This study employs a hybrid approach,integrating finite element method(fEM)simulations with machine learning(ML)techniques to investigate the structural performance of double-skin tubular columns(DSTCs)reinforced with glass fiber-reinforced polymer(GfRP).The investigation involves a comprehensive examination of critical parameters,including aspect ratio,concrete strength,number of GfRP confinement layers,and dimensions of steel tubes used in DSTCs,through comparative analyses and parametric *** ensure the credibility of the findings,the results are rigorously validated against experimental data,establishing the precision and trustworthiness of the *** present research work examines the use of the columns with elliptical cross-sections and contributes valuable insights into the application of fEM and ML in the design and evaluation of structural systems within the field of structural engineering.

The construction of heterogeneous frustrated Lewis pairs(fLPs)catalysts is crucial for realizing highly efficient and recyclable pyridines catalytic *** this work,we prepared a recyclable heterogenous fLPs catalyst CMP-Bf with conjugated microporous polymer CMP-ethynyl as the support via self-catalyzed 1,1-carboboration reaction with commercial Lewis acid B(C_(6)f_(5))_(3).The as-synthesized CMP-Bf demonstrates superior heterogenous catalytic hydrogenation performance(conversion>99%),and considerable stability(84%conversion after three cycles)in recyclable hydrogenation of 2,*** work provides insights into the fabrication and catalytic application of recyclable heterogenous fLP catalysts.

This work focuses on the effect of the interval between two shocks on the ejecta formation from the grooved aluminum(Al_(1100))surface by using smoothed particle hydrodynamics numerical *** unsupported shocks are obtained by the plate-impact between sample and two flyers at interval,with a peak pressure of approximately 30 GPa for each *** the shock interval varies from 2.11 to 7.67 times the groove depth,the bubble velocity reduces to a constant,and the micro jetting factor R_(J) from spike to bubble exhibits a non-monotonic change that decreases initially and then *** a shock interval of 3.6 times the groove depth,micro jetting factor R_(J) from spike to bubble reaches its minimum value of approximately ***,the micro jetting factor R_(f) from spike to free surface decreases linearly at first,and stabilizes around 0.25 once the shock interval surpasses 4.18 times the groove *** the shock interval is less than 4.18 times the groove depth,the unloading wave generated by the breakout of the first shock wave is superimpose with the unloading part of the second shock wave to form a large tensile area.

Duo to fluctuations in atmospheric turbulence and yaw control strategies,wind turbines are often in a yaw *** predict the far wake velocity field of wind turbines quickly and accurately,a wake velocity model was derived based on the method of momentum conservation considering the wake steering of the wind turbine under yaw *** consider the shear effect of the vertical incoming wind direction,a two-dimensional Gaussian distribution function was introduced to model the velocity loss at different axial positions in the far wake region based on the assumption of nonlinear wake *** work also developed a“prediction-correction”method to solve the wake velocity field,and the accuracy of the model results was verified in wake experiments on the Garrad Hassan wind ***,a 33-kW two-blade horizontal axis wind turbine was simulated using this method,and the results were compared with the classical wake model under the same parameters and the computational fluid dynamics(CfD)simulation *** results show that the nonlinear wake model well reflected the influence of incoming flow shear and yaw wake steering in the wake velocity ***,computation of the wake flow for the Horns Rev offshore wind farm with 80 wind turbines showed an error within 8%compared to the experimental *** established wake model is less computationally intensive than other methods,has a faster calculation speed,and can be used for engineering calculations of the wake velocity in the far wakefield of wind turbines.

