In this study,four biochars prepared from different crop residue waste *** bagasse(SBB),coconut shell(CNB),paddy straw(PDB),and distilled waste of lemongrass(LGB)were evaluated for removal of Remazol Brilliant Blue R from the aqueous *** RBBR adsorption capacities of biochar were 97-79%for SBB,99.9-99.47%for CNB,66.1-48%for PDB,and 78-68%for LGB,dominantly controlled by their aromaticity and mineral *** Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms and pseudo-second-order kinetic models have described the chemisorption of RBBR on biochar *** thermodynamic data suggested that adsorption was spontaneous and *** biochars demonstrated excellent reusability(till four cycles with 50-61%regeneration).The purified water and biochar dye sludge demonstrated no *** findings obtained in this study may provide supports for the potential of biochars for anionic dye removal from water and utilization of generated sludge for zero waste-producing technologies in the future.

In this paper,we construct a bounce inflation cosmological scenario in the framework of the modified symmetric teleparallel gravity,namely f(Q)theory,and investigate the tensor perturbations *** is well-known,the tensor perturbations generated in the very early Universe(inflation and pre-inflation regions)can account for the primordial gravitational waves(PGWs)that are to be detected by the next generation of GW *** discuss the stability condition of the tensor perturbations in the bounce inflation process and investigate in detail the evolution of the perturbation *** general form of the tensor power spectrum is obtained both for large as well as small scale *** a result,we show both kinds of modes(short or long wavelength modes),and the tensor spectrum may get a positive tilt in the parametric range where the tensor perturbation proves to be stable—this interestingly hints an enhancement of gravitational waves’amplitude in the background of the f(Q)bounce-inflation ***,we study the LQC-like scenario as a specific case of our model,in which,the primordial tensor power spectrum turns out to be nearly scale-invariant on both small and large scales.

Major chemical properties of tea-growing soils are of paramount importance for better management in a sustainable ***,this study was carried out to understand the major soil chemical properties of major tea(Camellia sinensis L.)-growing areas,Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts,in the state of Assam,India.A total of 991 surface soil samples were collected from 15 large tea estates(TEs) for analysis of their major chemical *** pH ranged from 3.61 to *** organic carbon and total nitrogen ranged from 2.4 to 47.3 and 0.24 to 3.60 g kg^(-1),*** soils were sufficiently rich in plant-available potassium(as K_2O),which ranged from 127.71 to 252.33 mg kg^(-1),exceeding the amount prescribed for optimum tea yield of > 100 mg kg^(-1).Plant-available sulfur among soil samples widely varied from 4 to 129 mg kg^(-1).Results of hierarchical clustering analysis for homogenous grouping of the 15 TEs based on soil chemical properties showed that the 15 TEs could be classified into three distinct groups which consisted of6,8 and 1 TEs,*** on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov(K-S) test,the best fitted theoretical probability distributions were found out for different soil chemical *** could be concluded that a balanced fertilizer application would be needed as a part of tea improvement program using soil chemical test.

Globally,shallow aquifer groundwater(GW)has been severely affected in recent decades for both geogenic and anthropogenic *** hydro-geochemical characteristics of the GW change inconsistently with the addition of unwanted inorganic trace elements into the GW aquifer of the Indo-Bangladesh delta region(IBDR),such as arsenic(As)along with fluoride(F-)*** GW can have a negative impact on drinking water supplies and agricultural *** pollution can have serious adverse effects on the environment and human ***,the GW quality of this region is deteriorating progressively,and human health threatening by various life-threatening ***,the current study concentrated on the GW quality evaluation and prediction of possible health issues in the IBDR due to elevated contamination of As along with F-within GW aquifers by considering sixteen *** survey-based statistical methods such as entropy quality index(EWQI)combined with health risk index(HRI)was implemented for evaluating the As and F-sensitivity with the help of correlation testing and principal component *** study's outcome explains that a substantial portion of the IBDR has been vastly experiencing inferior GW quality,environmental issues,and health-related problems in dry and wet seasons,correspondingly for As and *** diagram verified the suitability of water that almost 55%of GW across the study area’s aquifers are unfit for drinking as well as cultivation of *** analysis and the Monte Carlo simulation method were also applied to assess the contaminant's concentration level and probable health risk *** present study concludes that the elevated exposure of As and F-pollution has to be monitored regularly and prevent unwanted GW contamination through implementing sustainable approaches and policies to fulfil the sustainable development goal 6(SDG-6)till 2030,ensuring the most basic human right of clean,safe,and hy

