In power systems,failures of vulnerable lines can trigger large-scale cascading failures,and vulnerability assessment is dedicated to locating these lines and reducing the risks of such failures.Based on a structure and attribute network embedding(SANE)algorithm,a novel q.antitative vulnerability analysis method is proposed to identify vulnerable lines in this research.First,a two-layered random walk network with topological and electrical properties of transmission lines is established.Subseq.ently,based on the weighted degree of nodes in the two-layered network,the inter-layer and intra-layer walking transition probabilities are developed to obtain walk seq.ences.Then,a Word2Vec algorithm is applied to obtain lowdimension vectors representing transmission lines,according to obtained walk seq.ences for calculating the vulnerability index of transmissions lines.Finally,the proposed method is compared with three widely used methods in two test systems.Results show the network embedding based method is superior to those comparison methods and can provide guidance for identifying vulnerable lines.

In some military application scenarios,Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)need to perform missions with the assistance of on-board cameras when radar is not available and communication is interrupted,which brings challenges for UAV autonomous navigation and collision avoidance.In this paper,an improved deep-reinforcement-learning algorithm,Deep q.Network with a Faster R-CNN model and a Data Deposit Mechanism(FRDDM-Dq.),is proposed.A Faster R-CNN model(FR)is introduced and optimized to obtain the ability to extract obstacle information from images,and a new replay memory Data Deposit Mechanism(DDM)is designed to train an agent with a better performance.During training,a two-part training approach is used to reduce the time spent on training as well as retraining when the scenario changes.In order to verify the performance of the proposed method,a series of experiments,including training experiments,test experiments,and typical episodes experiments,is conducted in a 3D simulation environment.Experimental results show that the agent trained by the proposed FRDDM-Dq. has the ability to navigate autonomously and avoid collisions,and performs better compared to the FRDq.,FR-DDq.,FR-Dueling Dq.,YOLO-based YDDM-Dq.,and original FR outputbased FR-ODq..

Surface waves have a considerable effect on vertical mixing in the upper ocean.In the past two decades,the vertical mixing induced through nonbreaking surface waves has been used in ocean and climate models to improve the simulation of the upper ocean.Thus far,several nonbreaking wave-induced mixing parameterization schemes have been proposed;however,no q.antitative comparison has been performed among them.In this paper,a one-dimensional ocean model was used to compare the performances of five schemes,including those of q.ao et al.(q.,Hu and Wang(HW),Huang and q.ao(Hq.,Pleskachevsky et al.(P),and Ghantous and Babanin(GB).Similar to previous studies,all of these schemes can decrease the simulated sea surface temperature(SST),increase the subsurface temperature,and deepen the mixed layer,thereby alleviating the common thermal deviation problem of the ocean model for upper ocean simulation.Among these schemes,the Hq.scheme exhibited the weakest wave-induced mixing effect,and the HW scheme exhibited the strongest effect;the other three schemes exhibited roughly the same effect.In particular,the q.and P schemes exhibited nearly the same effect.In the simulation based on observations from the Ocean Weather Station Papa,the Hq.scheme exhibited the best performance,followed by the q.scheme.In the experiment with the Hq.scheme,the root-mean-sq.are deviation of the simulated SST from the observations was 0.43℃,and the mixed layer depth(MLD)was 2.0 m.As a contrast,the deviations of the SST and MLD reached 1.25℃ and 8.4 m,respectively,in the experiment without wave-induced mixing.

The elliptic azimuthal anisotropy coefficient(v_(2))of the identified particles at midrapidity(|η|q.ark(NCq.scaling at intermediate p_(T).Moreover,we demonstrate that hadronic rescattering does not have a significant impact on v_(2)in p-Pb collisions for different centrality selections,whereas partonic scattering dominates in generating the elliptic anisotropy of the final particles.This study provides further insight into the origin of collective-like behavior in small collision systems and has referential value for future measurements of azimuthal anisotropy.