Tributyltin(TBT),a common organotin environmental pollutant,may pose a threat to human development during critical early-life *** aimed to assess the neurodevelopmental intergenerational toxicity of early-life exposure to TBT and the protective effect of DNA methyl donor folic acid(fA).Specifically,after early-life exposure(1–21 days postfertilization,dpf)to TBT(0,1,10 and 100 ng/L),zebrafish(Danio rerio)were cultured in clean medium until sexual *** exposed females were mated with unexposed males to produce embryos(f1).The f1 generation were cultured(4–120 hours post-fertilization,hpf)with and without 1 mmol/L *** neurotoxic effects of early-life TBT exposure for zebrafish and their offspring(f1)were significantly enhanced anxiety and reduced aggression,decreased gene expression of DNA methyltransferase in the brain and increased serotonin levels in the ***,the intergenerational neurodevelopmental toxicity,as manifested in the f1 generation,was attenuated by fA *** summary,early-life TBT exposure led to intergenerational neurodevelopmental deficits in zebrafish,and DNA methyl donors had a protective effect on f1 neurodevelopment,which can inform the prevention and treatment of intergenerational neurotoxicity due to organotin pollutants.

The Jiama deposit,a significant porphyry-skarn-type copper polymetallic deposit located within the Gangdese metallogenic belt in Tibet,China,exemplifies a typical porphyry metallogenic ***,the mineral chemistry of its accessory minerals remains under-examined,posing challenges for resource assessment and ore *** electron microprobe analysis and LA-ICP-MS analysis,this study investigated the geochemical characteristics of apatite in ore-bearing granite and monzogranite porphyries,as well as granodiorite,quartz diorite,and dark diorite porphyries in the *** also delved into the diagenetic and metallogenic information from these geochemical *** findings include:(1)The SiO_(2) content,rare earth element(REE)contents,and REE partition coefficients of apatite indicate that the dark diorite porphyry possibly does not share a cogenetic magma source with the other four types of porphyries;(2)the volatile f and Cl contents in apatite,along with their ratio,indicate the Jiama deposit,formed in a collisional setting,demonstrates lower Cl/f ratios in apatite than the same type of deposits formed in a subduction environment;(3)compared to non-ore-bearing rock bodies in other deposits formed in a collisional setting,apatite in the Jiama deposit exhibits lower Ce and Ga *** might indicate that rock bodies in the Jiama deposit have higher oxygen ***,the marginal variation in oxygen fugacity between ore-bearing and non-ore-bearing rock bodies within the deposit suggests oxygen fugacity may not serve as the decisive factor in the ore-hosting potential of rock bodies in the Jiama deposit.

Promoting effect of feOx addition on the mechanochemically prepared vanadium-based catalyst for real PCDD/fs removal and mechanism insight

Industrial-use VOx-based catalysts usually have a higher active temperature window (>250-300℃),which becomes a“bottleneck”for the practical application of PCDD/fs catalytic degradation *** this work,VO_(x)-feO_(x)/TiO_(2) catalyst prepared via mechanochemically method was investigated for the catalytic removal of PCDD/*** removal efficiency of 1,2-DCBz,pure PCDD/fs gas generated in the lab,PCDD/fs from actual fue gas,long-term were studied,and the degradation mechanism was explored using fTIR and *** degradation efficiency of 1,2-DCBz and PCDD/fs on VO_(x)-feO_(x)/TiO_(2) were higher than that of VO_(x)/TiO_(2)catalyst,and the optimal feOx addition ratio was 3 wt.%.The characterization results show that the addition of feOx can effectively improve the pore structure,surface acidity,and VOx dispersion of the catalyst,thus contributing to increasing the V^(5+)content and surface-active oxygen,which is conducive to the improvement of adsorption and redox performance of the *** the actual MSWI (municipal solid waste incineration)fue gas,the PCDD/fs removal efficiency over VTi-3fe-MC maintained long-term stability,higher than 85%for 240 *** result was not significantly reduced compared with the data obtained in the *** to the analysis results of intermediate products by fTIR and GC-TOfMS,it can be inferred that the epoxidation fracture of benzene ring is the rate-limiting step of dioxin catalytic degradation *** work gives an in-depth view into the PCDD/fs removal over VO_(x)-feO_(x)/TiO_(2) catalysts and could provide guidelines for the rational design of reliable catalysts for industrial applications.