Homogeneous crystal nucleation is prone to formation of defects and often experiences heterogeneities,the inferences of which are crucial in processing crystalline materials and controlling their physical properties. It has been debated in literature whether the associated heterogeneities are an integral part of the homogenous nucleation. In this study by integrating a probabilistic approach with large-scale molecular dynamics simulations based on the most advanced high-temperature interatomic potentials, we attempt to address the ambiguity over the sources and mechanisms of heterogeneities in homogenous nucleation during solidification of pure melts. Different classes of structured metals are investigated for this purpose,including face-centered cubic aluminum, body-centered cubic iron, and hexagonal close-packed magnesium. The results reveal, regardless of the element type or the solidified crystal structure, that the densification process of liquid metals is accompanied by short-range orderings of atoms prior to the formation of crystals, controlling the heterogeneities during homogenous nucleation.

Background:There is an urgent demand of drug or therapy to control the *** July 22,2021 the worldwide total number of cases reported is more than 192 million and the total number of deaths reported is more than 4.12 *** countries have given emergency permission for use of repurposed drugs for the treatment of COVID-19 *** report presents a computational analysis on repurposing drugs—tenofovir,bepotastine,epirubicin,epoprostenol,tirazavirin,aprepitant and valrubicin,which can be potential inhibitors of the ***:Density functional theory(DFT)technique is applied for computation of these repurposed *** geometry optimization,functional B3LYP/6-311G(d,p)is selected within DFT ***:DFT based descriptors—highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO)-lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)gap,molecular hardness,softness,electronegativity,electrophilicity index,nucleophilicity index and dipole moment of these species are *** and Raman activities are also analysed and *** result shows that the HOMO-LUMO gap of these species varies from 1.061 eV to 5.327 *** aprepitant with a HOMOLUMO gap of 1.419 eV shows the maximum intensity of IR(786.176 km mol‒1)and Raman spectra(15036.702 a.u.).Conclusion:Some potential inhibitors of COVID-19 are studied by using DFT *** study shows that epirubicin is the most reactive compound whereas tenofovir is found to be the most *** analysis and clinical trials of these compounds will provide more insight.

The diabetogenic potential of liver cirrhosis(LC)has been known for a long time,and the name"hepatogenous diabetes"(HD)was coined in 1906 to define the *** mellitus(DM)that develops as a consequence of LC is referred to as *** patients with LC,the prevalence rates of HD have been reported to vary from 21%to 57%.The pathophysiological basis of HD seems to involve insulin resistance(IR)and pancreaticβ-cell *** neurohormonal changes,endotoxemia,and chronic inflammation of LC initially create IR;however,the toxic effects eventually lead toβ-cell dysfunction,which marks the transition from impaired glucose tolerance to *** addition,a number of factors,including sarcopenia,sarcopenic obesity,gut dysbiosis,and hyperammonemia,have recently been linked to impaired glucose metabolism in *** is associated with complications and poor outcomes in patients with LC,although the individual impact of each type 2 DM and HD is unknown due to a lack of categorization of diabetes in most published *** fact,there is much skepticism within scientific organizations over the recognition of HD as a separate disease and a consequence of ***,T2DM and HD are being treated in a similar manner although no standardized guidelines are *** different pathophysiological basis of HD may have an impact on treatment *** review article discusses the existence of HD as a distinct entity with high prevalence rates,a strong pathophysiological basis,clinical and therapeutic implications,as well as widespread skepticism and knowledge gaps.
