parasitic resistances. Although ideal components significantly simplifies model development, but neglecting the parasitic effects in models may sometimes lead to failure in predicting first scale stability and actual performance. Therefore, the effects of parasitics have been taken into consideration for improving the model accuracy, stability, robustness and dynamic performance analysis of the converter. Detail mathematical model of SEPIC converter including inductive parasitic has been developed. The performance of the converter in tracking MPP at different irradiance levels has been analyzed for variation in parasitic resistance. The converter efficiency has been found above 83% for insolation level of 600 W/m2 when the parasitic resistance in the energy storage element has been ignored. However, as the parasitic resistance of both of the inductor has increased to 1 ohm, a fraction of the power managed by the converter has dissipated;as a result the efficiency of the converter has reduced to 78% for the same insolation profile. Although the increasing value of the parasitic has assisted the converter to converge quickly to reach the maximum power point. Furthermore it has also been observed that the peak to peak load current ripple is reduced. The obtained simulation results have validated the competent of the MPPT converter model.

The Sundarbans is the world’s most extensive natural mangrove forest and home to various natural resources. The population in the vicinity has increased, causing more dependency on the resources of the Sundarbans. The increasing industrialization, urbanization, aquaculture, intensive agricultural practices, seaports, tourism facilities, and so on in the peripheral areas of the Sundarbans have made significant changes in the surrounding and upstream land uses of the Sundarbans. This situation may have detrimental influences on the ecosystem components of the Sundarbans. Therefore, it is highly demanded to prepare a piece of baseline information or database of different sources of pollution and their present status in the various components of the Sundarbans. This effort helps to identify issues and concerns, determine the key elements of the ecosystem to monitor the level or overall quality of the Sundarbans ecosystem. The present study systematically collects the potential sources of pollution, types, and current levels in the ecosystem components of the Sundarbans using academic databases, libraries, and online resources. Discharge of industrial waste into water, soil and air, heavy metal pollution, use of agrochemicals, oil (refined and crude) pollution, plastic materials from urban areas, and tourism are the major issues and concerns related to the sustainability of the Sundarbans ecosystem. The air quality of the Sundarbans is in good condition with 0 - 50 AQI of Bangladesh. While BOD, COD, TDS, TSS varied from 2.0 to 3.8 mg/L, 21.6 to 416 mg/L, 146.9 to 24,100 mg/L and 54 to 155 mg/L, respectively. Soil EC, organic carbon, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus ranged from 3.01 - 5.82 mS/cm, 1.41% - 2.69%, 0.51 - 1.05 mg/g, and 0.32 - 0.51 mg/g respectively. The air, water and soil quality parameters varied with the sites and seasons and not much at the state of contamination. 儿童贫困问题是世界普遍性问题,尤其是在经济不发达、社会保障落后的发展中国家。在孟加拉国,有35-45%的儿童属于贫困儿童,他们每天的收入不足1.25美元。在吉大港省,有近30%的儿童生活在贫困中。他们被迫在危险环境中工作,面临一系列虐待风险,严重影响了身心健康。儿童贫困给孟加拉国带来了一系列社会治理问题,不仅人口再生产的质量,也威胁社会稳定和国家发展未来。因而,向儿童贫困开战,消灭儿童贫困,是政府不可推卸的责任。深入研究孟加拉国等发展中国家的儿童贫困问题,为发展中国家消灭儿童贫困提供可资借鉴的经验,为具有重要的理论价值和现实意义。本文以儿童贫困的多因素理论为基础,以“结构-行动”为整合性分析框架,通过对孟加拉国吉大港省的儿童贫困治理实践的考察,结合2016年家庭收入和支出调查(HIES-2016)、2010多指标聚类调查、2013年全国童工调查以及其他国家和地方层面的调查,全面展现了孟加拉国儿童贫困治理的多维性、复杂性和艰巨性,系统探讨了发展中国家儿童贫困的总体特征、儿童贫困治理的体系构建、结构性困境、体制性约束以及优化路径,深刻揭示了发展中国家儿童贫困治理的深刻矛盾,并从制度设计与策略协同等维度探索提升儿童贫困治理的优化路径。研究发现,儿童贫困治理是检验发展中国家走向现代化的试金石。只有解决儿童贫困问题的国家,才能实现国家与社会的健康发展。孟加拉国的儿童贫困治理体系已初步形成,但也存在诸多体制性和结构性限制,需要突破“头痛医头”甚至“头痛医脚”的治理思路,从更为系统的角度找寻解决之道。第一,孟加拉国的儿童贫困治理体系构建初具雏形,形成了刚性保护与柔性支持相结合的项目推进与落实的治理体系。通过政策供给和项目推进,近9%的儿童降低了贫困水平。第二,主体孱弱与政策供给约束、制度粘性与政策执行偏差、文化认知与政策协同张力,是孟加拉国儿童贫困治理的结构性困境。有限资源与贫困儿童基数间尖锐矛盾,是孟加拉国儿童贫困治理的外生性约束,而贫困渠道受阻与贫困文化代际传递,则是孟加拉国儿童贫困治理的内生性约束。第三,从发展型社会政策看,相关制度设计与协同策略是孟加拉国儿童贫困治理的优化路径。在顶层设计上需要学习中国精准扶贫的成功密码,拓展儿童贫困治理的内涵,持续推进儿童贫困治理的多维保障体系构建。在协同策略上需要破除改造农村陈旧文化,提升儿童健康意识,树立现代儿童教育理念。总之,儿童贫困治理是一项复杂的系统工程。孟加拉国的儿童贫困治理取得了积极的成效,但也面临诸多困境。因此,采取针对性措施,进一步完善贫困儿童治理体系和治理能力,是孟加拉国等发展中国家需要重视的。儿童的健康成长直接关乎国家和民族的未来,儿童的大规模贫困引发的身心问题,十分不利于国家未来发展。从人口再生产质量的角度看,彻底解决儿童贫困是国之基础。不断推进和完善向儿童贫困开战的科学措施,是一个非常值得深入探讨的世界性议题。

