Objective This study aimed to investigate the potential relationship between urinary metals copper(Cu),arsenic(As),strontium(Sr),barium(Ba),iron(Fe),lead(Pb)and manganese(Mn)and grip strength.Methods We used linear regression models,quantile g-computation and Bayesian kernel machine regression(BKMR)to assess the relationship between metals and grip strength.Results In the multimetal linear regression,Cu(β=−2.119),As(β=−1.318),Sr(β=−2.480),Ba(β=0.781),Fe(β=1.130)and Mn(β=−0.404)were significantly correlated with grip strength(P<0.05).The results of the quantile g-computation showed that the risk of occurrence of grip strength reduction was−1.007(95%confidence interval:−1.362,−0.652;P<0.001)when each quartile of the mixture of the seven metals was increased.Bayesian kernel function regression model analysis showed that mixtures of the seven metals had a negative overall effect on grip strength,with Cu,As and Sr being negatively associated with grip strength levels.In the total population,potential interactions were observed between As and Mn and between Cu and Mn(P_(interactions) of 0.003 and 0.018,respectively).Conclusion In summary,this study suggests that combined exposure to metal mixtures is negatively associated with grip strength.Cu,Sr and As were negatively correlated with grip strength levels,and there were potential interactions between As and Mn and between Cu and Mn.

High-precision modeling of tide-induced 3-D magnetic field and analysis of geomagnetic satellite orbit requirements

Ground-based magnetic observatories and geomagnetic satellites can observe the induced magnetic field generated by the motion of seawater containing sodium and chlorine ions.Calculating the three-dimensional(3-D)spatial distribution of tide-induced magnetic fields(TIMF)is crucial for inverting the electrical conductivity structure of the oceanic lithosphere.It also serves as an essential basis for designing optimal geomagnetic observatories and satellite orbits.However,existing methods for simulating TIMF suffer from limitations in inaccurately modeling realistic coastlines,heterogeneous land and sea surface properties,and complex deep Earth structures,thereby the interpretational level of TIMF data is reduced.To overcome this issue,we developed a tetrahedral-based finite element method for simulating TIMF,which can efficiently approximate realistic coastlines,heterogeneous land and sea surface properties,and complex deep Earth structures.Firstly,we derived the boundary value problem for the seawater motion-induced electromagnetic field,which was solved using the vector finite element method based on tetrahedral elements.Secondly,using the latest ocean depth and seafloor sediment layer models,we constructed a 3-D conductivity model of the Earth,which includes realistic coastlines,heterogeneous land and sea conductivity distributions.We then computed the TIMF using the M_(2)tidal source as an example and validated our method by comparing it with results obtained from spherical harmonic finite element and integral equation methods.Finally,utilizing the computed high-precision M_(2),N_(2),and O1 TIMF signals,we marked global observatories capable of observing strong M_(2),N_(2),and O1 TIMF signals and predicted alternative stations suitable for tide signal observations.Additionally,we calculated TIMF at heights of 450 and 200 km for the Macao Science Satellite 1 and its subsequent satellites.The results indicate that the amplitude of the tidal-induced magnetic field at 200 km is approximately twice that at 450 km.Th

In this paper,we describe the minimal reducing subspaces of Toeplitz operators induced by non-analytic monomials on the weighted Bergman spaces and Dirichlet spaces over the unit ball B_(2).It is proved that each minimal reducing subspace M is finite dimensional,and if dim M≥3,then M is induced by a monomial.Furthermore,the structure of commutant algebra v(T_(w)N_(z)N):={M^(*)_(w)NM_(z)N,M^(*)_(z)NM_(w)N}′is determined by N and the two dimensional minimal reducing subspaces of(T_(w)N_(z)N.We also give some interesting examples.