BACKGROUND Epidural analgesia is the most effective analgesic method during labor.Butorphanol administered epidurally has been shown to be a successful analgesic method during labor.However,no comprehensive study has examined the safety and efficacy of using butorphanol as an epidural analgesic during labor.AIM To assess butorphanol's safety and efficacy for epidural labor analgesia.METHODS The PubMed,Cochrane Library,EMBASE,Web of Science,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,and Google Scholar databases will be searched from inception.Other types of literature,such as conference abstracts and references to pertinent reviews,will also be reviewed.We will include randomized controlled trials comparing butorphanol with other opioids combined with local anesthetics for epidural analgesia during labor.There will be no language restrictions.The primary outcomes will include the visual analog scale score for the first stage of labor,fetal effects,and Apgar score.Two independent reviewers will evaluate the full texts,extract data,and assess the risk of bias.Publication bias will be evaluated using Egger's or Begg's tests as well as visual analysis of a funnel plot,and heterogeneity will be evaluated using the Cochran q.test,P values,and I2 values.Meta-analysis,subgroup analysis,and sensitivity analysis will be performed using RevMan software version 5.4.This protocol was developed in accordance with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses(PRISMA)Protocols statement,and the PRISMA statement will be used for the systematic review.RESULTS This study provides reliable information regarding the safety and efficacy of using butorphanol as an epidural analgesic during labor.CONCLUSION To support clinical practice and development,this study provides evidence-based findings regarding the safety and efficacy of using butorphanol as an epidural analgesic during labor.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of Neferine(Nef)on diabetic nephropathy(DN)and to explore the mechanism of Nef in DN based on miRNA regulation theory.METHODS:A DN mouse model was constructed and treated with Nef.Serum creatinine(Crea),blood urea(UREA)and urinary albumin were measured in mice by kits,and renal histopathological changes and fibrosis were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining and Masson staining.Renal tissue superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA)and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)activities were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Western blotting was used to detect the expression of nuclear factor E2-related factor 2(Nrf2)/heme oxygenase 1(HO-1)signaling pathway-related proteins in kidney tissues.q.antitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(q.RT-PCR)was used to detect the expression of miR-17-5p in kidney tissues.Subseq.ently,a DN in vitro model was constructed by high glucose culture of human mesangial cells(HMCs),cells were transfected with miR-17-5p mimic and/or treated with Nef,and we used q.RTPCR to detect cellular miR-17 expression,flow cytometry to detect apoptosis,ELISAs to detect cellular SOD,MDA,and GSH-Px activities,Western blots to detect Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway-related protein expression,and dual luciferase reporter gene assays to verify the targeting relationship between Nrf2 and miR-17-5p.RESULTS:Administration of Nef significantly reduced the levels of blood glucose,Crea,and UREA and the expression of miR-17-5p,improved renal histopathology and fibrosis,significantly reduced MDA levels,elevated SOD and GSH-Px activities,and activated Nrf2 expression in kidney tissues from mice with DN.Nrf2 is a post-transcriptional target of miR-17-5p.In HMCs transfected with miR-17-5p mimics,the m RNA and protein levels of Nrf2 were significantly suppressed.Furthermore,miR-17-5p overexpression and Nef intervention resulted in a significant increase in high glucose-induced apoptosis and MDA levels in HMCs and a significant decrease in the protein expr

In 2022,a global outbreak of Mpox(formerly monkeypox)occurred in various countries across Europe and America and rapidly spread to more than 100 countries and regions.The World Health Organization declared the outbreak to be a public health emergency of international concern due to the rapid spread of the Mpox virus.Conseq.ently,nations intensified their efforts to explore treatment strategies aimed at combating the infection and its dissemination.Nevertheless,the available therapeutic options for Mpox virus infection remain limited.So far,only a few numbers of antiviral compounds have been approved by regulatory authorities.Given the high mutability of the Mpox virus,certain mutant strains have shown resistance to existing pharmaceutical interventions.This highlights the urgent need to develop novel antiviral drugs that can combat both drug resistance and the potential threat of bioterrorism.Currently,there is a lack of comprehensive literature on the pathophysiology and treatment of Mpox.To address this issue,we conducted a review covering the physiological and pathological processes of Mpox infection,summarizing the latest progress of anti-Mpox drugs.Our analysis encompasses approved drugs currently employed in clinical settings,as well as newly identified small-molecule compounds and antibody drugs displaying potential antiviral efficacy against Mpox.Furthermore,we have gained valuable insights from the process of Mpox drug development,including strategies for repurposing drugs,the discovery of drug targets driven by artificial intelligence,and preclinical drug development.The purpose of this review is to provide readers with a comprehensive overview of the current knowledge on Mpox.

PR/SET domain 1(PRDM1)gene is located on chromosome 6q.1,encoding the B lymphocyte-induced maturation protein 1(BLIMP1).1 It is reported that loss of PRDM1 function is exacerbated in activated B-cell-like(ABC)-diffuse large B cell lymphoma(DLBCL)and associated with inferior survival.However,it remains unclear what leads to PRDM1 inactivation and the drug resistance mechanism caused by abnormal inactivation of PRDM1.We investigated the contribution of PRDM1 gene as a prognosis and potential therapeutic target for ABC-DLBCL patients and further clarified the possible mechanism of PRDM1 abnormal inactivation.We first proposed that TP53 could regulate PRDM1 by histone ubiq.itination modification at the post-transcriptional level.