The use of bilateral internal thoracic arteries to treat coronary artery disease is very less despite of improved long-term survival. In this case report, a patient presented with TVD has been managed with anaortic off-pump complete arterial revascularization (OPCABG) by using composite LIMA RIMA Y Sequential 5 grafts to achieve complete arterial revascularization successfully. This type of operative procedure is technically difficult in a resource poor country like Bangladesh. However, this has been done by a group of young cardiac surgeon. During follow up, the patient is in a good condition.

In the present day, all the buyers are encouraging the sustainable wash in the industry to conform to their orders. The washing industry is facing some difficulties after receiving the order from the buyers. That’s why, in this study, the authors have selected different percentages of cotton, polyester, and elastane fabric containing the GSM 295, 327, 340, 343, 357, 360, and 413 to conduct these experiments to reduce the difficulties of the washing industry. For all different types of denim fabrics, the physical properties test (tensile, tear, and GSM) and the chemical properties test (color fastness to crocking, color fastness to ozone, pH) have been done here to collect the row data. The main aim of this study was to find out about shade variation, weight loss, physical property changes, etc. before and after the third wash. This study will help the washing industry choose fabric types for sustainable washing in the future.

BackgroundThe COVID-19 pandemic posed a danger to global public health because of the unprecedented physical,mental,social,and environmental impact affecting quality of life(QoL).The study aimed to find the changes in QoL among COVID-19 recovered individuals and explore the determinants of change more than 1 year after recovery in low-resource ***-19 patients from all eight divisions of Bangladesh who were confirmed positive by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction from June 2020 to November 2020 and who subsequently recovered were followed up twice,once immediately after recovery and again 1 year after the first *** follow-up study was conducted from November 2021 to January 2022 among 2438 individuals using the World Health Organization Quality of Life Brief Version(WHOQOL-BREF).After excluding 48 deaths,95 were rejected to participate,618 were inaccessible,and there were 45 cases of incomplete *** statistics,paired-sample analyses,generalized estimating equation(GEE)analysis,and multivariable logistic regression analyses were performed to test the mean difference in participants’QoL scores between the two *** participants(n=1710,70.1%)were male,and one-fourth(24.4%)were older than *** average physical domain score decreased significantly from baseline to follow-up,and the average scores in psychological,social,and environmental domains increased significantly at follow-up(P<0.05).By the GEE equation approach,after adjusting for other factors,we found that older age groups(P<0.001),being female(P<0.001),having hospital admission during COVID-19 illness(P<0.001),and having three or more chronic diseases(P<0.001),were significantly associated with lower physical and psychological QoL *** age and female sex[adjusted odd ratio(aOR)=1.3,95%confidence interval(CI)1.0–1.6]were associated with reduced social domain scores on multivariable logistic regression *** or semi-urban peo