Association between Serum Uric Acid and the Early Marker of Kidney Function Decline among Chinese Middle-Aged and Older Population:Evidence from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study

Objective To evaluate the association between serum uric acid(SUA)and kidney function decline.Methods Data was obtained from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study on the Chinese middle-aged and older population for analysis.The kidney function decline was defined as an annual estimated glomerular filtration rate(e GFR)decrease by>3 mL/min per 1.73 m^(2).Multivariable logistic regression was applied to determine the association between SUA and kidney function decline.The shape of the association was investigated by restricted cubic splines.Results A total of 7,346 participants were included,of which 1,004 individuals(13.67%)developed kidney function decline during the follow-up of 4 years.A significant dose-response relation was recorded between SUA and the kidney function decline(OR 1.14,95%CI 1.03-1.27),as the risk of kidney function decline increased by 14%per 1 mg/d L increase in SUA.In the subgroup analyses,such a relation was only recorded among women(OR 1.22,95%CI 1.03-1.45),those aged5 mg/dL was associated with a significantly higher risk of kidney function decline.Conclusion The SUA level was associated with kidney function decline.An elevation of SUA should therefore be addressed to prevent possible kidney impairment and dysfunction.

Stability analyses of bleeder pillars in longwall mines by displacement-discontinuity method

Caving in coal mines releases significant amounts of dust and gas. This is exhausted from the mine by forcing the air to travel through the caved zones into a set of roadways known as bleeders. These bleeder entries are operated for the life of the mine, and therefore, they have to be kept in stable condition. Caving operations in coal mines are associated with longwall mines and complete pillar extraction. The pillars adjoining the caved zone sometimes show rib failures, posing a hazard for mine personnel travelling through the entry. In this paper, we present the results from analyses of bleeder pillars that are near the caved zones and are susceptible to damage because of the transfer of load during the caving process.In this study, bleeder pillars were simulated in a displacement discontinuity program. Results showed that the vertical stresses on bleeder pillars increased while the safety factor of bleeder pillar decreased during the caving process; however, when the caved zone completely consolidated, both the stresses and safety factor did not change for the remaining extraction. When similar extraction was performed at deeper depths, vertical stress on pillars increased significantly.

全球电磁感应测深方法能获得地球深部电导率结构分布,目前被广泛应用于地球内部结构与热状态研究.地磁台站与地磁卫星观测的电磁感应数据为时间序列信号,在时间域分析全球电磁感应数据,特别是分析频谱极宽的磁暴脉冲响应,具有天然的优势.然而,当前的全球电磁感应数据解释技术一般在频率域进行,缺少时间域中的研究成果.为了弥补缺少时间域全球电磁感应数据解释方法的问题,本文开发了一种基于磁场矢量势的全球电磁感应时间域三维有限元并行正演求解方法,具备高精度快速计算源于地球外部时变电流源的地球感应电磁场时间序列的能力,特别适合于计算与分析频谱极宽的磁暴脉冲电磁感应时变响应.首先,建立基于磁场矢量势的全球电磁感应时间域微分控制方程,结合磁层外部电流源的物理属性建立边界条件和初始条件,从而构建出全球电磁感应时间域初始边界值问题.然后,利用四面体矢量有限元技术和无条件稳定的隐式后退欧拉公式,分别实现磁场矢量势的空间域和时间域离散,进而获得不同时刻的实系数大型有限元线性方程组,借助于高性能并行直接求解器,快速高精度地求解不同时刻的磁场矢量势与感应磁场.最后,利用理论模型验证本文算法的正确性.利用Dst磁暴环电流指数建立的时间域电流源与真实地球三维电性模型,研究"澳科一号"后续卫星200 km轨道对中国和澳大利亚下方地幔转换带高导体的探测能力,结果表明这些地幔转换带异常体在200 km卫星轨道高度能产生明显异常.综上所述,本文开发的时间域全球电磁感应方法不仅具备精确快速计算全球感应电磁场时间序列响应的能力,还能为反演与解释"澳科一号"等我国地磁卫星观测数据提供技术支持.

Pore characterization of different types of coal from coal and gas outburst disaster sites using low temperature nitrogen adsorption approach

To characterize the pore features of outburst coal samples and investigate whether outburst coal has some unique features or not, one of the authors, working as the member of the State Coal Mine Safety Committee of China, sampled nine outburst coal samples(coal powder and block) from outburst disaster sites in underground coal mines in China, and then analyzed the pore and surface features of these samples using low temperature nitrogen adsorption tests. Test data show that outburst powder and block coal samples have similar properties in both pore size distribution and surface area. With increasing coal rank, the proportion of micropores increases, which results in a higher surface area. The Jiulishan samples are rich in micropores, and other tested samples contain mainly mesopores, macropores and fewer micropores. Both the unclosed hysteresis loop and force closed desorption phenomena are observed in all tested samples. The former can be attributed to the instability of the meniscus condensation in pores,interconnected pore features of coal and the potential existence of ink-bottle pores, and the latter can be attributed to the non-rigid structure of coal and the gas affinity of coal.

Climatic characteristics of high temperature in East China during 1961-2005

Based on the daily maximum temperature data covering the period 1961-2005, temporal and spatial characteristics and their changing in mean annual and monthly high temperature days（HTDs）and the mean daily maximum temperature（MDMT）during annual and monthly HTDs in East China were studied.The results show that the mean annual HTDs were 15.1 and the MDMT during annual HTDs was 36.3℃in the past 45 years.Both the mean annual HTDs and the MDMT during annual HTDs were negative anomaly in the1980s and positive anomaly in the other periods of time,oscillating with a cycle of about 12-15 years.The mean annual HTDs were more in the southern part,but less in the northern part of East China.The MDMT during annual HTDs was higher in Zhejiang,Anhui and Jiangxi provinces in the central and western parts of East China.The high temperature process（HTP） was more in the southwestern part,but less in northeastern part of East China.Both the HTDs and the numbers of HTP were at most in July,and the MDMT during monthly HTDs was also the highest in July.In the first 5 years of the 21st century,the mean annual HTDs and the MDMT during annual HTDs increased at most of the stations,both the mean monthly HTDs and the MDMT during monthly HTDs were positive anomalies from April to October,the number of each type of HTP generally was at most and the MDMT in each type of HTP was also the highest.

界面聚合制备方法通常用于制备纳滤膜或反渗透膜,单体一般为间苯二胺或哌嗪。但是这些水相单体具有较大的毒性、刺激性等不利因素,会对环境及人体造成危害。壳寡糖(chitosan oligosaccharide,COS)是壳聚糖经特殊的生物酶处理得到的较低分子量的海洋多糖类高分子聚合物,绿色无毒,与壳聚糖相比其溶解性大大提高。壳寡糖与壳聚糖的化学性质相似,其分子中含有氨基、羟基,适合作为水相单体通过界面聚合反应制备复合纳滤膜。本研究以壳寡糖为水相单体,均苯三甲酰氯(trimesoyl chloride,TMC)为油相单体,通过界面聚合法在聚醚砜超滤膜(PES)上成功制备COS/PES复合纳滤膜。采用场发射扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和原子力显微镜(AFM)对膜表面进行分析表征;通过错流过滤测试膜通量及染料分离性能。实验结果显示,COS/PES-2复合纳滤膜表面出现斑点状结构,具备较高的膜通量;根据Zisman的临界表面张力外推方法将液体的表面张力与cosθ作图,发现COS/PES复合纳滤膜具有较好的防生物黏着的性能;进一步采用牛血清蛋白质模拟生物质膜污染物,开展了比通量(J/J_(w))下降的实验,结果表明COS/PES复合纳滤膜的比通量始终高于商业PES超滤膜,说明交联壳寡糖活性层具有一定的抗生物质膜污染的性能;染料分离实验结果显示,壳寡糖复合纳滤膜对甲基橙的截留率在0.45~0.53之间,樱草灵的截留率在0.66~0.77之间,染料分子量大于600 Da时,不同浓度(1%、2%、3%,wt)制备的壳寡糖复合膜的染料截留率均保持在90%以上,证明所制备的复合膜属于纳滤的范畴。本研究制备的COS/PES复合纳滤膜符合国内外对发展环境友好型海洋新材料的需求,在环保、医药方面极具应用潜力。
